Horrible weekend experience. Very rude bartenders who did not care to be there. Extremely over priced food and drink. Very basic accommodation. No towels or soap provided. The toilet would not flush properly. The door would not fully close. The room had a terrible smell before we arrived. No cleaning services. The other guests are loud and rude with no consideration for other people. Will never return to Butlins, Minehead.

Totally ageist applied for jobs got nowhere only get a job here if your foreign I've tried numerous times at different resorts I'm sia liscenced and they just say no all the time 20 years experience in security I worked for butlins in pwhelli for 6 years different then that was a camp not anymore you only get work if your not in this country

As always an amazing setup, great fun for the kids and to see so many happy faces is awesome. Customer service is great.

Stayed at butlins skegness for a weekend away. Room was dirty and wasn't cleaned to an high standard. Cleaners did not make beds or empty bins. Have lots of activities but if you ask anyone who works there they knew NOTHING! Very unorganised nothing to really say what was happening over the weekend. Every staff member I spoke too looked confused it was like I was asking someone who did not work for butlins. Always being told to ask someone else.
Room doors was broken and toilet seat broken but could not find anyone to tell. Very unhappy with are stay.

My daughters paid for a upgrade to a bungalow “ because of disability ‘ what a shock! No way would you call a a room with just a bed a bungalow! Disgusting for )180 for 3 nights . We stayed 2 because we were disgusted in how dirty THE Room was . And as for parking we couldn’t ! Never will I go to butlins Skegness ever again.😡

Came here in 2012 was lovely and clean with very friendly staff. Returned with my family for a short 3 day break. OMG terrible cannot understand how standards service & hygiene can fall so much.
Kitchen tap no hot water, splash pool filthy, stank of wee.
Staff rude and don't care if you raise a concern.
This place is a big disappointment.

I visit Butlins at Bognor twice a year for the 70s weekends. I absolutely love them. The value for money is unbelievable considering the accommodation and all the entertainment that you get. I originally stayed in an apartment which were basic but nothing to write home about. I now stay in one of the hotels and I can't fault them. They are spacious and clean and close to the entertainment venues. I have just booked my 7th weekend and for 2 of us sharing a room, we generally pay less than £220 (excluding food). This year the new pool was open, and it's very impressive. My only gripe is that it's not open for long enough. It was only open on the Saturday between 12-3 and the entertainment started at 1.30 so not enough time to spend in the pool.

Standard accommodation at the minehead resort is absolutely shocking. The windows are single panned, no child locks and you can here every bit of noise outside. Customer services are not helpful at all.

Went to Butlins Minehead with our friends, a total of 4 adults, 5 children and a baby.
Accomodation was clean and adequate, food was good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Facilities were great and we will definitely be back next year.

I would give zero stars if I could! Absolutely awful experience!! Butlins Skegness should be ashamed of them selfs! We pay £800 for 3 nights with dining an on the second night I get food poisoning an thrown out like criminals incase it’s a bug( certainly wasn’t I’m home after 2 days my partner an 3 kids are fine) we ate different things! Also blue plastic in the pancakes!! kicked out by security and wrist bands ripped off wrists it’s a disgrace!!!

What a bag of s**t got booking wrong, wanted more money, arrived on the Monday most things closed as it is change over day, well forgive me but my holiday starts when I arrive, go to order food and they have no bananas lol what a joke! Booked 60s waeek and the last act is mick jagger more like bungle of rainbow lol

Truly dreadful. Booked a break in february for november and they're now selling the rooms for £200 less than what we booked for. Called to see if they were prepared to offer reduction or even upgrade but they wouldn't budge. Shocking way to treat new customers. Never again!!

Arrived for our holiday all got food poisoning on the second day let the office know then they asked us to leave. Never again poor.

After reading a few negative reviews we where a little worried !
However wow what a wonderful amazing experience !
We had the premium dining package .. couldn’t fault the food it was tasty with lots of options and fresh food cooked whilst you waited !
The restaurant staff where so friendly and a extra special thank you to Brett and Katie who really made our dining time with 2 boys fantastic !
Brett entertained the boys and joked with us every day .., Katie was such a lovely lovely girl who my little 5 year old took a shine to she was a lot of fun !
The only reason we are giving a 4 star is because the heat was unbearable in the entertainment rooms and we had to leave by 9 because we just couldn’t breath ! Such s shame because the entertainment was fantastic !
Please invest in air con !! You’ve invested so much to make this a perfect holiday campus we would have spent s lot more time and money in the evening if you had air con !
The circus was absolutely amazing such fun my boys 5 + 10 loved it well worth the £4 !
All I’m all a fantastic experience !

Load of rubbish spent way to much time queuing ,only thing without ques was expensive and the only staff I spoke to was a waste of time. Will not be going again and will be advising others not to go there.

Never again! Spent £46 to go for the day, got there at 10.30 am left by 11.57 am. Very lucky to not be staying in the 'resort' judging by the other reviews.

Adult music weekends are amazing. Excellent value for money. Like-minded people all friendly. Spend so little time in the chalet as having way too much fun
I think if you did a star rating for family breaks separate the adult music weekends would get 5*

This place is hell! We are here at bognor at the moment but going to leave early. Tiny tiny accommodation is the seaside apartments and dont be fooled by the name it is not nicely by the seaside side. We r right by the main road with constant traffic and drunks walking by. Loo seat broken. No plugs in sinks. Blinds dont work. Bed is awful and feels like it is going to fall apart and is soooo creaky. We keep waking each other every time we move. Shower is a drip. Table and chair set is so unbelievably heavy u cant move ur kid in them to push them up to the table. The activities have so many time restrictions on them u can not even think about going with the flow here. Many of the tots activities are just 2 red coats singing nursery rhymes and it just has a different name... tots disco is a laugh... again 2 red coats singing nursery rhymes, no nice lights or nice music or anything like a disco. Soft play for toddlers... who designed thia. Thwy cant wvwn climb up the first section without an adult going up with them and its not easy if u r tall. Who designed it? Its rediculous. Pool has well limited days and times its open. Supermarket is just stocked with fizzy drinks and booze. Cant actually get a decent meal down the kids unless is sausage and chips. Car parking is miles away from the apartments and the spaces are rediculously tight u cant get 2 kids out of the car. I honestly have hated my time in here and want to go home. I write this at 3am as we cant sleep again due to the crap beds, drunken people walking past and car traffic. Go to centre parcs! I hate Butlins and absolutely do not recommend.

Butlins in Skegness is the best among the bests holiday ever. Great food, great music, fantastic pool, welcoming staff, lots of fun for all the family. Butlins skegness is excellent, splendid, I would give a billion stars if I can. I will surely go there every year ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Was ok if your staying for a few days. We stayed for a week but left two days early as the entertainment was re-showed after a few days. Food is very expensive, we went to one restaurant it was worse then hospital food no taste and cheap, drink choice is coffee,tea, water or juice but for the price of £17 per person. Big rip off!! The only good thing I can say is the rooms are nice and clean but was disappointing we didn't have a kitchen.

Just returned from Minehead a day early, as so disgusted with the place.Upgraded to silver on arrival but chalet had issues.Cooker was full of grease and shelves too.We had to wash everything before using them as greasy.The shower was filthy with mould and had a blocked drain,so shower lasted 15 seconds before giving up!!All clothes needed washing tonight on our return ,as they stunk of the musty damp wardrobes!! The worst break we have ever had.Reported to Customer Service before we left!!

Butlins skegness was an amazing stay. So much to do. Did premium dining. Food fantastic and so much variety. Staff were amazing. So helpful and polite. Apartment was clean and service fantastic. We stayed Aug 2019 and yes it was busy but you can still go on things and do stuff without major queues. I would recommend anyone with children to go there. Our son had so much fun and we were totally exhausted when we left. Would highly recommend. I'm sorry if anyone had a bad time but all I can do is praise the staff and security staff..

Really not happy just because we stay in the caravan at minehead we cnt pre book the food Hall as we got 3kids 2 with behaviour difficulties it would of saved goin to different places we go to butlins twice a year and spend loads there like people Iv seen there say that caravaner's get treated different to the ones who go with butlins athe end of day the carrvan still make's butlins money so cnt see why they are doing this mite book els where next year gone down hill

i have been to Butlins many times and I love it there is so much for the kids to do and us adults too so I do not under stand the negative comments on here. I want to go back next year with my grand children
