1 bedroom move, movers arrive and start moving at 9.40am, I noted time because they charge 30 minute increments. I had most things in boxes, but really wasn't allot to move, first box the guy lifts from the top... not supporting at the bottom... ofcourse the box breaks (my fault though according to company... despite moving it twice before them without issue). Things going fine, 1 mover spending time on phone or texting while I help out. Everything gets put in no further issues.
Get to my new apartment, which required us to walk it from loading dock to a lift, then go up 23 levels, and to my apartment. While not ideal needed to be done, 1 trolley isn't good enough, but we all pitched in. First 2 loads at the lift, I took it up put it in apartment myself, went down loaded up again, into apartment, got to loading dock and both movers in truck... nothing moved, 1 on phone.... how can I possibly unload a lift full and get to truck before something is being moved... (according to management I should of contacted them now mid move on the clock to complain...) yeah right.
Everything finally inside, clock off 12.10. Awesome 2 hours 30 plus 30 minute exit fee... the quote was so confusing and no paperwork the 2 movers hand me the card reader and blurt out a price. Once settled I reviewed, to find they charged me 3 hours 30. When questioned the company asked me to prove... ummm ok... should I have taken a photo time stamped... maybe your GPS would have it... but won't look at that, rather call the client a liar.
1 bedside table and a helmet were broken in move, I was blamed for this due to loose items and boxes they broke... so they obviously knew they would damage but didn't advise me as the professionals... Once again I moved it myself earlier without issue...
It took 2 weeks of following up 4 Phone calls and 2 emails to get the answer of prove it, and your fault.... great customer service.

What terrible service. They were 2 hours late and damaged a wall during the moved which was done in front of us the guys did apologise as they couldn't deny it. However once I sent emails explaining what happened and then had to fill in all there resquested paperwork I received an email saying they investigated and the feedback from there staff was they didn't damage anything.
I work in the heavy transport industry and can not believe they have denied any damage done by their staff.
Do not use these guys if you don't want anything damaged.

Unprofessional and never trust the CBD mover sale person. CBD MOVER sale team can commit anything in the phone in order to get sale in but dispatch(actual mover) will not deliver according. They agreed to move my piano to the living hall but end up in the garage. Very bad!

We hired removalists for our furniture to ensure everything was kept intact. Well we might as well have done it ourselves! Despite clearly telling them where not to go through they got our double door fridge through a narrow corridor (2 other options available) and bumped the wall. We had to get a plasterer in a hurry the next day whilst bond cleaning was taking place! I asked on the spot, as I heard the bang, they denied it. I had heard them talk amongst themselves and dismiss it a second before, I was only a couple of meters away. Given that they were 4 males present (we booked 2 people, 4 showed up, 2 just watching and looming around the house) I felt intimidated and did not insist when they kept denying. I even helped out unloading with constant worry of them damaging our new place as they clearly did not care much. When we finally had time to look at everything, our fridge (only a couple of years old) has bumps and scratches (clearly had the wall paint on) and is now obviously much less valuable and permanently damaged. Our bed also got scratched to the point it splintered (genuine timber). We got in touch straight away and were told it was my fault for not saying anything and we were to blame as the corridor was narrow! The thing is, I did raise the issue the second it happened and they lied to my face! I also specifically told them NOT to go through the corridor as we had it delivered beforehand without problems through another way just as short. We have been dragged along wasting time filling forms and following up for 3 months +. Haven't had any refunds or even an apology and they damaged our fridge, our bed and table, as well as made a hole in the wall! They almost dropped our TV not carrying properly thankfully I was watching and had the time to run as a clip holding the box fell and they kept walking not even carrying the box from underneath! And they only had the furniture from a 2 bedroom house to take, thankfully we took care of our boxes because I cannot imagine the state of anything fragile with them... Incredibly dishonest and the absolute worst removalist service I have ever experienced.

I will never use this company again. They were booked to move me from my 3 bedroom duplex. My sister & I moved half of my stuff the day before in our vehicles in approximately 2 hours as the new house was only 2km away. They sent 2 young P Plate boys to move me. They were so slow. They took 5 hours to move my furniture. In the time they took to move one fridge & washing machine & put it on the truck I had moved everything else out of my duplex on my own into the carport. All they had to do was put it on the truck. I then had to move half of it back in the house as they didn't pack the truck properly & had to do a second load. Even though the new house was only 2km away it took them 5 hours to move 2 x beds, 3 x sets of drawers, 1 fridge, 2 x washing machines, 1 x dining room table & chairs, 1 outdoor table & chairs, 1 bookcase, 1 treadmill, 1 bbq & a few boxes & odds & ends. I have been trying to get someone to contact me about this ever since the move as they stood around chatting the whole time. I tried to call the company on the day but couldn't get through on the phone & now they are telling me I should have reported it on the day. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY - THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE

I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. I had to arrange a quick move from Brisbane to Central QLD in two days time for a new job. CBD Movers were the only ones who could do the quick turnaround, the rate was fair and they could do it on the Sunday. After I made the booking I came across this website and saw negative reviews and had some concerns as my white goods and furniture are only a year old and of high quality. I shrink wrapped everything ahead of time and used proper quality moving boxes well taped. Deepi and Parveen from CBD arrived on time, showed outstanding professionalism, packed my items safely and firmly and traveled carefully to the destination. It was a long day for the guys and me but their care and attitude throughout was outstanding. It was a long trip and to be realistic I anticipated some damage, but there was none - absolutely perfect. If you get these two guys, you’re in great hands (truck number HGT26).

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company is so unprofessional. Within the very first hour of them arriving I knew there was going to problems. They only had to move furniture no boxes or small items etc. All the furniture and white goods were ready near the front door of the apartment in a building that has a lift. It took 40 minutes to take the washing machine and fridge to the truck. When I booked I told the customer service agent that I required a pick up from a 2 bedroom unit and a 1 bedroom unit and then all to be delivered to 1 location. After loading the truck at the 2 bedroom unit the truck was full with no room for the 1 bedroom unit. At the extremely slow pace they were going I told them to forget about picking up at the second location. Once at the new location I caught the removalist looking in another person's car in the basement. At the end of move they insisted that I sign their paperwork to say there was no damage to my furniture and tried to push me to do a video testimony to say I was really happy with their service. After they left I checked all of the furniture a found the tear marks on the leather chair. These chairs are brand new and never been used. I lodged a complaint with customer service and has to chase them every second day for two weeks before they responded. The response I got "We had discussion with the movers who performed your job on the day and they stated that the entire job was performed with due care and skill." All up it took them 5.5 hours to move furniture and white goods from a 2 bedroom unit to a new location 10 minutes away. Do yourself a massive favour and use any other company but this one!

We hired CBD Movers for removals of domestic items from Brisbane to Harrisdale in WA. And booked the service with good price quotation and scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Next day their guys came with all the required items and make my all shifting item loaded into their truck in 45 minutes. They shifted all items carefully to my location. The guys were super professional. I am fully impressed with their removals services in Brisbane and highly recommend.

They speak another language entirely in front of you the whole time, which is rude for starters. Secondly they go SOOOOOOOOOOOO S.L.O.W. it's infuriating. They have NO idea how to pack the goods in the truck efficiently and carefully. They took 10 hours to move a 4 bedroom house 30 minutes away. The previous company we used to move into tgat house took 6 hours with the addition of all our flatmates property too. So these guys had LESS stuff and took longer. It cost nearly a GRAND. I'm po'd off I had to pay that much for two people to waste time chattering about god knows what half the time.

I am completely angry and dissatisfied about the job (212284) completion for the move request from Victoria Park to Harrisdale in WA and hence I am reviewing the service. I am listing below the main issues:
1. When I booked the service I was informed that the job will be between 2 and 5 pm and it was not communicated to me clearly that is the expected arrival time. This I understand that it could be a miscommunication.
2. The truck arrived at 3.35pm and my friends and I helped the guys in the loading process despite them being on the phone, standing and chatting for a considerable time. We ensured that clearly labelled fragile items and appliances are loaded well. The loading was completed at 5.00 pm. The truck moved shortly after and we were expecting the truck to arrive in no longer than 30 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes passed and they were not picking the phone up. After 2 hrs they informed me that the truck has a battery problem and they have fixed it and they will be on the road in 10 minutes. Despite trying to call them several times and not answering and not keeping me informed, the company called and told me that they have a bigger problem and they have a mechanic working on it. They also informed me that the guys will be in touch as the office is about to close at 7 pm WST.
The guys refused to answer calls and did not provide any update. At 8.50pm they answered and they informed me that they are about to finish loading the items on a replacement truck the company sent and they will start moving in 15-20 minutes. At 10 pm they answered and they told me they are 20 minutes away. They finally arrived at 10.45pm.
They brought two other guys and the luggage was thrown randomly in the truck and stacked on top of each other at no specific order without consideration to fragile boxes despite having clearly labelled boxes.
They started unloading boxes and I pointed out that some of the clearly labelled boxes were damaged. They then demanded the payment before finishing unloading, they refused to unload the rest of the stuff (big items) unless I made the full payment and they threatened to leave with the stuff and actually closed the truck. According to the information I was provided, I was informed that payment will happen after the completion of the job. After a lengthy argument, I paid to resolve the issue as it was midnight and no information centre was available to answer the calls. Despite not agreeing to the amount and they refused to unload or make a discount for the time wasted.
3. when the payment was made, it turns out they were insisting on the payment as the large items have significant damages as follows with picture evidence:
a) The fridge apparently has fallen somehow during the transport of transfer between trucks and has significant damage in the back and the side. There was a broken door and a missing piece from the door was found on the floor of the truck and the guy tried to fix it while I was recording and he stopped and asked me to sort it out with the company (I have video and picture evidence).
b) The dining table has significant damages to the surface (Can be seen clearly on the pictures).
c) The bed bases have significant damage and oil stains (pics available)
d) Coffee table leg is broken (pic).
I contacted the company and provided evidence and videos and pictures and this is the response I got from “Perry” at Customer Service:
Greetings from CBD Movers!
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you during the move. We had discussion with the movers who performed your job on the day and they stated that the entire job was performed with due care and skill. Job was performed under customer supervision they never dropped or banged anything during the entire move.
Regarding arrival time, we gave you arrival time in between 02- 05pm and movers reached at your location at 03:35pm. So they were not late. They arrived within estimated time.
When they were going at drop off location, they had some mechanic issues on the truck. They tried but they had to call another team to deliver your stuff at drop off location. Then they arrived at drop off location with 4 Men. Another 2 Men also helped them in unloading because it was already dark. But they didn't charge you for another 2 Men.
Regarding damages, movers are denying that they didn't damage anything. They used proper blankets to protect the stuff. Even they proper packed the stuff on second truck as well. So we believe that nothing damaged by movers . However, these kind of minor scratches/dents can occur during the move, as it depends on multiple factors like access to the property, narrow stairs access, enclosed section, Furniture size (bulky, heavy, delicate) etc.

Regarding payment, they charged you only 3 hours working time and 1/2 hour for return fee. They didn't charge you for the time when the truck was broken down. They completed the job in the dark but still they tried their best and moved your items carefully. So we cannot help you in this matter and not liable for any damages now.
So I decided to contact consumer protection to help in this issue.
Overall, I would not recommend the company as I ended up with over $2500 damage bill from a simple move job without an acknowledgement of liability despite the evidence provided.

They broke my dining table didn't offer to help clean up the glass they did stop working to watch me clean up with my 1 year old son in my arms I didn't even recive an appology from them. I was told I would be fully reimbursed as they admitted they were at fault. They dropped it outside my elivator inside the building in the lobby. After putting my claim in and sending through photos of the damage I received an email stating the workers said they did not drop it smashed in the heat this glass was 3 inches thick . They lacked basic of communication skills & respect
