Since last year I am using bob jane tyre service for my car's tyres . When I first went to Preston Bob jane they ask me to replace tyres and I notice tyre's air goes to 16 almost everyday .I went back they said you need to replace wheels too then I spend $1300 include new tyres and wheels . After few months steering is vibrating alot even on 30-40 speed i went back to them again and they are saying I need to replace all 4 tyres because they damaged . In 1 year I changed 2 times tyres and 1 time wheels and now they asking more money to replace all tyres .
I never had bad experience like this before .
Can anyone suggest me what action I can take against them because tyres are still under warranty .

I gave my car for tyre replacement at the Bob Jane T-Mart Frankston and pickup the car back in the afternoon. When I reach home I have notice car got a dent on the boot as soon as i went back to the store show damage. The guy said he will have to check the camera and told me not happened from their. I also checked the footage and it is clearly see their was no dent on the boot when i gave the car in the morning and they sad they don't have camera facing the carpark. It happened at the time car was with them but they are telling they don't know what happened. Now i have to pay from my pocket to fix the damage that happened in their premises. Everyone please make sure their is no damage when you pickup your vehicle form these guys.

Bought set of muddies at Bankstown branch as they were very good price.Been back every 10k for rotate and wheel alignment with no problem. But this time I noticed the car drifts to the left and I have to keep on steering to the right to keep the car straight.Took it back and the guy told me I should have expected those kind of problem on the muddies unless I change it to the A/t and that it costs him money to fix it..I just want to be nice and said please just have a check for me anyway.I watched as one of the guy took it for a drive for less then 5min then he call me out and said he fixed the steering but I asked him it did went to the left and he admit it and started to tell me I should take it to a steering specialist down the road to make it straight..Long story short...they didnt do it right and didnt want to know or fix the problem when it arises...To me that is bad service which drags the brand down...I wonder how he fixed the steering by taken the car for a drive for less then 5 min...I would expected them to put it back onto the hoist and check if it is really out of balance or align. Wil not be back there again....

This matter remains unresolved.
After my last communication on this site, the manager rang me and told me that in our previous call, I had agreed to go in to get a refund of the Jax Tyre charge. This was definitely NOT MY RECOLLECTION. His claim left me somewhat disappointed and compounded the gravity of their “Warped Wheels” claim.
I now question if his original advice to replace the tyres because they were scrubbing, was correct. Believing Bob Jane to be a reputable company I accepted their advice without question. The tyres had only done 20,000Km’s (mainly local mileage). The reason I went to Bob Jane was for a flat tyre repair.
I unwilling to go back to the Bob Jane Bondi Junction branch where they have my details. There should be no problem for them to send refund by mail to end this matter. I therefore wrote to Galina Grinberg, Bob Jane T-Marts Support Team making this request. I have received no response!
I also suggested that; more appropriately I should receive a refund of the full amount paid for the tyres. It is doubtful that there was anything wrong with my tyres in the first place. There was definitely no wheel wobble evident before going there. What was possibly needed at the time, if anything, was a wheel alignment which they did not offer. This was recommended by Jax Tyres to rectify Bob Jane’s workmanship; and it solved the problem.
What a saga!
Please refund my money.

I went to Bob Jane Bondi Junction to repair a flat tyre. They said my front tyres were scrubbing and told me I had to replace both front tyres and have a wheel alignment.
When I eventually got on to M5 the front of the car was vibrating badly at 100KPH. So, I took the car back and was told both front mag wheels were warped and the wheel alignment was OK. It wasn’t even raining! So I took my car to Jax Tyres and asked for a wheel alignment and balance, the problem disappeared.
I think Bob Jane should pay Jax’s $130 charge.

I went to the Southport workshop as my car kept pulling to the left and when I was driving on the highway around 80m/h a noise started to pick up from the rear left side.
After having a look at the tyres, the guys at the workshop told me I have to get wheel alingment and all the tyres rotated plus in regards to the noise from the rear, they told me that I have to buy a new set of tyres and it will fix the problem. (although the "old" tyres were about 80% good).
So I trusted their judgement and got everything done and when I picked up the car and drove away, all the problems were still remaining. Nothing had changed. I payed $320 for nothing.
When I went back 10 mins later they said, sorry we can't fix your car as it has something to do with factory settings/parts??
After a long argue, I managed to get back $59 for the alignment but that was it.
Why did I have to pay for new tyres and it didn't fix my problem?
I am so disappointed with the service they provided!

I went for my 12month tyre plan service at Mt Druitt, Have been going there since they opened that Franchise. Had 4 wheel balance two rear tyres good, Front left (outside 000grams inside 005grams) Front right ( outside 005, Inside 005).
Then was suppose to get Wheel Alignment. I couldn't because the Boss had parked his car on the wheel alignment machine and didn't leave a key for it to be moved. I had to go elsewhere to get alignment done. Guy in charge at the time tried to make me pay the full price, even though they couldn't do alignment. He did reduce price after I said I won't be back again.

My experience? When dealing with one of the major plays bob jane , you should no have any problems at all . But my instructions wheir easy , mover drives front wheel to passgers rear , and two tyres provided, to be put on front plus a wheel alignment , this vehicle had no white lettering face out on the tyres , what we got was No drives front to rear , that was thrown away , to tyres provided , white lettering out , wheel alignment had to be done a second time , so have to find another a/t tyre . Very pissed off

I took my Audi A5 convertible to south tweed heads with one flat Tyre. They replaced the tyre and came into the waiting room to tell me all 4 tyres needed to be replaced. My two front tyres were only two months old and had lots of tread and was shocked and when he took me out the inspect the tyres. Told me they had only 20 thousand kms left.... I didn’t mind when the employees were filming one another in my car. But to try and rip me off because of the car I owned. After watching there reactions from when they hoped in the car. They thought I was made of money and tried lying to me to make me replace all four tyres that didn’t need to be. I thought I could trust bob janes being a big company. But I will never make that mistake again. Looking back on it. The tyre I had just had a puncture and should of been repaired. But money hungry south tweed wanted to replace to maximise profits.

Twice bad experience with the Castle Hill branch. First episode was with charging the wife excessively for new tires despite pre arrangements and booking. They excused it as a „apprentice error“ but only after being confronted by the husband.
Today again a blatant cases of sexism. Wife calls up and asks for a price to have a tire plug put in to repair a screw damaged tire. She was quoted $40.
A day later I (husband) calls up speaking to the same person and got a $35 quote. To put them to the final test I booked the car in and dropped it off this morning and when finished ask the wife to pay for it. They charged her $40 instead of the agreed and booked $35. when prompted to why they change the amount they quietly changed the price back to $35.00. No excuse or a simple sorry was given.
Please be aware of this shocking practice by this people. Even better stay away from that business altogether.

Arrived late Saturday afternoon to Bob Jane Haberfield, expecting to book the car in for the following week. The tyres were in stock, the guys fitted them within 40 minutes and completed the alignment. Brilliant service. Oh and not to mention, the price was sensational, $100 per tyre cheaper than listed on their website.

Called the Southport franchise to book in our sons car the following week for new tyres and told them he only had $400 to spend and was told as it was end of financial year sales they had a few good options for him for that price. When our son arrived the next week he was told they don't have any tyres for $400 and they would have to get them in and it would take weeks. As it was his only day off work/uni he had to go ahead and have the cheapest tyres they had for $550, which really set him back financially. When he told us that afternoon we called the manager and was told they do have tyres for that price now, surprise surprise, and if he brings it back they will swap them, fulling knowing it was the only day he had available to have the tyres fitted and it was too late in the day to return it. We are so disappointed you took advantage of a teenager after we called to set everything up so that wouldn't happen. You have lost all our business of 5 cars and everyone else we can report your dishonest customer service to. This is an honest review and we have people who witnessed both calls who can verify what we have written to be true.

Wow what a surprise, I had a flat that needed fixing and after my husband had had wonderful service from the guys at Bob Jane Lawton we drove down to seek their help again....(30 minute drive) it was worth every minute. The guys were so helpful full of helpful hints and truly cared that my tyres were performing for me. I actually look forward to having all my tyres replaced by these guys as I know I’m in good hands ?thanks guys

The tyres and initial customer service was excellent. Just be prepared to spend an extra $50+ out of your own pocket when the centre caps in the wheels fall off while driving home because they haven’t been installed properly.

I was recently conned by the staff at Bob Jane, and this is how they pulled it off.
I went to Bob Jane Main North Road, Adelaide to get my car's tires checked. Following an inspection I was told that it would be best to get all 4 of my tires replaced. Since I was investing a fair bit for a full tire swap I also told the manager that my car's steering wheel was slightly misaligned with the front tires and whether they would be able to fix it? The manager told me that if I get a wheel alignment done for $65 that would fix it. It all seemed reasonable to me so I proceeded to choose the tires.
I was shown several tires among which lay the pair that had a manufacturing date of 2019 which I chose and went ahead with the purchase. As my car was handed over to the mechanics I was told that I could not enter the workshop as per their policy which sounded a bit odd to me but I did not think much of it.
Later on when my car was ready and I went to drive it off I realized why I was not allowed in the workshop all along. The tires that were put in my car were not the ones I was shown. The ones that were put in my car were manufactured in 2017 (and not 2019) so naturally I got concerned as the rubber is recommended to have a best before date of 5 years following its manufacture.
I walked to the branch manager and told him about my concern. He was well versed in this argument (probably from experience) and went on for a while not letting me get a single word in.
I gave up and walked off to my car. Having sat on the driver's seat I noticed something else, the steering wheel was still misaligned with the front tires. I got out from the car and discussed this with my mechanic, from whom I received another well versed mouthful about how a mainstream car like Nissan Patrol does not even have the mechanism to align the steering wheel with its front tires.
I had had enough by now and just wanted to get out of the place so I started my car and drove it off.
[EDIT]: I contacted the head office at Bob Jane and all I received was a long email with more well versed excuses such as... we showed you a different tire than the one we put in your car because the one we showed you was for display purposes only, but we did not intend to deceive you......we did not let you in the workshop due to health and safety reasons but we did not intend to deceive you......we did not fix your steering because our mechanics are not qualified in fixing Nissan cars but we did not intend to deceive you and so on...

Bob Jane Tyres in Devonport Tasmania. Simply the best service from the guys there. Shane (the owner) and Grant are very good at listening and suggesting the best deals and tyres that suit your car and pocket. I have been buying tyres and wheels there for many many years and have always marveled at their customer service skills and friendly approach. Every aspect of the service at Bob Jane Devonport is exemplary. I cannot recommend them more highly, so thank you very much to all at Bob Jane Devonport. Greg Boyd Wesley Vale.

Went to Bob Jane for a routine wheel alignment, absolutely no issues before hand.
Came out and upon driving the car at 95+ km/h, the steering wheel developed a vibration. Went back to the store and they said it was because my bushes were worn. Did not bother to mention it when the alignment was done.
Arranged to have all bushes replaced, problem remained. Was told it was the tyres, so replaced the tyres.
Then replaced all rotors.
The problem has not abated.
Whatever the *ickhead aligner did to my vehicle - it is stuffed.
Never ever will I use Bob Jane again, and I will continue to warn others on social media to steer clear of the business.
They take your cash and no responsibility nor care for the customer.
