It is good and works good but is hard to program following instruction.
In standard setup mode there is no dial tone and in parallel set up mode is difficult to program.
It has to be a better way, to develop easier programming way.
Your's suggestion does not work.

We have used the CPR Call Blocker for many months and it is amazing how many nonsense, scam calls have stopped. When we do receive a call that we want to block all we do is press the button and that stops them!
Highly recommend the CPR Call Blocker if you DON'T want to be bothered by ridiculous, unnecessary calls!

This is our second Call Blocker. We took advantage of the buy back program. We are extremely pleased with our new one as we were with our original Call Blocker.

I bought the previous version (the v5000) over a year ago and I noticed the peace and quiet right away. But sometime this Spring I started getting more and more unwanted calls again and by the time I upgraded I had manually blocked 62 phone numbers - many of them for callers with the same Caller IDs, but different numbers (such as Portfolio Reco). With the new version (v10000) and its larger database of blocked numbers I am again getting more peace and quiet, and after one month I have only had to manually block 7 callers - and again, about half of those were for callers with the same Caller ID, but different numbers. The new version also has some user-programmable features that I like that help filter out the unwanted callers.

This device is wonderful. It stops most calls before they get to me. My only critical review is that it does not stop the spoofing calls and some of these I cannot block.

I've only had this new Call Blocker about 2 weeks, so I'm not sure if it's blocking more calls than my old one. But I do have to re-block numbers that I blocked previously on my older version.
So far that hasn't been a problem.

The original Call Blocker kept me from answering "Unknown Caller" 115 times in one month. The new 10000 unit is even better with review option to allow and block numbers.

I love the Call Blocker V10000. The only downside or complaint is that it doesn’t have the name of the caller or where the call was generated from.

Great product but not happy with there trade-in deal for the V10000.
I was told I could trade in my 5000 and save $40 to upgrade. I was good with it and the V10000 is worth the price until the next week they put the V10000 on sale for what I traded my old unit in for.
Big Scam to think I could have kept my other unit because I paid for the V10000 anyway.
I payed for the new unit and gave them mine.

The message you just posted made absolutely no sense. Your one day sale was the same as the trade in deal you offered. Anyone in there right mind would rather pay for the unit while it was on sale then to do the same deal as a trade-in. I save $40 buying it on sale or I save $40 and send you my old unit.

The number of unwanted calls I formerly received has dropped dramatically. I have found myself checking for a dial tone on several occasions since installing my call blocker. I wish I had done it sooner. Next, my cellphone.

I'm on my second V10000 and it still does not work properly. Customer service said they were sending me a new line to make it work and that was 2 weeks ago. I was better off with my V5000, at least that worked sometimes.

I really like this product. I have also read some of the other reviews. This is a product that can take some used to in know how it works. People complain, but for the most part it's because they have not taken the time to study. Yes I like that I have the option to only except calls from people on the list. But I am using the BlockNow Choice. But the options are there. I also like that I can unblock a number and add a number using my cordless phone. If I get a lot of calls from an area code I can block them as well. So yes I see there is so much to this product that I wonder who could complain.
If I could ask for one feature I like to be able to access the database from my computer and take away and add numbers or maybe even upgrade from a database. But this is not necessary and would only add cost. Every time I block a number, they can't call back. If I get calls from a area code, i'll block that area code. So yes thanks for a great product. Very well done.
There is a slight delay when someone calls me there is a two ring delay before my phone rings. I take it that the unit has to do its job, so I am not worried about it. If those people who want to talk to me, can't wait an extra two rings then don't call me. Otherwise leave me alone. :-) Really then it wasn't important to call in the first place. Right? Thank You

THE HOME PHONE:
We have a home phone, yes a landline. I have always had a landline and consider my cell phone to be an accessory and not a necessity.
I don't give out my cell phone number to anyone except my friends and family. The doctor, the bank, and everyone else gets my home number. When my cell phone rings it's someone I want to hear from. I have a secret to tell you too. My cellphone is set up so numbers not in my contacts don’t ring on my phone. (It's the CPR call blocker app for cellphones).
Want to remind me of a doctor's appointment, call me at home. The bug guy wants to come out to spray the house, leave me a message on the home phone.
We had a problem though. After we retired we noticed we were getting five to ten and sometimes more telemarketing or robo calls every day. We were on the national do not call registry to stop the telemarketers but that didn't seem to work. Nothing we did could stop these calls.
I don't know who it was, I think the guy that called and wanted to sell us cemetery plots was the call that pushed me over the edge. So, I did some research. I found a “call blocker” that received very high recommendations. I was desperate so I went ahead and purchased the CPR Call Blocker V5000. I had found it for sale on Amazon for $89.00 but wiki buys found it on QVC for $59.00. Since I was a new customer, QVC was offering me $20 off if I applied and qualified for their credit card. Oh, heck yes. It dropped the cost of the call blocker to $39.00. Lucky me.
It arrived a week later and I hooked it up almost immediately to our phone. This is now one year later. It took blocking 172 numbers to stop all the telemarketing calls from getting through. The unit allows me to block 1500 numbers if I have too. It's easy to use and I would recommend it to everyone. I think I should mention that I am NOT a paid spokesperson for this Company.
It's easy to use. You can do it from the handset of your cordless phone or simply press the red button as the call comes in. It has a caller id. You can scroll through the calls that came in while you weren't home and if you'd like, you can block them with a simple press of the big red “Block” button on the unit. I have finally gotten peace and quiet.
When our home phone rings now, it's someone we know or want to talk too.
