Between The Sheets Reviews

I never said anything before, but decided to do so this time.

Between the Sheets would generally be a wonderful store, with lots of cool things and amazing sheets; however, a couple of years ago we purchased $500 sheets. They should have been as soft as other sheets that we purchased in the past with the same thread count, and when I asked the salesperson, he said after a few washes they would "soften up." He assured me they would be like our other sheets. They didn't. Sheets at this price should be the best quality and softest, but these were not.

Also, we purchased a nice clock for our guest bathroom. After we put a battery in, we saw that it never kept the correct time. When we tried to return it, they would not take it back, even though it didn't work! With a lot of hassle and talking, the same salesperson finally agreed to give us store credit. Again, for items that expensive, that is not a way to handle a customer.

With the availability of really high thread count sheets on the market today, and with the way the clock was poorly handled, I would not purchase anything from Between the Sheets again.

I have purchased items there that are very nice but the last set of sheets were not worth the expense. I could have found better at Macys for a fraction of the price.

Product is expensive such as bedsheets but the quality compared to similar products not up to par.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE the store, but the Italian sheets I purchased are very much a disappointment. I was advised to use their laundry soap, and I used a special linen soap that I already had...which could be part of the problem, but the sheets tend to be scratchy after the first wash. I researched and found that if I use diluted hair conditioner in the rinse cycle, it helps the fibers to lay flat and smooth, thus not scratchy. This helps. The fitted sheet is extremely deep and doesn't work well on my platform bed.

We've been shopping on and off at Between the Sheets since it opened over 25 years ago. The quality of the merchandise is great, however, the items are WAY over priced. The store is decorated beautifully. The employees are moderately friendly and helpful. They need to be trained in better customer service. The return policy sucks. Basically there is no return policy.

King pillow medium downy fill is too soft ... do not agree that it is "medium"
Ordered king size summer down comforter but you did not have a down cover that was the same size!
