I have taken similar bike tours in Seville and Boston and not once have I ever encountered such horrible customer service.
My husband and I took the Central Park tour and at the last stop his chain was damaged. The tour guide left us and told us to find our way back to the store! We thought guidance and the ensuring our safety was included in the price of the tour ... turns out it's not! I called the store and after being transferred a couple of times the girls told me the same response.
After 40 minutes we got to the store and all they cared to do was defend their actions and make sure that we had insurance (which was an extra hidden cost not included in the initial fee). So avoid these folks like a plague. They should learn to prioritize the customer not a stupid bike and treat us with a little kindness

The driver was excellent in telling about all of the interesting places of the park. he was extremely knowledgable about everything that we saw! You could never see all of the places in this hugh park any other way. What a exciting experience!

We did the two hour tour of the park with Joel. The bike and other equipment were great, Joel really knew his stuff and we had a great time. The only suggestion I'd make is not to charge extra for insurance - the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review. Other than that a great experience, company and guide. Recommended!

Company refused to refund or credit a portion of our fee when we were unable to complete our tour in Central Park. They shouldn't have sold that time slot when they knew there would be road closures within the park due to a concert that has been prearranged. That being said, great guide.

This was a great thing to do. The ride was easy, the sights were great and our guide (sorry can't remember his name) was knowledgeable and helpful.

Overall, I really enjoyed the tour- the guide was knowledgeable and the biking was easy and relaxed. However, I did not appreciate that the tour started 20 minutes late and was longer than the 90 minutes stated on the website (would be better to say 1.5-2 hours so people can plan their days around it). Also, the tour guide (Joel) hit on me quite obviously during the tour and afterwards, which was really uncomfortable for me and my brother. Just because someone is being polite or friendly does not mean that you should abandon all professionalism because you think they're interested. Gross.

This tour was great--it was a relatively small group (about 15), the weather was cooperative (I know the company didn't control that, but it was nice anyway), and our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the pace just about right for the group. I wish I had had time to walk the entire park, but I feel like I got to see some of the best of it, and with the help of the guide, knew what I was looking at.
I highly recommend this tour!

The service by Central Park sightseeing was great, I have no complaints at all. It's the best way to see Central Park at your own pace. They have a great deal where if you book online the prices are halved!

Great time with my family biking through Central Park! Reserved online to save $$ & book 2 hours so you're not rushed. Also, use the helmets - they're necessary.

To Mary of Central Park Sightseeing:
Thanks to you and your staff I had a wonderful time biking New York City this last week. Here is a list of how I spent those seven days:
Day #1: A quick spin around the Central Park circuit.
Day #2: Biked the northern perimeter bike paths up the East River bikeway, through Harlem to the very tip of Manhattan and the Hudson River, then down the West side bikeway to 56th St.
Day #3: Biked from 56th St. and down the West side bikeway to the Battery and then up the East River bikeway back to 56th St. That completed the Manhattan circuit.
Day #4: Biked from 56th all the way down Broadway to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Then took the ferry to Staten Island and back. Returned to 56th St. by way of 1st or 2nd Ave.
Day #5: Biked to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Spent most of the day there, then biked to 42nd St. - a mistake - horrendous traffic. Took the bike down into the subway and back with me to Rockaway Beach.
Day #6: Biked the circuit all the way around Jamaica Bay.
Day #7: Biked from Rockaway Beach to the Belt Parkway, Coney Island and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Decided not to take the subway to Manhattan but to keep going because I had not biked the Brooklyn Bridge - so I did it, and returned by way of the East River bikeway to 56th St. Over 30 miles that day.
I rented the bike online for a week, and got my moneysworth. My only observation is that rental bikes in NYC need front shocks due to the pitiful condition of the street paving.
My age is 79 years - if I can do it, anyone can.
Thanks again.

We rented 4 bikes to tour central park. one had a derailer problem while we were by the boathouse. We called and they rode a replacement bike to us in minutes and gave all of us an extra hour of time. great service.

The bikes were in very good shape. We got at good deal, picked up the bikes and they didn't try to sell us a bunch of other stuff. Simple, good and very cool.

My only complaint is that they shouldn't allow customers to purchase two hour rentals when they know you will only have the bike for 1 hour and 20 minutes because of closing time. Everything else was wonderful.

I booked 2 bikes on Central Park Sightseeing website. Check-in at the location was very quick and in a few minutes we had our bikes ready to go. Location is very convenient just 3 blocks far from Central Park. Both bikes seats height were adjusted by the staff. Bikes were in good shape and working just fine. Returning the bikes were also very fast. I would definitely recommend.

I liked the places where the tour took us, but I wasn´t able to hear anything about the history or any explanation because I was the last in the bike´s line, and I guess the tour guide was heard just for the 2 or 3 first persons in the line... Also he should paid more attention to the group because it was easy to stay back at some sreet cross, we almost got lost...
