Our family has relocated to the Roanoke, Virginia area. As await the completion of our home, we are staying in corporate housing.
There is a Boot Barn located about 100 yards from us. I went into the store and looked around. The store was merchandised well and I was really drawn to the jeans, vest and boots. As I stood in line, everything about my shopping experience, went down hill. There were 4 people behind the counter. It looked like they were struggling with placing a pair of boxed boots into a bag. One was trying and the other three were watching and I stood in line. I waited for about 5 minutes. One guy finally asked me if I needed any help. I explained to him about bringing my family over to look at his store. He looked at me as if I was bothering him. I then told them that once my family woke up, we would be back and confirmed their closing time. Before I left, I asked if they could sell me a roll of quarters. He again appeared that I was asking him to cure cancer Now, I have a problem with his attitude. He then asked the other 3 associates this extremely difficult question. They all looked up and did not know the answer to such a difficult question. I then decided to leave because it was clear they did not want my business.
After going back, we all got ready, went to eat and then to Tower Mall Wrangle store. We also went to the Valley View mall. My family spent over $2,800. It was amazing the courtesy and appreciation for our business that we felt. Your store does not even come close to our experience.
I then explained my experience with my wife and kid at your store. We are a black family and see this kind of treatment more and more. Instead of getting upset and yelling, BLACKS LIVES MATTER, I take my dollars to businesses that appreciate it. As a husband and Father, I take every opportunity to educate my kids on this EXTREMELY IMPORTANT issue in today's world.
Before I wrote this letter, I looked at the message that your website communicates. It was then my thoughts were confirmed. Your sr. Leadership and store personnel explains everything. The WHITE community is the audience you want. No problem, you can have it. We can always and will continue to support the businesses that appreciate all customers that walk through their doors. Their store personnel, managers and sr. Leadership and board of directors reflect it.

Ordered a pair of suede boots and inserts, a week later, a package arrives with the wrong brand, color, and size. When filling out the return request, I was informed that these could not be exchanged because the boots I ordered were out of stock and that I would have to print out the return label ( dont have access to a printer) and that there would be a "small" $10 shipping fee. Called to complain. Was told again that the boots I ordered were out of stock. Not being able to print a return label would not be an issue as they will gladly mail me one...(another week) and once they received the boots (another week) they would happily exchange them. I asked... with as much patience as I could muster... how they were going to exchange them for something that was out of stock? The reps answer was... so you just want a refund? I asked about the $10 shipping fee and was told that it would be waived. The rep was unapologetic, short, and overall unfriendly. The I don't really care attitude was the last straw for me. Will NEVER purchase anything from this company ever again, my advice... unless you have a bunch of money you would like to send them and let them hold onto for a month or more and enjoy being talked to in a very condensending manner throughout the process... skip this one. Attached is the tan suede boots I purchased. Not the brand, style, color, or size that I ordered

I live in UK and have bought from Boot Barn twice. The first time I ordered at the start of December 2 years ago and the delivery didn't arrive in time for Christmas. This time I ordered in October and the order was here a week later! On both occasions I ordered socks and work boots. First order items were dispatched separately and import tax was astronomical £20 for the socks and £57 on the boots. This time £37 for both. This has nothing to do with BootBarn but is something to be aware of. The boots and socks are EXCELLENT so good I was prepared to pay the massive import tax (which if it happened again I would question) hard wearing, good looking and comfortable. On both occasions customer service like the company was fast,efficient and friendly. I will continue to be a customer.

Just tried purchasing some western shirts on their website, it said the purchase was invalid 3 times! I then checked my bank account to see if it went through on there, and it charged my account 3 times! Yet, the website said the purchases weren't able to go through, why did it charge my account 3 times!?! Someone help!

Never received my order and a month later i get an email stating that my order was cancelled because the product was no longer available. Well it was available when I ordered it. Just not doing business with boot Barn ever again. I was starting to like shopping there but no more.

I made an order that said it could be shipped in 8 days (on the drop down menu) when adding the item to the cart. When I was ready to check out they allowed me the option to shut in less days and I went with 3-5 business days. Once my transaction went though they surprised me with telling me the the order will be delivered more than 2 weeks later. Once I contacted customer service to cancel my order they told me they will refund the money they charged me for immediate in 5-7 business days. What a joke.

My experience wasn't good. Nothing in stock of the only brand I was looking for even though their website showed many choices in the Roper brand. Customer service was like trying to pull teeth. Not my kind of place.

I was a little skeptical buying from this site due to the reviews on here, however I can't really complain.
I ordered my shoes June 29th, and received them July 5th! I would say those came pretty fast especially with how things have been through COVID.
Throughout the process I continually received messages from BootBarn telling me about my package and if there were changes.
I did have a problem receiving a messaging stating my package was Delivered' from UPS, but it wasn't at my place (and I contacted UPS directly with no answer, and contacted the driver and he didn't know what I was talking about). BUT I contacted BootBarn and got a message from them instantly stating there was confusion between UPS and BootBarn and that they it was actually delivered to the post office instead. They were very kind and apologized for the misleading messages.
Shoes that came in were in great condition, look just like the shoes on their site and fit true to size!

THE STORE OWNER ADVISED I CAN GO ONLINE ORDER THE STYLE OF BOOT I WAS LOOK FOR, SO I ORDER A PAIR BOOTS AND THEY SENT THE WRONG SIZE AND COLOR, SO I GO BACK TO BOOT BARN AS PRIOR ADVISED TO GET A REFUND AND HAD TO LEAVE MY BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY OPEN AT NOON DUE TO COVID 19, GOT MY REFUND ASK THE MANAGER FOR HER TO ORDER ME THE CORRECT BOOT AGAIN SHE WAS NOT SURE WHY THAT HAPPENED BECAUSE MY RECIPE SHOWED MY ORDER WAS RIGHT BUT THE BOOT. REPAID FOR THE BOOT AND I HAD NOT OBTAIN THE 1ST REFUND. I have about 6 pair of boots that I have purchased from Boot Barn. My latest online order I received & the boots didn't fit. I returned the boots & was charged $10.00 for making a shipping label. My paper, my ink, & my printer to make return shipping label. I will purchase my boots elsewhere from now on. Good bye Boot Barn.

I went into the Dickinson,ND store to pay my bill, mind you I have previously worked at this store. When I was talking to the manager about paying my bill the associate(Meghan) was standing behind him. He asked if I knew how much I was going to pay I said yes, gave him the amount and she says "Last of the big time spenders". NO employee should ever be that disrespectful of any customers whether they used to work there or not. That kind of behavior wasn't tolerated when I was there so why is it ok now? I may not spend a lot in there at this time of year but I do when it comes to Christmas. I will be changing that as of this year. Really disappointed in how things are going there. I liked my boss, he taught me a lot but this kind of behavior out of an employee is unacceptable at any store.

The one in Kodak Tennessee has a very rude sales lady named Rachel she was not willing to look around to find me a pair of 11 triple e boots said she just did not have the time. But a older sales lady named Jenny? Went and found me four pair of boots in the size that I was looking for. Then this younger lady which I think is the senior sales clerk she yelled at Jenny for helping me in front of other customers, I was very put off by this young lady Rachel you need to fire her and get her out of there before she runs off all your good sales people.

I placed an order for a Christmas present. When I placed the order, the free shipping would not have it on time so I upgraded shipping and was given a range ending 12/24/19. When I got my confirmation, the range shifted to end on 12/27/19 (this was after order was placed). When I called on 12/27/19 I was told 12/30/19. This is my first and last order from a company that cannot deliver and lies.

Boot Barn asked me to give them a review. The review wasn't bad but none the less they decided to reject it. If you ask for review then it's the buyers review and they don't get to choose unless they don't care. If they want Perfect reviews than they should write their own and say so and not waste the buyers time or their time and asking for it. I don't know what their purpose was but they definitely lost a customer who has bought twice from them. The price was competitive but clearly the customer service was very below-par!

I made an order 30 minutes ago and realized I purchased the same item twice. I tried to cancel one of the items, but was told the order had already been printed so there was nothing they could do. For one, I find it very hard to believe that you have already printed and began packing an order that was placed online 30 minutes ago. Two, what's it matter? If it hasn't left the facility, I should be able to cancel the order! What kind of customer service does that? Guess I will go back to using NRS and wait forever on my items. At least there customer service and return policy are great! No one I have delt with at NRS has been rude or lazy like Boot Barn customer service.

I ordered a shirt color green I re dived a shipping notice they shipped a red and black, so I ordered another one same thing this time I called lady said she cancelled the wrong one and was shipping the correct, again I had the same information red and black. Again I ordered a 3 shirt and again same thing happened. Called customer service representative told me she has seen this and to wait and I would probably get the correct short. Sure enough 3 days in a row I got a shirt and it was the correct color. So I took back 2 to the store to return them. Supposedly I was getting a refund for both the shirts, but my credit card only shows one credit I have called numerous times and still have nothing resolved. The last person names Marcie was rude and gave me the invoice number and told me to call my bank. Supposedly the funds were released to my bank a week ago, it nothing has showed up. While it is easy to do in store return, you have no informal and a customer service staff that lacks customer service. I presently have a pair of boots that I just got and due to the lack of service I am highly thinking of returning them and will never order another item from them online. This is all due to the customer service department. Too bad cute stuff. Please note with dealing on line orders and refunds are all email you get no paperwork ever and if you into your order history it doesn't show all your orders only the store can see them.

Save yourself a headache and buy from Ariat. These people will not take back their defective boots even if they are worn once. Your stuck with them. As you can see the bottoms are brand new, and the leather has already cracked away.
