Bought a pair o items. They only sent me one. I wanted to return it and get a full refund, first of all I'm gonna pay for my return and they will not refund all my money. Handling fees was even expensive than the item itself.

I ordered a matching set of headlights for our Nissan. I received an email that day saying my order had shipped. Then two days later i received an email saying my refund had been approved? I had no idea what they were talking about . They refunded me the price of one headlight and sent the other one to me. When I called to asked them to call me and talk about the problem they emailed me again and said they had sent me a parts shortage notice on the day they refunded my money for the one light and that I should wait 2 to 3 weeks and try to reorder the other light! They should have never sent me one light when I ordered a set without getting in touch with me first. And its been 3 days now and they still haven't gotten back to me with an (RMA) so I can send this one back and get a refund to order a set from a reliable company. Terrible service !!!

I ordered a mirror assembly for my jeep from them on 4/8 which the website saying it would be here to me at 4/10. However I checked this morning and it said it would be to me wednesday 4/15. However after checking again since I got an email from FedEx it now states I will get it 4/17. Now I'm not one to complain since the buying process was fantastic quick and easy but the shipping is ridiculous. I would under 3-5 business days which is what it was seemingly to be, but now well over a week for a part to be purchased and received by me. I might as well have ordered it from amazon where I could've gotten it from the actually mirror manufacturer, or Walmart. I have bought one thing from carparts.com and I will never do it again.

I ordered side rear view mirrors for my 2009 Yukon. The where shipped from different warehouses and they are different brand so they do not match. Been trying to get a hold to them and have not had any luck. Would never order anything from them.

I purchased a part that was a "guaranteed" fit. Only it was not and did not fit. It was also very low quality. I've been trying to reach them for weeks but have not gotten a response and phone lines are never working.

I ordered an item (tail light housing for an Acura TSX) and 2 days later received an e-mail from Carparts stating that the item wasn't in stock. It's rainy season and I needed the part asap but I've just wasted 2 days. CarParts, we're in 2020, websites should reflect what you have in stock!

I purchased a mount for my car. It was the wrong mount. Yes that's my fault. But Its impossible to return this item. It's been over 5 days and I have yet to hear from a rep to tell me correct ways to go about the return process. After they told me it would only take 2 to 3 days to contact me. Its quite disappointing this is how they take care of customers. I dont recommend and I definitely wont ever purchase this website again. Really shows they dont care about their customers and they just want your money.

My elderly neighbor backed into my driveway hitting my new car and damaging my side fender. I immediately went online looking for a reasonable priced fender I could afford and came across this website which had the fender i was looking for. I was a bit skeptical because the price was so dirt cheap compared to what I know my dealer would've charged for it, needless to say I ordered the fender on a late Sunday night, Monday morning I received a phone call from a very knowledgeable representative who wanted to make sure the part I ordered online the night before was indeed the correct part and thank god he called because I had ordered the wrong part, he walked through step by step until we got the correct part ordered and by Wednesday morning my fender was at my front door and my car was in and out the shop by Friday afternoon. Everything was advertised and if i ever need any automotive parts again they are my first and only choice. Thanks again

The part fit fine but the shipping was the worst I've seen. When I put the part in the cart the shipping options all showed the same result, 2 days which makes sense since I live like 2-3 hours away. It could have easily been put in us mail with the cheapest postage available and been here on time, but it was sent FedEx smartpost instead of ground and it took a week. FedEx took it from Wisconsin past where I live to st louis then back to Springfield IL then finally to me. Real smart right?? I could have gotten it from the west coast faster. Because of this I had a pissed off customer that was without her vehicle for the week. This happened to me one other time when I ordered from the JC Whitney junk peddlers and upon further research I saw that carparts.com is a division of JC Whitney. Surprise Surprise !! Don't waste your time with these companies! I've never had this problem with Rock Auto. I had to eat the cost of the part and only charge labor to satisfy my customer. Never again! I've lived in central Illinois over 45 years and I can tell you NOTHING GOOD comes from Chitcago!

Tell you truth about carparts if they send you the wrong part. They will not pay for shipping to send it back. Second time this happened to me. Take it as is.

One thing I detest, if a merchant says that product is in stock, then it should be IN STOCK. Placed an order with Carpart.com. Verified the part number, verified the merchant that they weren't a scam operation, went through the ordering process. Received an email confirming the purchase. Twenty minutes later, oh we are out of stock of that product and it will take 6 business days for the money to go back on my card. What a waste of my time. Terrible merchant. Get your act together.

As others have mentioned, I ordered a fender and provided everything (car model, make, year etc.) and the website advertised this part to be exactly the one I was looking for. Turns out it was not, and they sent me the wrong part. Now they refuse to give me my full refund. I paid more for shipping than for the actual product, but not only will they not return me the money I paid for shipping, but they also want me to PAY for RETURN shipping. They promise to guarantee you the right parts, but instead they send you the wrong ones and expect to keep your hard earned money. Crooks.

Carparts.com "guarantee" lift supports fit my vehicle. Opon receipt I quickly realize they are not even close. I completed the carparts.com RMA process and was advised if I pay for return shipping, carparts.com will eventually issue a refund minus the original shipping costs. So I would be out shipping costs both ways to fix their mistake. BTW - USPS charges more for return shipping then I paid for the lift supports.

Bought a $13 car handle that I paid $25 for overnight delivery so that my mechanic could put it on the next day. Carparts.Com out of Carson, CA, (in live in SoCal) sends it to Las Vegas for shipment and it gets there at 4:20 am, but then FedEx decides not to send it out that day! So they flip it to STANDARD DELIVERY. After I say, "Don't send it anymore," Fed-Ex delivers. I call and say take it back. They do. And return to sender. But guess what, Carparts.Com only refunds your part price -- not shipping. So don't waste your time with Express Delivery by Carparts.com or Fed-Ex. Seems like a racket to me!

Spent several hours looking through online catalogues for a part for my car. Chose carparts.com and called to place my order because it was my first time doing business with the company. The website showed the part in stock and I made my order and received receipt by email. Today, two days later, I received notice the part is out of stock and to call for an alternative. The alternative was almost 50% more than what I originally ordered. Why am I not surprised? The website still shows my part in stock, but the CSR said IT just hasn't had a chance to fix it. They apologized for the inconvenience, and just wanted to sell me the more expensive part. No thank you. My business is going elsewhere.

Ordered a couple of parts which seems acting up after a couple of years. Good one for cheaper part compare to the pricey ones that could fail as well. Different story on my buddy who got led lights that easily got bad after 6 months due to moisture and he couldn't get a refund, unlike the other led light bar from 4WheelOnline that works great after about 3 years.

I order 2 parts for my car and assumed they would come as one order. When I received only one part, I contacted them and they were quick to respond, letting me know the 2 parts were shipped separately and I would receive the 2nd part that very day. It did come and both parts were as described. Very happy with the purchase and the great customer service.

I bought this part because the fan in my car went bad, so when I had the mechanic fix it and replace the fan with the new fan I received from car parts.com the problems really began. First the fan didn't work at all. We finally figured out that the port was bad or defective because we replaced it with the port from the old fan and it worked fine. I was a little irritated as was the mechanic for having to go through that extra work when I paid $200 for this fan. I went to review the product and tell them I was displeased and they refunded me $20 for the port being bad. the whole fan is now on sale for 150 by the way on their website. But that's not the only problem the fan wobbles because the blades itself is loose and I'm going on vacation next week so I don't have time for this. they've agreed to send me a full refund but that would mean that I have to get my mechanic to remove this fan a.k.a. pull the radiator hose again and replace it with a new one and they only refund my money once I send this fan so I can't drive my car for and who knows how long so I guess I have a defective part now that cost me $200 minus Minus their little $20 credit don't waste your time go to a company thatll give you the right part that works properly the first time

The company would not cancel an order. I ordered a part and found out I did not need it after all. I called to cancel the order only a few minutes after placing it. The company said they would "try" and cancel it. I ended receiving the order in the mail 3 or 4 days later. I don't understand why a company would be unable to cancel an order within a very short amount of time after placing an order.
