Very very poor customer service.. Called 3 days in a row, waited 25-35 minutes each time.. I cannot believe it. And even after this long wait, the customer rep said he couldn’t help me because my machine was 4 days past the Warranty period ! 😮😮

I bought a breville milk cafe april 10 2019 and it worked great for about 3 months. I even posted on amazon how great it was. Then it stopped frothing in the way it was supposed to. I called breville and their service was great and sent me a new one. Well it worked great for a month. Now its back to doing the same thing it did when i returned it. So for the price 172$ its not worth it.really am disappointed because when it worked it was yielding great froth. Jane doiron from canada

Breville support website sends new support cases to a US site that doesn't accept Canadians. Calling the new case support line expects me to let an agent call me back at some unspecified date and time.
I try to avoid Breville when ever possible.

Breville Slow Pro Go. Broke after warranty was up. Breville will not fix my Slow Pro Go pressure cooker. Turned it on one day and it has an error message. No sounds, no explosion just chip failed. They should not make products that cannot be repaired. It's not even three years old. I was offered a small discount on buying a replacement. I did not take them up on this. Unacceptable customer service.

Where to begin. Probably the worst possible level of customer service and honesty!
I paid extra to have a parcel delivered to my HOUSE, instead Breville tell me that although I paid extra for home and next day delivery that I would have to pick it up from a parcel pickup location no where near my home! I then ask for a refund on delivery and they refuse a refund saying that it's my fault and that I requested the change in delivery yet they refuse to show me any proof. I then go back to them and they say they have cancelled my order completely and I have to wait 3 weeks for a refund. I only spent£10!!!
Absolutely ridiculous! What a horrendous company and the men and women in customer service at Breville are the worst people on this earth. Anyone who shops here is a fool and must be prepared for the worst possible experience !!

The toaster oven w air fry is not an easy thing to clean. I spend much time trying to keep it looking ok but getting fed up. I also after purchasing this unit and setting the item up to where i wanted it and giving my other toaster oven to a friend read the booklet to find out this carries a COULD CAUSE CANCER WARNING. I tried to get info on this from the company. Was given the run around so i joined the FaceBook group for this item. Well, after posting a web site that showed that non stick surfaces do cause cancers,...I than was banned from posting for awhile on that site since others were agreeing. The company is now saying it is the cord but I know better and they have not showed any proof to back it up. They make is sound like it is just in California where you can get cancer. What planet do they live on? When a company is not honest about the product then it is time to start spending your money else where. I shall post every where since they have tried to play to many games with me and I am now very upset.

Lousy customer service. Their ordering system has been down for at least two weeks now for 'maintenance' - embarrassing amount of time needed to maintain a website in 2019, for such a high end company they need to replace their entire IT team if this is the case. Been waiting on the phone now for 20 minutes, every 20 seconds while on hold, I get a prerecorded message telling me to press one to have a specialist call me back, it's so annoying I'm going to shop elsewhere.

Beware of using the Breville Pizzaiola Oven on quartz countertops.
I learned the hard way, and now my gorgeous, pristine white counter has an 8" crack. The oven operates at a very high heat. No indication in the manual that this could be an issue. First time I ran it, I heard a very loud crack, and thought the stone broke. But once it cooled down and I check, the stone was fine and I was perplexed. I used it again on New Years Eve, and when I went to clean up I found the crack right in front of the oven. It appears the heat that emanates when the door is opened caused the crack and the first time, it began underneath and then surfaced upon the second use.
I contacted Breville and while they are very nice, they refused to acknowledge this could be an issue. I did research after the fact, and it seems quartz can withstand heat of up to 150°F. While I have always loved Breville products, this lack of concern for their customers is very disappointing.
I love the oven and have purchased some heat resistant mats to set it upon, which I told Breville they should ship with the oven. It makes me sick to my stomach every time I see that crack, and makes me feel very bad about the Breville organization.

Breville Lift and Look toaster. Buyer Beware. This toaster looks great. After researching I thought I purchased a top quality product. However, it has NOT worked properly since the day it arrived. It malfunctions constantly where it locks so you’re unable to insert a piece of bread or bagel. You then hear a clicking noise and subsequently all the buttons are lite and they begin blinking. After pulling the cord from the electrical socket and letting it sit for days, upon plugging it in the toaster hasn’t reset so it unusable.Extremely disappointed and will never purchase another Breville product in the future.

I bought my Breville Espresso machine for $432 at Bed Bath and Beyond with one of their 20% off coupons. I have to admit, I was wondering if it would be money well spent, and so I left the store knowing I might have to return it. I absolutely LOVE my machine! It is by far the best purchase I have made in quite some time.
Once I figured out how to perfect my grind size, grind amount and filter basket, it’s been making amazing coffee ever since. They first day I used it, I drank WAY too much coffee trying to perfect my grind and stayed awake all night with palpitations. I highly recommend moderation😜 when learning to use this machine: Treat it like wine tasting.
I’m so happy to get rid of the Keurig and the expensive single use plastic K-cups. My only wish is that the top either be made of metal, or have some kind of rubber mat in place. I love this machine so much that I’m buying one for my sister for Christmas!
When buying this machine, invest in a bang box for used coffee grounds, and try to limit grounds from going down the drain because they clog up the pipes.
Second, NEVER put the filter baskets in the dishwasher! It will ruin them. And lastly, we use osmosis filtered water in our machine because of heavy deposits in our fresh Alaskan water. I've read a few reviews where people are commenting about their machine not functioning properly, such as running slow or small amounts of coffee coming out, and it's most likely because they need to descale. This is actually mentioned in the instructions, which are pretty easy to follow. They even provide a quick cheat sheet guide for trouble shooting and operation.

Customer service is terrible to say the least. My espresso machine is an excellent devise, but their customer service is worse than the cable companies and that's bad. It's amazing that they can build a great product and screw it up with NO service quality.

For all their expresso machines they have changed their water filter design to a proprietary filter they call ClaroSwiss which need to be changed every 3 months at 16 pounds a pop, making the machine a very costly appliance to operate at almost 60 pounds a year even though they're already a very expensive series of machines. The older charcoal filters were just 16 pounds a year for a box of six. No other expresso company does this and that is why I would encourage people to avoid this company and use another Espresso machine company as Sage machines are an expensive annual investment which doesn't include the cleaner tablets and other solutions needed to maintain it. If they ever decide to stop producing the ClaroSwiss filters, like they have with the older filters which are no longer available from them for machines that do use them, then you will have a machine that won't be able to run properly and will risk getting damaged. They're are better brands out there which offer cheaper cleaning methods that won't require you to spend your life throwing lots of money at it to kero it running. This change is a scam to squeeze more money out of people and to stop people using third party filters that are much cheaper. They are also much larger plastic devices which is terrible for the environment as they have to be thrown away. AVOID!

My sons bought me what I think was the first Breville Cafe Roma Espresso machine in 2003. It is still working well after 16 years. I have happily made Lattes just about every single day for myself and my husband since the day I received it. I just love it. I have told my sons that if it ever wears out I will go, on that very day, and buy another one. For a long time, I have been meaning to let Breville know how happy I am with it. Thank you, Breville, Shelley

This company is the worst, their customer service is a joke. I purchased a Breville grind control coffee maker, in November 2018.The machine worked up until about a week ago, I just replaced it with the same one that I had. When I called customer service, and was on hold for more than thirty minutes, she tried to trouble shot the issue with me, making weak coffee, and the water after level stays at the twelve cup mark. So she walked me through different steps that she though it could be. Didn't work, then goes on to make it sound like I did not know what I was doing, I told her I know the machine well, this was a replacement from my last one.
So now I have a machine that was purchased less than three months ago, spent $300.00 makes the worst coffee ever, and she proceeds to tell me I need a commercial cleaner that would sell for $14.00, but she will send to me at no charge.
So Iam like you are are sending express mail, "oh no we do not do that, it will be send regular mail". So I told her I have to wait more than a week for it, she yes depending on the mail. I then asked, what if it does not work, than I have to send a new machine back to them for repair.
So as I write this, I still do not have the cleaner, and I still have a machine that I can't use. I had to go out spend more money to buy a new machine that was half the price of this one, and even makes better grind coffee, I wish I would have bought this one in the first place.
Please don't buy there products cause they look good or expensive. This company does not care about there customers and there customer service it horrible.
I have emailed them a couple of times but have not gotten a response, and also tried to call, but again I don't have another thirty minutes to wait on the phone, or to have them call me back.
BAD COMPANY, stay away!!!!!
I intend to post on every site that will let me leave a review on them.

Non-existent customer service.
Purchased an espresso maker 8 years ago, worked great until the filter basket permanently clogged…now it's impossible to buy a replacement or even get a response from their phone number, email, or Facebook page.
So against my better judgment I bought a new Breville espresso maker. 2 weeks later the built-in grinder stops working. So I try calling the 1-855 number for Canada listed on their site to see if I can get it repaired or replaced under warranty. After choosing my options and listening to hold music for 2 minutes the phone system says my call cannot be delivered and hangs up on me. I tried calling 3 more times, and the same thing happened every time.
I was unable to find any other contact method on their website but this 1-855 number, and that always hangs up on me—so it seems I have no way to use my warranty. I did reach out to Breville Canada by sending messages via their Facebook page and Twitter, and still no response.
What's the point of having a 1-year warranty if you can't even reach someone to get any customer service? The clock is ticking on my warranty, and still nobody has replied to me. Breville Canada needs to fix their phone system ASAP, and start treating their customers properly.

If I could give 0 stars i would. Customer service is appalling to say the least. My 3d active blend and same issue again the plastic moving the blade becomes useless.
My blender is out of 12 months warranty but i used it about 5 times. Don't buy this product go somewhere else and save your money. How can a product break after 5 times use its almost new.
And there is no sympathy from those women who are incompetent sitting at the customer service desk. Clearly just like the brand.

Who can live without a microwave for more than a few days?
Do not buy any products from breville. Usual life span 6 months then garbage. DO NOT BUY THE QUICK TOUCH MICROWAVE.
Do not expect any customer service.

This is the 4th Breville 12 cup thermal coffee grinding pot that I have purchased. In less than 12 months this machine no longer grinds coffee. I keep it in excellent condition making sure the shoot is clean so that ground coffee can move as it is supposed to. I have considerable experience working with this model machine so it's not from lack of attention to its working order.
The service tech was un-empathetic asking me to go thru cleaning steps although I explained that it was just cleaned. They are now going to take my coffee pot back and I can expect it to be gone for about 3 weeks. I questioned what I was to do for 3 weeks without my $350 pot and he said that this was the normal time with shipping. Basically - my problem. I requested that they send me a new pot, since mine is still under warranty. answer - " no".
Run... do not buy this machine. I've leaned the hard way giving by them 4 chances!

Four months ago we spent $1497.00 on a Breville top of the line coffee machine. Even took out extended product care warranty at a further cost of $229.00. What a treat for ourselves - yeah right!!!!!!!!!!! Not so.
Could not produce a hot
cup of coffee - long black or otherwise - from the ever so fancy looking Breville The Barista Express BE880BSS. So after four frustrating months - reading and rereading instruction booklet, trialing heating cups, talking to others - letting other people try to make an acceptable long black - we went out to Harvey Norman's in Whakatane New Zealand - the retailer that sold us this "wonderful machine", with our concerns.
A trained staff member - who was not the person who sold us the machine - then spent considerable time making coffees and talking to the technician at Breville. End result, we were told that the machine produces coffee at a factory set heat that cannot be changed, and that the setting was at the optimun heat to produce a good coffee. IN THEIR OPINION.
Given that this very important point was not discussed or disclosed to us at the time of purchase, or a demonstration offered at the time of purchase, to say that we are gutted to find that we have spent this amount of money on a machine that is incapable of producing a hot cup of coffee would be putting it mildly.
Shame on you Breville for manufacturing and marketing something that
does not do what the consumer is led to believe it can do and for what it is being purchased for. Our advice to anyone looking at buying a coffee machine is ...ASK THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION - CAN IT MAKE A HOT CUP OF COFFEE? Ask for a demonstration and if that is not available - WALK AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over a dozen emails but only excuses.......checking address, post got returned, we'll send another and never did. Had to email CEO to get a response and even then, it was despatched three days later than promised and the email with tracking details never arrived.
It is all but false & misleading advertising. Only deliver if forced to.
Given this is how they treat their customers, I will never buy another Breville product.

Yes, After finally getting through to customer service, actually they called me back--inconvenient at best, it was explained to me why there are no independent repair people. Sending our product back to the company repair facility for a though going over, in their supplied packaging for a flat fee, while somewhat spendy, allowed us to have our beloved espresso machine replaced with a minimal amount of trouble, especially considering the initial expense and futile local repair attempts.
Breville support, while "crisp" and to the point, answered all my questions, and made suggestions to maintain equipment in good working order. While, as a business person for thirty plus years, I understand the importance of good/cheerful customer service, I know that it is possible, to abuse equipment without understanding what you are doing. It is tedious sometimes to explain repeatedly what may appear as obvious to company support, something confounding to the customer.
All in all, getting Breville products repaired is somewhat challenging, but we are pleased with the results. If the products we have did not give good results, we would not buy again nor attempt repair of the products we have. The company was more than fair with us. I can not allow my frustration over repair issues to prompt a downgrade of the company in general.

White glove service is a scam and you are coached to leave a review of the product when Tanya leaves your home. I didn't because I felt pressured and awkward . All she does is to butter you up then leave you free coffee bags and then your asked to review the machine ... This should be illegal. if you don't ....you get the feeling you will not be attended to when warranty time comes........... and it does come so be prepared. Very unreliable coffee and unreliable milk froth. Whenever there is a problem your told its the coffee always the coffee .....what a joke considering this is our third coffee machine we know how a coffee machine should work ""I'm telling you now its not the coffee"""". . Just a week before warranty is up the machine breaks down. We contacted Breville and they agree to pick up the machine for repair. The machine on the outside was 98% in good condition no dint's or scratches other than where you slide the cup even then you could not see them properly. A week later the machine is delivered we take it out of the box and notice large dint's on the back side edges small chips on our black enamel, the back water tray doesn't align properly and the machine still doesn't work properly with dint's . We contact Breville and the State manager say it impossible there could be damage after repairs end of story. How would you know... you weren't there ? Well i've got news for you....... why in the hell would i wast my time and make up a story. We have Family and friends that will confirm this and photos to prove the damage. "So I am asking you kindly to pick up the machine and provide me with a full refund.
According to consumer affairs
Section 54 goods must be of acceptable quality
To break down within two years and not repaired properly then add a sprinkle of dint's NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Please take the time to redeem yourselves and resolve this poor behavior.
