The mover I had originally booked, backed out 3 days before the move. Contacted them to check possibility of move, at such a short notice. They accepted and executed the job very well !!

Arrived an hour late without an apology, rude lifters who couldn't be happier to have your do their work. Seriously overpriced movers who would charge you more than quoted on the day, despite, as previously mentioned, being an hour late.
If you enjoy nonexistent customer service coupled with unfair charges then be my guest and go with them.

I am very happy with this mover. They were engaged in the latest move of my house. I have had bad experiences during past moves with other movers but this one was very good. Cheers !

Why is there not a zero star rating??
I have never EVER been so mortified by the practices of a business. Just do not engage with these people and do not believe the few positive reviews - highly suspicious if you ask me.
These people use stand over tactics, bullying, intimidation of woman and harassment to force customers into paying for extra fees.
They arrived late and argued for 20 mins about stairs and not wanting to touch furniture until it was further dismantled. All while the 'moving' clock was ticking.
Twice they threatened to walk off the job.
They intentionally go at snails pace and when asked to move quicker, they became aggressive and walked off.
They requested full payment of the job before it was complete and when we challenged them about this ludicrous request, they became threatening, said they would charge even more if we kept asking questions and then they shut up the truck and prepared to drive off - with furniture still inside.
When I succumbed and finally paid them, they then said we had to help move the rest of the furniture as they were 'busy'!!!
In the end there were three different prices from the onsite eftpos payment, the over the phone quoted price on the day and the emailed receipt days later. I mean, come on??
For reference, ours was a small move to a tiny 2 bedroom unit a mere 5 mins away!
They charged us for 4 hours!!!!!!!!!
My regular mover would have done it in 1 hour... as he has done before.
I hope with all my heart this company dies a fast death so no one else has to suffer their foul practices, as the majority of reviews testify.

CBD removals UK is one of the worst services you can ever take. They had taken my order for shifting my house for the 13th of April and I had also paid an advanced for their services. On the day of the shifting they don't turn up not even a single call from them. I repeatedly call their number and no one picks up the call or replies to my mail. Finally I get them after two days on the call and asked for a refund of my advance and I don't get a proper answer from regarding it neither do they respond my mail. Now I have filed a complaint against them on the consumer helpline and I request all of you to be careful while dealing with them please don't fall for their trap.

NEVER EVER book this moving company. 100% fraudulent and unprofessional.

My booking was very, very simple: pickup a new bed in East Freo, then a couch in Cottesloe---and bring me both items in Cottesloe.
This simple booking was from the hours of 8am-11am. I explained to the lady on the phone when I made the booking, that I had several important appointments and needed to be gone by 12 noon. She assured me that it was a quick job that would only take an hour. She then said she had to pre-charge me for 1/2 an hour.
I was up at 7:30am. 10:40am came around and the couch people and bed people contacted me wanting to know where the movers were. So, I called. This is when I was told: that they were down two trucks, and that their only two available movers were stuck on a job that had way more furniture than they'd been told before the move---and that it would be another 2 hours before the men were even done with the previous job.
What amazed me most, was the woman's entire lack of professional concern that they're company had c*cked-up the day of three people.
I called multiple times, and no one at the company cared that my entire day was completely stuffed, and it was 100% their doing.
My furniture wasn't delivered until 4pm.
Then, the vile manager, Henry, kept the movers waiting 1/2 hour with my furniture sitting in the van, while he ran a bunch of BS on me trying to make excuses about they're being five hours late, and then in desperation he finally blamed ME, saying that Debbie had tried to call me at 8:30am to tell me about the delay!! Right. Problem for him is that there were 11 phone calls, and nine of them were made by me to CBD Movers, beginning at 10:40am---and my phone proves it.
By time they were finished unloading, they were six bl**dy hours behind the proper schedule.
Then, the vile manager, Henry, had the audacity to not only charge me full price for the move they c*cked-up on, but he again lied saying the 1/2 hour I'd already paid for, was not to go against the booking hours, but rather that it was a 'booking fee.'
What a crock. The invoice clearly says that the money I paid up front, would be taken off the invoice. I paid an additional $172.00 for the whole fiasco.
I'm the wrong woman to mess about. This company is about to feel a hurt equivalent to a massive earthquake.
Never, ever book with CBD Movers.
They do not offer a 'stress-free service' they are absolutely unprofessional, fraudulent sh***, and you've been warned. This day has cost me almost $1,000 in monetary loss. Don't be foolish and get done like me. Never, ever book this company to move you.

Absolute disgrace of a company and service. Would not wish them on my worst enemy. On friday March 1st I had 3 movers from your company attend my property and relocate my possessions across town, A move of 10 minutes in distance.
When I moved from another property further away 3 men completed the job in 4 hours.
Your 3 men took 7 hours and two trips in the same size truck, and thats with less items than the previous move.
1 of the men did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING the entire time.
2 men were carrying boxes that were filled with sheets and weighing no more than 5KGS together. One on each end!
The men took time sitting on the couch and playing with their phones.
They damaged a piece of furniture, I saw it fall off the truck thru my window.
They refused to take TVs. This was never explained to me by the person who took the booking, meaning I had to get another company in to move those.
I am missing a bag containing 6 pairs of new shoes.
I myself had to move the couch in because they said they couldn't get it in.
I was quoted $427.50 then the movers charged me over $700.00 on the spot and if i didnt pay it they would keep the rest of the belongings on the truck.
Now trying to get a hold of customer service is near impossible.
DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!

I noticed mixed reviews about these guys but I personally have nothing bad to say here. I rang at 8am for a same day move and they accommodated me. The admin guy I spoke with explained the charges over the phone and confirmed them immediately via email.
Booked for 3pm - received a call about 20 minutes before to let me know they were running late (previous customer was running late + traffic) and got new ETA which was met. The two movers were professional, polite, careful and helpful - if was a hot day and they politely asked if they could fill their bottles wth water -which I didn’t mind at all. The final bill was slightly less than quoted as the distance was quite short so everything got done in a little less time than expected.
They took the bed apart and put it back together for me, disconnected and reconnected the washing machine for me, placed all heavy items in the right spot in the new place so I wouldn’t have to move it myself later.
Not a scratch or dent on anything, including my artwork.
These guys were polite, quiet, conscientious workers, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. Pricing I found was very reasonable and start and finish times certainly were correct. Stress free move that made a huge difference to me. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and would not hesitate to use their services again.
Half the price of previous company I’d used who had damaged furniture and thrown my partner’s tools in one big pile, these guys showed great care and courtesy.

My movers lied about their start time. Said they got there at 8.am. Actual time - 8.35. Of COURSE I checked the time they got there. I'm being charged from arrival to departure. I made sure to check my phone as they were coming in the driveway. Had a huge argument with their administration at end of job, which is when I found out about the 'new' claimed start time. But it was the movers word against mine. Never considered they'd lie so blatantly. (Naive much) Second issue was I had two furniture pick up points. A fridge was supposed to taken from first pickup to second pick up but NOT on to the final drop off. I was very clear about it. First thing I told one of the movers after 'hello'. They brought the fridge to the final drop off. Then REFUSED to take it back as their own mistake. Said it was not their fault but claimed I HADN'T TOLD THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! Of course I did! So they ripped me off for an extra half an hour THEN they charged me another half an hour to take the fridge back! Why did I pay all that, or at all you ask? Cos it's a very dodgy organisation. They REFUSED to unload my last items until payment finalized! Had a huge over the phone argument on front sidewalk of new premises with their administration. Got the distinct feeling this kind of argument was not at all new to them. They know of course you'll pay, a) to get your stuff and b) to get rid of them. They know you're busy and sweaty and don't have time for that s**t. It's worth it to them to add those extra 'times'. It all adds up. Don't use them!

Excellent customer service! Efficient Movers.They knew how to take care of our belongings. They had ropes, blankets, trolleys & a good size body truck. I recommend CBD Movers & would definitely use them again.

DO NOT USE! Booking CBD movers has been the worst moving experience of my life. Upon booking them and telling them I have a 1 bedroom apartment to move, they didn’t confirm what furniture I needed moved, the arrived 2 hours late and proceeded to tell me that it would take 2-3 trips to move a 1 bedroom apartment of furniture in a 4.5 tonne truck.
No one speaks fluent english and all they do is talk over the top of you when you ring them. The 2 lads that showed up to move everything were even more incompetent then the office - they bent the mattress in half almost breaking the springs in it, they spent 20 mins walking around looking at the furniture and telling me it won’t all fit in the truck and spent another 20 mins on the phone to their boss. They didn’t even try to fit everything in. After telling them I no longer wanted their services, in a not so polite way, they tried telling me i had too much stuff and no removalist will move it in one trip. I had another company move everything in one trip in a 4 tonne truck with plenty of room to spare. Upon asking for a refund, I got 2 different stories - the refund will be within 24 hours, then i got the refund will take place in the next4-5 business days.
They have no idea what they are doing. I would NOT recommend these guys even if my life depended on it.

The CBD team were on promised time and handled the moving of our furniture and my fragile paintings . Their rates are reasonable and I will be definitely recommending them for my family and friends.

They are the worst ever service providers I have ever interacted with. They talk good but deliver poor. It was a 2 bed room move. Pickup was good but everything after that was a nightmare.
The complete interstate operation is on the will and wish of one person by name [name removed].
Once they get the payment it takes significant efforts to reach them. Finally when reached he said they did not respond to my calls whole day as they were busy with other new customers. This is really hurting.
The language he uses is extremely unprofessional, "we did FAVOR by picking your stuff the very next day". It is next to impossible to escalate the issue as they won't let you reach till the seniors or management.
Delivery date and time keeps changing. They never honor their commitments and do not even bother to keep the customer posted proactively.
The whole relationship costed significant number of phone calls (easily around 25-30 calls) and loads of stress.
They initially say that the complete unloading will be done by their own person and then their delivery team asked us to help. My complete family helped in unloading as they pleaded that they wont be able to drive after a certain time. Trust me had I not constantly supervised, the lift would have got more scratches and caused further damage to the items.
I opted for insurance by paying extra. When I reported the damage caused. Following were the questions asked:
Did you take the pictures of your items before they were loaded for pickup ?
How will you prove that we damaged it ?
We can help you only if they were brand new ?
Do you have purchase receipts for damaged items ?
Initially I was assured that all the furniture items would be blanket packed but it was false. Only selected items were packed and those too were handled carelessly while unloading.
Looks like they are capable to handle just the local move (which I doubt again) and not interstate. They are completely closed minded and take no feedback to improve. Even for getting the invoice for the payments made I had to chase them several times. I finally accepted the loss from all the damage to avoid any further communication with this company. It really is a wonder to see them survive with such a pathetic standard of service.
[name removed] needs significant training. He does everything possible to get the customers business and then treats customers disrespectfully/unprofessionally. Pathetic listener.
One can never trust their written or verbal communication.
I would strongly suggest to avoid this company.
