Why very often in house with wifi the phones are automaticly turn from wifi to 4g and eating the mobile data ? Yesterday from my wife's phone they consumed 80% from mobile data only in house...I lost in the same way a lot of mobile data in 1 year using EE broadband equipment and services !!!
Who will pay back what they stolen ?
Or I will receive a disccount?
I believe that non of these.
I really believe that they will just take your money and mobile data even using wifi in your house...
Maybe is the area problem...but when I signed the contract they assured me that is very ok !!!! THEY LIED !!! Now they say the area coverage is not so good... but take my money giving headaches in change everything is about money, nobody cares if you can't use that service what they write about in contract....I regret deeply signing that contract with EE but will be the last !!!

The worst experience I have ever had with a company and I’m not even being dramatic. The customer service is shockingly poor for a start. They’ve billed me twice for the same month... I asked to raise a complaint and without my authorisation they closed it saying that I was satisfied? Have requested immediate payment of both of the bills they have imposed. To clarify my broadband went live on 9 October, on a plan for £30/m. I’m now being asked to pay £57.71 over two bills immediately... an absolute con of a company, please to everyone on this thread, report them to OFCOM. They shouldn’t be allowed to treat customers as poorly as they do. They lie about their charges and they lie about their service. Luckily I always screenshot and hold record of any agreements I make, so I shall be reporting this immediately. Absolutely disgusting company. Also the broadband I have (fibre plus) drops in and out. So even the actual service is appalling. A true scam. A shame considering I’ve had my mobile with them for almost two years and never actually had an issue (well until I got this broadband and since I’ve been having mobile issues too, what a shocker)

An absolutely dreadful service - started off fine but has gradually declined over the last 12 months to the point where internet regularly drops or stalls, download speed is around a quarter of the claimed minimum and now it has crashed completely after a storm and although they accept there is an external fault, it has been 24hrs and still no update or any way to track the status - still have 4 months to run on 18 month contract and can’t wait to get rid of it - oh and the landline also stopped working. This again was reported and they tried all the usual things like ‘is the phone plugged in’ and ‘have you damaged something’ which just made me even more angry - they finally accepted it was an outside fault (after I looked up the symptoms on the web and told them it was a problem in the local junction box) and got it fixed, only for it to go exactly the same way a month or so later. As we don’t really use the landline I couldn’t be bothered to go back through the tortuous process of reporting it again because even if fixed it will just go the same way - dreadful, awful and appalling all round. I would not recommend this service to anyone, ever

Just a joke cowboy outfit fleecing their customers like any scammer would. How the hell watchdog said they come out on top of customer service is also clearly faked. Checkout the big fat ZERO minimum speed guarantee. OFCOM clearly not fit for purpose either if some scammer can set up an ISP business with no guarantee you will get anything at all for your money!!!
1-2 Mb/s estimated download speed range
0 Mb/s minimum guaranteed speed
£20 a month for 18 months, then £32 a month
Boost your pay monthly mobile data allowance each month
Set-up fee of £10 applies

Internet broadband absolutely dire. I have been complaining for well over 6 months. Lucky if I get 1 mbps internet speeds. Spent hours on the phone to them whilst they just repeat the same tests over and over. Will be switching ASAP.

I am a new customer to EE broadband. Had lots of problems with fluctuating speed in the beginning.
Sometimes it is sad that it's not just EE to be blamed but BT engineers are responsible to making sure that the speed is tested and expected speed is attained.
In the beginning I was very sore and angry for not having appropriate speed and I suffered for a period of 18 days.
However it has been a month since inception of my last BT engineer's visit to my premises and I should say that my speed is now attained and restored to more than the expected speed promised by EE.
Further EE had compensated me for my lost time and delay I would personally advise to those who still suffer in respect of speed, is to contact the support service and have their probelm resolved.
As far as I am concern now, I am absolutely satisfied with the services of EE.

Took days to get the line "connected" now the router is plugged in it doesn't work. Probably an issue with the line. Why does this have to be a serial process that takes so long? The initial order was placed 28 October. It is now 7 November and still not working.
Update 1: 9/11. They have sent me txt saying my problem is being resolved but no sign of any actual action. They have sent me info on how they are going to bill me for a service they don't seem able to provide.

Dishonest, rude and unhelpful. Broadband very slow.

The UK's number 1 worst broadband provider.
Internet speeds are so laughable that you would probably be better of setting up a contraption with a hamster and hamster wheel for faster speeds.
Absolute scam pretty much and they never solve any issues.

The worst broadband I've ever had, do not waste your money or time - no matter how many times I contact they always give me some poor excuse and temporary solution to get me off the phone. I have been complaining for well over 6 months that my service is terrible, absolutely no connection upstairs and barely any downstairs right next to router. Done line test after line test to be told there is nothing wrong with my speed, nothing wrong with my line. Basically been told again and again that I'm lying and my service is completely normal - infant very good in the area. The solutions have been sitting on the phone for hours repeating line test, switching to different channels, reseting the wifi, making me buy a wifi extender and most recently a replacement router - which made absolutely no difference. I am being ignored and my complaints are constantly being pushed to the side, I am stuck in a contract which I am not receiving anything for what I am paying for. As soon as this awful contracts ends I will be sure to never return to EE and advise everyone not to aswell!

I upgraded my mobile phone and got talked into having EE broadband at home replacing my BT line. Huge mistake. EE was dead slow to the point where nobody in the house bothered using it. I rang tech support and for a while it seemed quicker but then back to being useless. I then went back to BT and the speed was much much better. Very odd considering that EE is owned by BT but clearly the infrastructure is different.

As a returning customer after a couple of years I have to say I am bitterly disappointed.
EE advertised 40 to 60 mbps, well where is it then??
All my speed tests bring bring back around 27mbsp, EE say a gurranteed speed of 30mbps well I'm not receving that am I so what is going to be done about?
Also they had the cheek to send me an email saying my speed is lower than expected givng me an faq (for dummys) guide on how/why this might be with ideas such as make sure you router is switched on correctly, is your phone line plugged in!!! Um yes of course it is, come on I'm not an fool, you know I have been a customer in the past and I left previously because there were non-stop problems with the line, looks like this is still the case.
Funny thing is with the minium gurranteed speed, where EE say it's 30mbsp, they are saying it's 30.5mbsp, funny that! Just happens to be .05 over the limited does it? Well what a joke.

Wish I was able to leave 0 stars! The Wi-Fi is shocking. After only being with EE for a few months and paying for super fast broadband I can't watch a tv programme on my Amazon firestick for longer than 5 minutes, use WhatsApp, send or receive emsils or listen to the radio on my Alexa as the Wi-Fi drops out every 5 minutes. Dispite numerous complaints nothing has been done to rectify this. I'm now changing suppliers as EE have also had the cheek to increase the price by £3.00 per month! I'm already paying for a service they are not providing.
I've spent most of today trying to watch the rest of an hour programme and I have to put up with this for another 2 weeks until my switch to SKY is complete.
I'm going to write to the ombudsman regarding all the money they have taken for a service they have not provided.
Steer well clear of EE for broadband/Wi-Fi!

I have been having issues with EE broadband with slow internet speed ever. Just called up to find out my contract end date and when I was asked for a reason, I mentioned the issues with speed. Without letting me explain he started justifying that I have a standard broadband and connect many devices blah blah. Not even a word of 'sorry to hear this'. Zero stars for customer service for sure.
I have used many other broadband companies all these years and not a heavy user. Never had speed problems. Now that I have looked at other reviews and wish I had read them before signing up.

There is a clause in your contract saying if you move house during the contract term, you need to sign a new 18 month contract.
Avoid these cowboys and their broadband. They've just conned me out of 4 months worth of money.
Ultimately, they've just bumped themselves though - as I'm moving my mobile contract that I've had with them for over 11 years to a different network, not that they care, scumbags.

I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up to this dire awful service.
Was formally with BT fibre, and the 5 yrs I had with them I never had one issue, was constantly reading 70Mb and never any downtime.
Now since moving to EE broadband, our connection when watching iplayer and netflix is constantly buffering, I often have to turn my wifi off on my phone just so that i can use mobile data instead.
needless to say I WILL be returning to BT once my contract has expired.

EE broadband is awful. We are a family of 5, we all have phones and stream films. Their broadband cannot deal with the usage. We told them at the time exactly what we use and were assured it would handle it. In hindsight we should have done more research. The TV box is so slow and freezes all the time. Can not wait to change provider

Great ... until you have a problem. I reported a fault on 27th May. Heard nothing back so called a week later. They sent a third party engineer from a firm called Cube who reported that he saw the same fluctuating line speed issue. Then heard nothing back so called a week later. They sent a BT engineer who "couldn't find any issue with the line" but swapped my Master Socket over anyway. After he'd left I discovered my internet was no longer working on an internal extension (it had previously been fine and used for home alarm). EE then tells me that internal extensions aren't their problem! Escalate to a complaint; am told I'll be looked after by a specialist team going forward. The only communication I've had since is when I call EE. I receive regular texts saying "we tried to call you, please call us", despite no record of any missed calls on either my mobile or landline. Ironically, when I call them and eventually get through to someone, I'm told that "the team that's looking after your fault/complaint don't take incoming calls so I can't pass you over to them". Frustrating beyond belief. For a comms company they sure can't communicate!

I wish I could have gone 0 stars !!!! Honestly please do NOT use EE for broadband it is a complete joke! Very very slow can’t stream anything cause of buffering and I live in a flat with plasterboard walls and the signal can’t travel through them so I can only access my WiFi from one room ! Tied into 18 month contract which really makes me angry ! Stead very clear !!!!!!

Best phone/broadband provider I have been with (I have experienced Talk Talk and BT as well). Reliable broadband at a good price. I have been with them since 2015 and I have the fiber broadband, TV and weekend calls package. Paying less now than I was in 2012 with BT for the same thing. Customer service excellent in the few times there has been a problem and whenever I want to renew. My elderly parents have had the same experience particularly when they have needed any help. A recommended company.

I have upgraded to fibre broadband in Feb 19 and still have not been swapped over. I have been left with no wifi at all on 3 occasions and have been promised connection on several occasions. EE have told me that the fibre will be connected at the end of this month but I have no confidence of this happening. I now have no phone line or wifi and this cannot be put right until 28.05.19 I do not expect much :-(
Rubbish service and have lost all hope in being re-connected!!!
