THE WORLDS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
SO SPOTIFY WE'RE FRAUDULENTLY TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT ASSOCIATED WITH AN EMAIL I HAD NO AFFILIATION WITH AND WHEN REFUND WAS REQUESTED ADVISED I HAD TO GO THROUGH BOKU! I HAVE BEEN WAITING WELL OVER 3 MONTHS WITH FALSE PROMISES EVERY TIME FROM THESE BUNCH OF THIEVES! I AM ABSOLUTLEY OUTRAGED AT THE POOR LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE LET ALONE THE FACT THAT THEY STILL OWE ME MONEY! THEY DIDNT STRUGGLE TO TAKE THE MONEY WITHOUT MY CONSENT BUT HAVE EVERY EXCUSE UNDER THE SUN AS TO WHY THE PAYMENT MAY BE DELAYED!!! DISGUSTING!!! THEY ARE A THIRD PARTY COMPANY THAT WORK ON BEGALF OF MANY MOBILE APP CONSUMERS STAY CLEAR AND BE CAREFUL WHAT TICK BOXES YOU TICK OR JUST CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT COS THESE THIEVES TAKE IT WITHOUT CONSENT!!!!

tried boku after not using it for well over 4 months and was receiving the payment over limit error. Contacted vodafone who said everything is fine with my account and the payment for charge to bill should go through and its their problem.
Contacted them 3 times explaining I haven't used the service in many months. Kept replying with the same email (you are over your spend limit, try again later), even though I kept explaining I haven't used the service in a long while.
Utterly useless support, avoid at all costs.

The worst company in the world. When things are going fine it's okay but when you have to ask their customer service team something they are the worst company in the world. Absolutley clueless. Unbelievable

on two separate occasions a transaction has timed out but a partial charge £10 out of £13 was taken anyway. no ability to claim a refund as they are totally unhelpful. DO NOT USE this service.

They give you a measly £10 limit even though I have a high credit limit with Vodafone its like they are trying to parent you. I am an adult surely I can make my own financial decisions.

I was scammed by someone who hacked into an acquainted of mine's Insta. They took advantage of Boku. The thing is I tried to contact them they said their costumer service is open 9am-5pm (I think it was). the answering told me to hold to speak to someone who work at Boku's office. after like 30 second it says "thank you good bye"
People take advantage of Boku to scam people because they know it's impossible to contact Boku!!!
I recommend to stay away from Boku!!!

The most awful company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. In my effort to obtain a refund from them they requested a screenshot of either birth certificate / passport / health or insurance card / School ID in an effort to prove the age of the person who made the purchase. I am astounded that in 2018 companies can get away with asking for this kind of personal sensitive information for no real reason.
