DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
If this company traded in the UK, The Trading Standards Office would INMO would probably close them down immediately having regard to the Unfair Contract Terms
My partner and I are very experienced travellers and have rented many cars throughout the world. I was not aware of this company as my rental started with one of the main Comparison sites, then went to an international Car Rental broker, then to another and eventually to this lot.
They ware situated in a scruffy yard well away from the airport facilities and you are greeted by the site of burnt out vehicles and a large guard dog! We arrived very late at night and thought we had checked the vehicle over thoroughly. (we hired an 8 seater for 8 adults) We arrived back in good time (A useful tip if you must use this company, select the latest possible time , even if its after your planes departure as they appear to be one of these firms that profit from the slightest delay!)
The car was clean, however the person there pointed out some "soiled scuffs" on the plastic wheel arch where you get in the car on both sides. With the use of a wet wipe, we cleaned that off (20 seconds!), however he said that he had"CLOSED HIS SYSTEM" and he had classed the car as "DIRTY"!!
Next he went over the car as a forensic investigator would, finally finding a very slight scuff on one of the plastic wheel discs. On the strength of this, he said we would have to pay for a replacement which I found out later was €97.60!!!
The attitude became increasingly menacing and two of my party became very concerned and made a point of standing close by me as time went on and more forms were printed out for me to sign.
I was forced to sign documents that I did not understand, and despite protests I was forced to agree all his costs without being told what they were!!
I refused and said that I would sign his contract once I was made aware of how much he was going to take from my credit card and not before.
By this time, one of my party, a lady in her 70s became very upset and was in tears, the departure time for the plane was drawing closer. It was made very clear that if I did not sign, he would not take us to the airport!!
I reluctantly agreed to sign his forms but added the rider that I did not understand the forms, and that I was signing under duress. He refused initially to accept my amendments and threw the form into the bin and printed out another. I did the same and he then accepted.
I was then shown how much I was being charged!!
Instead of just the cleaning charge he had charged almost€100 for a new plastic wheel cover!!
Accordingly, I informed him that as I had paid for a new replacement, I would take the old disc! He told me I couldn't however the disc was removed as evidence (and also to protect other future renters from what I considered to be a scam)
if that wasn't enough, a further charge was added of €42.70 as an "admin charge"??
The previous review suggested that from the outset, this Company set out to sting customers with lots of extra costs.I would agree with this opinion.
From our experience, I can only say, that we have NEVER in our long life experienced such a disgraceful experience.
To sum up - simple words of advice.
And also check that your rental has not been passed on to Car Motion from another company

Simple don’t choose CarMotion for your car rental because they are a bunch of lying, rude chancers. CarMotion have systems in place to rip you off no matter how much of a decent and respectful customer you are. I could find any review on CarMotion but found plenty of bad reviews for GreenMotion car rentals. I have a feeling they have changed their name. They have a long list of fines you have to navigate so you don’t get billed at the end of the holiday. We thought we had avoided all of them by being very careful with our vehicle and even cleaning at the end so it could be inspected because I know they would have charge us for that. We still got stung for £120 for returning the car late! We were told to bring it back for 10:30am which would just give us enough time for our flight. We wanted to take it earlier so we got their for 10am and would have been earlier had I not got lost. Upon arrival he abruptly stated we were late which was news to me especially as I had spoke to him 15mins earlier asking for directions which he said he would send me them on WhatsApp. He didn’t. Then he said you are only allow 58 mins after the time you should have brought it back which was 9am. I explained that we were told we only needed to be here for 10:30. He just dismissed me as that was impossible which just filled me with rage but I new not to let it show as they still had £3000 deposit on my card and we needed to get our flight. There is a lot more to this tale is despicable corrupt company and I will try to get my money back. CarMotion are bent choose anyone else.
