Pleasant Valley Ranch produces some of the best organic oranges I've ever tasted. I've tried oranges from all over California, Florida and the Mediterranean, but nothing compares. I met the growers at Stanford where their oranges are supplied to the campus cafes. They told me their secret is allowing the oranges to ripen on the trees for a longer period, which produces an incredibly sweet and juicy fruit. They specialize in Valencia and Navel varieties and have one first place in the California State Fair. Must try!
