Manager of Crewe store moved on Dementia Charity tables celebrating World Alzheimers Day.He claimed we were undermining his store window.We had permission from the council but Ebenizer insisted on moving us.We then had to move to an area where a gale force wind was blowing.All our leaflets were scattered in the wind.
I would ask all the residents of Crewe to boycott Burtons. We were there for the people of Crewe but Scrooge could not give a damn about a million people in this country with this serious illness.
Shame on you manager man and shame on Burtons for employing such a heartless man

Bought the 2 piece light grey suit online & when it was delivered the trousers were dark grey. Took trousers back to store & was told that they already knew about the problem as it had happened recently to a wedding party and they had reported it. The lady was very apologetic & ordered me another pair for next day delivery, this arrived today and same dark grey trousers delivered. Checked the despatch note & the correct produce code has been ordered but a different one dispatched by the warehouse on both occasions. Contacted Customer Care Team & they told me that they would have to contact the warehouse and would get back to me but it may take 48hours. I explained the warehouse were already aware but apparently she had a procedure to follow. Why, as they have already been told about the problem by their staff, are they still taking orders which they can't fulfil and why hasn't anyone told the Customer Care Team so that they have the answer when people ring up. Very poor

Excellent service in east kilbride branch..came in for specific colour of tie for my partner..wasnt instore but lady serving sourced one online and had it delivered by 1pm next day which is a perfect colour. Collection was quick and pleasant as well..5 stars

Do not buy from Burton online. Have purchased items from them twice now and both times they messed up my order in the exact same way each time. They are incredibly bad. On the first order, i ordered a suit jacket and suit trousers but the trousers did not show up. In the second order, I ordered another suit jacket and trousers and the jacket did not show up. Not only that but the student discount I applied to the order did not actually apply to the order. After emailing them, they did not apply the discount even after them saying they would. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT ORDER FROM BURTON!

I recently had to obtain a suit for a wedding to match the groom but the actual suit was on low availability. However when dealing with the staff at the Mansfield branch I must say they were first class in their efforts and gong the extra mile. I had been to Birmingham branch and Nottingham and had no joy but the folks in Mansfield were excellent and even contacted the Tamworth Branch to get them to reserve a waistcoat for me to collect to go with the suit. I think the girls were Louise and Emma so please pass on my regards as the wedding is this weekend and they put they put the City stores to shame so well done Girls, Mark F

My husband ordered a pair of shoes and paid the £5.95 for next day delivery. After being told they were dispatched, we stayed in all day (we needed them to go on holiday the day after) but they didn't arrive. Using our joint email address I contacted customer services on 2nd september and was told I would receive a response the next working day. Yesterday (11th September) I finally received a response saying that despite it being a joint email account, providing the order number and using the email provided as the contact detail. They would only speak directly to my husband who now has to phone them at a direct cost to us. Absolutely appalling customer service and will not use again.

Whilst clearly you have dispatched my items within the agreed time, Yodel cannot stick to it. Use DPD or Royal Mail, even Hermes would be an improvement!!!!

Hired a suit for my son to wear to his prom and could not fault them at all, we were able to try the trousers and jacket first based on our measurements and then able to adjust our order accordingly.
Delivery and collections were arranged by them at no extra cost.
As ours was a last minute order we had to place the order online and then call customer service so they could override the delivery date, they could not have been more helpful and should we need to hire formal wear again, we will certainly consider the Burtons formal hire service first!

Ordered suit for a wedding upcoming. Delivery scheduled for longer than mentioned when actually ordering on their site. Standard delivery is upto 4 days, my delivery was scheduled for 7 days. When called they said "due to warehousing issues". when asked if we could change delivery they said this is not possible and entire order has to be cancelled, even though the order had not yet been dispatched.Went to order again straight away and they had removed the sale too so had to order full price. First and Last time ordering from here.

16 months ago, I purchased three pairs of shoes and added them to the others I had.
In the 16 months I've had them, two of the pair of shoes, have had the soles wear incredibly badly.
When I contacted Burton to complain, Burton didn't seemed too fussed and it came across that Burton thought that it was a reasonable length of time for the shoes to last.
In the last 16 months, the most I've wore the shoes is 2 months, because of them being rotated.
My advice would be, buy from Clarks and avoid Burton at ALL COSTS!!!!

I like the jeans, used the site for a online delivery to store once, ok. But today i went down to a store for something that was classed as in stock on their website, the staff had no clue about this item or why it would say in stock, all i got was rubbish about system update slow, showed me to some alternatives, pointless. Maybe i should of rung but the customer service was crap. W tf burton do u have the stock or not?

Do not order from Burtons, if you have any issues their customer service is a joke and will not help you at all.
Check out ASOS as they usually stock Burton items and actually value their customers.

I will not buy burton ever again. After buying a defective custom x board for over 700$ . I was told it will not be fixed or replaced because it is outside the warranty period. I will take my business to another company that stands behind its products. I will also be posting my experience with burton customer service online in as many places as I can to warn people of the expected service they will receive. I am truly disappointed in the burton company. I sent several emails to team leaders and burton guides and was replied with a "sorry, we just dont value your time or loyalty... it's all about the money."

Burton is the absolute worst for online orders both in UK and especially abroad. If you can order from elsewhere like ASOS, do avoid buying from Burton as ASOS often stock their product ranges.
We have spent almost 3 months trying to make multiple suit orders from Burtons for our wedding.
We have encountered numerous issues on check outs, had occasions where money was taken and no order went through, orders cancelled with no explanation, lost orders and money taken and not returned.
We have spent over £1000 with them and customer service treats you poorly.
We have now had to spend an extra £40 on international delivery out of our pockets because even though they advertise they can send deliveries abroad to our specified location, they have failed on both attempts with no explanation and as a result of the delay, certain sizes are out of stock and we have now had to order a different size and spend more money for a tailor to get it taken in.
Been in touch with customer service and they are not helpful at all.
Best to avoid if you have other options. Not worth the stress dealing with them.

Wouldn't recommend buying from Burton.
Bought sone chinos for work and in less than 2 months they were washed out and faded.
Showed pictures to customer services next to an unworn pair to highlight the colour differences and they then asked that i send them back at my own expense so they could "investigate".
Poor quality goods and poor quality customer service.

I ordered two blazers late on a Tuesday for next day delivery on the Thursday. As soon as I saw Yodel were the deliverer I braced myself. And, inevitably, the item wasn't delivered on Thursday. It didn't turn up on Friday either and I needed it for the weekend. The tracking finally updated late Friday saying that the item couldn't be delivered. I emailed Burton and didn't receive a reply. I sent them a message on Facebook and didn't receive a reply. I sent them a message on twitter and didn't receive a reply. I posted on Facebook and finally received a reply then after messaging them like they asked.. I didn't receive a reply.
I called their helpline and had to wait up to half an hour on two occasions to get through. However, once I got through the helpline team were helpful and refunded me in full.
Sadly, I'd never buy from this site again. My items never turned up and the customer service was abysmal.

I've been shoping at burton's mens seens I was 15 years old .
The service there is fantastic & very helpful & kind , there was all ways a big choice to choose from the colours style & sizes just everything that a man needed all the casual clothes down stairs & upstairs
Wow wedding suits & other suits for formal there was to much choice to pick from but now it's all changed for the worse the bring in women clothing down stairs & put the mens up stairs & no lifts.
Get rid of the women clothing put it back as it was just for mens clothing only

Really bad service... ordered a 3 piece tuxedo and never arrived on time so had to spend a fortune on a last minute hire suit. Online ordering system is a joke and so is their customer care hotline. “Computer says NO” kind of service!!!!
