My experience with Bright Now has been very bad, and they make promises but don't do anything to address it. When I called two days before my appointment to confirm, it turns out they had lost the appointment I'd made two weeks before. They later said there'd been a problem with somebody gone on vacation. But then when we got there, there was a half hour wait (at 9 in the morning?)
Worst though was that they charged us nearly $700 more than they charged the insurance company. When I went to the office to discuss it, they said I had to talk to the office manager, who had just left. Left message; office manager did not call back. Insurance company confirmed for me the bill they'd been sent, and it was different from the receipt that I'd been given. When finally reached by phone, he said he'd address it - but never did. Since I'd already paid I've got no leverage with them. I would NOT recommend anyone use Bright Now and if you must, MAKE THEM BILL YOU and wait to see what they charge the insurance company.

Don't like the new spit sinks that I have to get up to use while sharing with another exam room. Just odd.

Overall went well, but was a little frustrated that after the hygienist found a deeper pocket in one of my gums, and that the dentist did not review my latest xray and did not see me at all after she was due to see me this visit.

I do not like going to the dentist but you guys are so great! Thank you for your compassion and understanding for those of us who have a fear of dentists since childhood.

I had to go for quite an extensive amount of dental work. Every time I went the entire staff was extremely friendly. Because of past history with dentists I am horrified of going. They made me feel very safe and welcome every time I came.

The office staff was very warm and friendly. Dr. Lucio and his assistant were very gentle. I was very impressed with the assistant and wish I could remember her name.

Two stars for a friendly staff/dentist and an on time appointment.
I was so excited before my appointment because I have Denti-cal now, hooray! And.... terrified because I hadn't been to the dentist in two years and didn't want to hear the results. The results weren't too bad. I had some pockets that needed "deep cleaning," but they were at the beginning stages and the majority were within healthy range. I had a little cavity and................. dun, dun, dun.......... one cavity so bad that I needed a root canal and crown.
I wait for a little bit (not too long in the world of Doctor's/Dentists visits) for the front staff to tell me what the work means financially. Unfortunately, I don't have money right now and the cost is over $2000 out of pocket, for the services not covered by my insurance (the deep cleaning, root canal and crown). I ask for a regular cleaning and the little cavity......what is covered by my insurance.
They tell me that they can't do the cleaning because it will "not do any good" because I need the deep cleaning. By that logic, it would not do any good for me to brush my teeth or floss, right? And by that logic, if I can't afford the deep cleaning, I should just stop all dental care.... obviously, a fallacy.
I let them know that I understand that I need the deep cleaning, but since it's unfortunately not an option, I'd like the regular cleaning. I'm sure the regular cleaning and fluoride would me a little good. It will at least scrape the plaque off the top of the teeth, like it does for everyone else who comes in every six months and help protect my other teeth. I think I was friendly, but also resolute.
Another person is sent in to talk to me, stating she was told that, "I didn't understand." She also was very nice and just said that it's a liability issue and that's why they can't do the cleaning when best practice necessitates more thorough cleaning. They were also unable to fill my small cavity because it may be ineffective if the deep cleaning isn't done.
Soooooo................. some good things happened. I found out the state my teeth are in right now. Not great! But, not bad as I might have feared because of my neglect.
But, I also wasn't taken care of. I'm not going to sue. I don't have the money to pay for dental care, I certainly don't have the money or energy to sue. But, I would have liked either to sign a waiver saying that I understood I was going against dental recommendations when getting a typical cleaning, rather than a deep cleaning (or whatever the technical term is) and that it would not solve the root problem (pun intended).
They also offered no other suggestions other than the typical and most costly options. Ex - if you can't pay for it right now, this is what you need to do. If you can't get a crown, your options and risks are _________. If you can't pay for all of it, I recommend that you start with ______ and then work up to that. Or prioritize......... this really need to be done right away or you can suffer from ______, _____ and _____. The other one is less urgent and you may be able to wait a month or two, but the risk is _______. I didn't receive any of that.
They also didn't offer me a payment plan or carecredit. Perhaps, they didn't because I so resolutely stated that I didn't have the money. But...... they also did not take an interest in helping.
Regardless, I got a babysitter for my two little children, drove down to the dentist, filled out all my forms and I didn't even get what my insurance covered. I understand it, but it stinks. It is also poor customer service. If they actually cared that I walked out of there with no dental help, they did not show it in any way or form. I didn't have the money, so I was showed the door.

Try to push most expensive treatments. Several of my friends were surprised that I go to you. They left because you charge too much.

Dr Navdeep Sandhu said he had little extra time on my appointment day & did I want all my fillings [ 5 ] done here on same day so I wouldn't have to come back for another appointment. I liked that. Also Dr. Sandhu and dental technician kept asking me through whole procedure was "I okay."

It was just a regular meeting, I asked for a cleaning. However, the doctor considered that I can't get a cleaning since I need a 1000 things before that.. I felt like they were looking for extra reasons on what to fix in my mouth.. the personnel assisting the doctor wasn't very polite, nor very gentle when doing the x-rays. For myself, this isn't a good dentistry. I will keep looking.
