C2 is worth your money if your child is already achieving a high score and you want the score to increase by a few more points (for example, go from 33 to 35 in ACT). Otherwise, you are better off with a private tutor who can provide a very personalized coaching improving on the weak areas. That’s my take on this after spending 100 hours. Carmen is amazing though. She is very patient and does an outstanding job scheduling the classes. She is the best!

C2 is great. However, there needs to be better communication with parents as to how the student is doing on a weekly basis. Is my child paying attention, is he doing his homework? Is he showing interest. This is a collaboration between parents and the tutor, without good communication my child may not reach his full potential

The test book practice has too many errors that will miss-lead the students in the wrong directions. You must have someone to revise the practice books by a very often manner.

Not for students who are already scoring high.

When joining they promise attention to every detail but after joining they don't care anymore. They have not even setup the parent conference for more than 2 months now despite several requests. Also they have not reviewed the test scores and guided the student in right direction.

I believe C2 can do lot better than what it is doing. For instance follow through after tests through a review process, identifying key areas of improvement and focusing on that. It is parent driven on what classes student should focus on versus having holistic assessment and working in more formal way

My child spent hours and hours at C2 and although his scores were near perfect on the practice exams, they were not reflected in the results of the actual SATs.
