Do not trust Boxman. I had my stuff disappear in their storage(a TV, case and expensive vase all went missing) and now they are not answering e-mails or just saying they are looking and nothing is done at all!. I paid for 1.5 years and this is what they do. Disgusting service.

We have used Boxman for several years. Their collection and delivery are prompt and accurate and our boxes have come back in good condition just as they were stored. I wish it was easier to contact Boxman with small queries eg invoicing

They are thiefs. I doubt it this company even exist anymore, they’re probably bankrupt and now just a zombi company that trying to pay their debts by over charging remaining customers. Awful company with zero ethics. I have got my stuff returned after 2months requesting everyday (they still charged me during this time) and 4 months passed thanks god ive got my stuff back fine but they still charging my card and they keep doing it. Please avoid this company it’s overpriced anyway. One star is too much for them

Stay away. I am not able to re-collect my items. The systems says there's a problem with my account.They don't answer to the phone and it took ages to answer to the email.

I'm having the same issue as most ppl here. Money for final boxes delivery taken but no contact from them. It has been 10 days now. Cold someone post if at the end they managed to contact them/have some explanation? my boxes are not listed anymore on their website either.

They are dishonest. I have paid every month. They confirmed in writing they would return my items. They never arrived. Don't answer their phones and lie. Never do business with these people.

Customer service is non-existent. I paid for my stuff to be delivered back to me and it hasn’t turned up. Nobody answer the telephone at any time of the day. Slow e-mail replies.

Do not use this company to store anything. I foolishly trusted them with 4 cases in July and asked for them to be returned in December. They only delivered 2 back to me and claim to have lost the remaining cases. They do not answer their telephone and only respond to emails after several reminders. They eventually returned one of the cases Whig by this point was damaged the whereabouts of other remains a mystery.
I have not been compensated for the damaged case or the one that they claim was lost. They now refuse to communicate with me.
I can only strenuously advise that this company is avoided at all costs.

I'm not going to give them just one star because they did exactly what they promised to do: they picked up my stuff, stored it for seven months, and returned it all undamaged. However, as others have written, for much of that time they weren't answering the phone and they were barely replying to emails. If you're so uncommunicative that people online are speculating that you might have gone into liquidation – and you do absolutely nothing to give your paying customers peace of mind, even though in many cases you are in possession of their entire lives – then you definitely shouldn't be in the storage business.

They lost a piano. How they hell do you loose a piano?
Other breakages and losses. Communication has been painful - slow and unhelpful.
As per T&Cs they will not compensate us for the piano (or anything else) beyond £100. Do not use this company.

How would you feel if someone broke into you house and stole your belongings and furniture? Because that is exactly how your customers feel, Boxman!
I have been contacting, chasing, begging you since last September. 5 months! You left me 2 months in an empty house! You had ALL my clothes, ALL my shoes, ALL my kitchen/ bathroom/ bedroom stuff, my books/deco, bedframe, shelves etc EVERYTHING!
2 months with nothing because you decided that the shipment of my belongings was not your top priority.
8 months later I finally managed to get my desk back, the last missing item. It cost me 200 pounds to purchase that desk and Boxman charged me like 2 items for 15 months to store that desk. And now I understand why Boxman was so reluctant to ship it and why they were repeating the desk could be broken during the shipment; that's because they shipped it already broken.
Boxman broke my desk and shipped it like that, and they are happily washing their hands of any responsibility.
Boxman you are the worse, cheapest and less professional company I have ever dealt with.

I stored 6 boxes back in July 2017 and received them in early January 18. I received all my boxes. I though the service was very convenient for us as we don't have a car. The driver collected the boxes on time and I liked the fact that he sent me a text telling me he was on his way and I could track his journey.
I was very anxious after seeing all the negative reviews but relieved when I got all my boxes back. The driver was just 30 minutes late and he sent me a text and I could track his journey.
I would love to see this company doing well as it's a very convenient way to store stuff.

Do not use their services! I had to book delivery (2 hour slot) two weeks in advance and the driver was late for 5 hours! In addition, they say that they give refund for unused storage but this is not true! I sent tons of emails to them and did not get a reply. It is also impossible to reach them on the phone as they suggest to send an email to which they never respond.

Echoing the other reviews - this company is terrible at comms. Would give 0 stars if possible.
I managed to get my Box returned to me by doing the following:
1. As no one answers the phone during their office hours - call outside these and leave a message with your Box number and phone number. Do this at the end of the day and just before their office hours begin.
2. Send a message via their website and not your own email.
3. Call this number instead of their generic number - and again leave a message - 02034345695 - I got a call back within a few hours and my box was delivered a few hours later.
Suffice to say I will never recommend anyone uses this company in the future and if you have a Box with them - get it out as soon as you can to be on the safe side.

Boxman has ignored most of my calls and e-mails for the past two months when I've tried to contact them about a missing box they have never delivered.
When I requested a reimbursement for the items in the box they simply said I would have to wait until the box is found and then compensation can be discussed (**mind you these are valuables I urgently need and have purchased replacements for + have waited for 2 months and have yet to be told about a concrete resolution of this matter**)
I have multiple friends who have used their service and every single one of them has an issue of getting their boxes delivered or their boxes have gone missing.
STORE YOUR VALUABLES ELSEWHERE.

They have everything I own, including valuable and very sentimental things. I have to leave the country in a rush and seriously, my whole life is packed up with them.
They don't answer emails or the phone and I desperately need my stuff back. I'm very worried. Really bad experience and they need to change the 5 star trust pilot review brag they have on their website!

AT LEAST MR TURPIN HAD THE GRACE TO WEAR A MASK...
This company took my sons boxes and money all with no issue.
Getting it back... well that was a different issue.
1st attempt - only half his boxes were returned and no info as to when and where they others would appear. They said there was an issue with lots of stock getting lost somewhere out of London in a warehouse. 3 weeks later and 2 visits to them in person he still does not have everything. Sounds to me like there is a bit of theft going on here. There is a total lack of customer service and communication. No one answers the phone and email reply are not worth the time they take to send. If 'there is an issue and they are putting in extra hours to fix the problem', their words and not mine, it would have been better to have someone answering the phone and reassuring people that they will get their stuff back instead of a crap telephone recorded message.
To add insult to injury he was then charged a second time. When queried it they said it was for box retrieval - well hello..you are a storage facility of cause things are supposed to be return. I think something really dodgy is going on here. They need investigating by trading standards. Take my advice and avoid at all costs !

Something has gone seriously wrong with this company! They collected my things no problem. When I went to book a slot to have them dropped back, the next available slot was over a week away. Found that annoying but booked the slot. I waited in on the day and they didn't show up and they'd made no contact with me to notify that they weren't coming. Tried to call them but no answer and they're non-responsive on social media. Managed to get a reply by e-mail where they said due to logistical issues my delivery had to be pushed to the next day. I waited in for a second time only for them not to turn up AGAIN. They then said they wouldn't be coming and that no reason had been given by the operations team for this, and no indication of when I might see my belongings again. It all started so well but I would't trust them with my things again!

I’ve used boxman before and had no problems with it, this time however has been a completely different story. My boxes remained undelivered until I physically went to one of their warehouses and spoke to a representative. Getting the empty boxes collected has also been a mission and I recently got charged although I haven’t got anything in storage! Terribly dissappointed. There is no way I will be using this company again.

They’ve lost 2 out of 21 items I’ve stored with them. One has been missing for a month and a half and I continue to chase Boxman for updates and receive no response. On top of that, they still charged me the £5 retrieval fee for the missing box! I’m paying storage fees for boxes they may have lost. You’ll end up regretting your decision to store with them.

can't get through on either email or phone. no one came to deliver my boxes today and no word from them.
edit: they eventually came to deliver my boxes at the end of the day but really if you let people choose a slot they will expect you to come during that slot or at least tell them if you are not.
