I preordered the Sona from Caeden in May. I knew it would be a while before I saw it. But they kept pushing it back. At first I felt like they were trying to be good to their customers because they were concerned about the quality of the components. Then I got the device. Clunkier than expected but it's new tech and that's sometimes to be expected.
Well the device never really did what it was supposed to. Some of the features were ok but the big one (heart rate variability) never worked for me. I experimented with how I was wearing it, how tight, etc. No luck. Then after a couple of months, it stopped working altogether.
Attempts to contact them have been touch and go. It seems like they don't have enough staff to keep up? And from their Facebook page, I'm not the only disgruntled customer. I am currently still trying to get my $ back from them.
I bought their in ear headphones because they were on the NYT gift list for 2015. I do like that product which is why they get two stars. I then pre-ordered the Sona - their attempt at an activity band. I purchased it in April for a release date of June. Since then, it has been repeatedly pushed back. With each e-mail promising it in the next few months and then receiving another e-mail pushing it back even more. Its now nearly December and no sign that I will get anything soon. Their customer service has about a 2 week lag time to respond. So ridiculous.
