THE WORST HOSTING COMPANY! DO NOT USE!
Ok so the nightmare happens in March 2019 when I purchased Unlimited Web Hosting for a customer consuming alot of data for emails. BIG MISTAKE CHOOSING BLUE HOST. So after they were so unhelpful via chat, I manually managed to migrate their Usernames and Passwords for emails by FTP which took.. AGES. Once migrated, we changed the nameservers; Great! This is when the nightmare continued.. So a week later, I'm getting emails from my client stating that they keep getting bounceback messages saying IP Blocked. After speaking with Bluehost via chat, by the way, they had NO idea about what they were talking about, I diagnosed the problems myself! IP Reputation of Bluehost.
After many many chat conversations; the other day i thought enough is enough and changed hosting providers. I called Bluehost today and they insisted that because I was on cPanel, it was WEBMAIL .. What a load of poop! Anyway, long story short is DO NOT TOUCH BLUEHOST WITH A BARGE POLE!!!! If you want your service constantly going down, Bluehost is the one!

Your business will suffer if you go with Bluehost Web Hosting.
Really bad support service, staff have no idea, they never take reasonability for there own actions despite breaking your website.
Very slow speeds, they always blame your configuration.
Suffered 2 year, now I'm with a super fast provider running the same website and its super fast.
Lots of email issues and blacklisting.

I had a really high opinion of them. Then I realised that they charge completely arbitrary "taxes" at sign up, not the 20% VAT. Be very careful to check the price you are paying, as it might be too much if you are in the UK. So far completely unhelpful / incompetent responses.

An utter garbage of a host. They lure you in with cheaper rates and then start taking your site down every couple of months, claiming they found some malware. Then they try selling their SiteLock. What a waste of time.

I dont recommend. Contacting them is diffiuclt and the person who is on the phone can not always help. I had problems getting the Microsoft email up. It kept giving me a techincal error and telling me to contact customer support but with no number or "who" to contact. Should I contact bluehost or microsoft. Well I disbuted the charge when it came due even though I thought i cancelled the reoccuring charge. Well after the 30 day free I was charge 4.99. since I never could get it to work, I diputed it. well they deactived my account for diputing a charge for a service that isnt required to have the account. Its not like I disputed the web hosting. It took days to get it back and I ended up paying 4.99 for a service I never recieved and 25.00 for a charge back fee.

Hosted with them for 6 months now. Around 2 months ago I started getting "website is down" notifications through Jetpack. After some digging I set up better reporting and found my website (including the cPanel for the server) has been down between 2 and 50 minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY over that period. Support have been useless. First attempt they told me to pay to upgrade or "forget about it and get on with my life". Since then the closest I've got to a resolution in "There's a known DNS issue. Our engineers are working to resolve it and it should be sorted imminently". 2 Months! Avoid like the plague

Stay away from every company owned by EIG (Endurance International Group)
They are a bunch of scammers and will take down your site one day. Go check on youtube about EIG
They are criminals

BlueHost consistently has technical issues that bring my WordPress website down. It feels like every 1-2 months there's a problem (I've been using them for 2 years and am in the process of switching to another hosting company).
For the first year I was with BlueHost, the free SSL certificate they gave me would expire every 2 months or so, which brought my website down (even though they kept telling me it would just auto-renew upon expiry).
For the second year I've been with BlueHost, my website has kept going down because they did not properly update the PHP version on their servers (and the issue keeps coming back once a month or so).
Also, once you log into BlueHost, their management panel is pretty outdated and has bad UX, which has led to difficulties in the past.

Bluehost.com ad is misleading. It says starting at $14.99/month discounted to $5.45/month I THOUGHT I paid the $5.45 but I was charged a total of $137.16 . I called and spoke to a "Derrick" at Bluehost and I told him that I was charged $137.16 instead of $5.45, and he said they don't do monthly, they charge for the whole year. I explained to him that the ad was misleading. Derrick said that "it showed the total amount right before it charged the card(I did Not see that because Derrick said it showed RIGHT ABOVE the payment info )." I canceled and now I have to wait 3 business days to get my money back. I am not happy with their policy.

I've used Bluehost for over 5 years on my Wordpress website. I've had a couple of times when my site has gone down due to installed plugin problems and couldn't figure out what to do. Each time they helped me fix the issue quickly. Highly recommended.

They owe me over $1000 for hosting fees that they did not provide and they will only refund 30 days. I have been overcharged for 15 years. Very corrupt company.

I am very disappointed with BlueHost Support service and the company ethics. Bluehost are advertising Hosting rate @ £2.43/ M with one year free Domain. However when you select the Basic plan which is advertised at £2.43, this rate totally disappear from the offer and instead different rates for 1year, 2 years and 36 months are offered to be selected- but none at the rate of £2.43. I understand that the discrepancy in rates will not bank corrupt anyone, but its unethicl trade and sure can't be legal. Its a deceit. Above all, their support service wasted a whole evening trying to resolve and then raised a ticket for me in the end. I received a shocking response from their Billing department saying that 'There is no more discount available' and the 'rates showing on web are the only rates available????? The whole issue is- The rate on the web offered is not being actualy offered! Its a con.

When a hosting company gives you 3 free months of hosting due to outages, latency, incompetence, it speaks volumes!!!
#BLUEHOST web hosting is by far one of the worst if not #1. I have been a customer with Bluehost for more than 13 years and this is what and how they treat a customer of this caliber.
Latency, excuses, 504 errors, and the list goes on and on and on. Again, why would they give me 3 months of free hosting? Exactly! They are just not the hosting company back in 2010. If you connect with anyone from the Philippines, hang up, they’re clueless and have no experience in web share account, VPS or dedicated. In fact, the support agent didn’t know my server OS, let me help you, it’s Centos.
If you are a #BlueHost customer, check out HostGator or InMotion.
Thank me tomorrow, not now….#bluehostfail

Bluehost has honestly been terrible. I tried for days to upload my Wordpress with no success. I kept contacting their online chat, however the agent would not help to resolve the issue, and the chat kept disconnecting.
I ended up asking the help of strangers on a Wordpress Facebook group and my issue was resolved in about 10 minutes!

One of the worst hosting services I have ever used! Their tech support sucks. The downtime is more than the up time!

slightly less useless than arvixe.com
Arvixe.com is easily the worst choice for webhosting in shared, vps, and bare metal.
Bluehost was tolerable years ago. Now it is an avoid avoid avoid.
Bluehost vps for email hosting is a no go if you want to be able to email anyone other than yourself. You will not be whitelisted by the giant 'free' webmail providers.
Need email hosting? Roll your own with Route 53, and EC2

Server is fast for the first weeks or so and it is getting worst and worst, tried to contact the customer support but no response, always show
Please wait for the next available agent
You will be connected to an agent within 10 minutes
Stay away, the speeds are so slow too, always blaming that your server cache is full, did not say about the hidden cost for the plan (can have around 3,000 Visitors per day or so)

I used to think bluehost was the best server. However, In the last 4 months, my two sites have been hacked three times, and my app has been deleted twice - all because I choose to go with bluehost, and they are not a secured network. I had to sign up to their hacking partner called Sitelock but even though im paying £70 per month for. site protection , my sites are still getting hacked. Service used to be really good. Now, I find it hard to contact anybody - my chat gets disconnected after 5 minutes and I cant' call because its an international number. im in London. there is no email address and no other way to contact them. my apps been down for 3 weeks now and nobody can do anything about it. Don't choose bluehost.

Bluehost is known for negative customer reviews and there server downtime is awful. I had site downtime for a week. Now all of a sudden my websites are down due to a Suspended Status. They are telling me I violated Terms. They are accussing me of allowing music streaming illegally. I have proof that this is a legit script I bought and I even have API Keys through both Spotify and You Tube that I obtained by appliying for them.

I have been a long time customer. Now I know its time to go. Impossible to manage with their level of incompetence. I suspect bluehost will be bankrupt fairly soon.
My sites often break on the SSL side of things for no good reason and bluehost do nothing about it. I suspect my sites live on a 3.5 inch floppy on a server from 1995 knowing how this company operates.
Avoid them! Don't even think about it. You'll regret it.

I am a novice blogger looking out to start a website. I searched things like "best host for starting a blog" where many bloggers wrote about using Bluehost- totally driven by receiving money for recommendation and it shows. I signed up, they took my money and then I had all of these technical difficulties! I couldn't login with a password, the token code they sent me wasnt working on the phone with customer service so I wasnt able to speak with anyone. I tried using the chat support but that crashed. Horrible experience, will be getting my money back ASAP and cancelling!

Bluehost appear to be running a scam! Two times in one year with two different web hosting sites i have twice been infected with a malware completely infecting my site and taking down my pages. When calling Bluehost support they transfer you to another company who then promise to clean your site for 300 dollars!! SCAM!! NEVER host with this people!

BlueHost is a scam site. Instead of taking a monthly payment as it said it would, it took 2 years of payments. Then it de-activated my account completely. I tried to call them and their number "could not be reached". I tried the chat, but it said that Firefox and Google Chrome users would have difficulty and to use another browser. I tried Internet Explorer and got through to the chat, but could not fill out the form to start the chat. I checked my email where there should have been an account confirmation, but there was no email. Then I smelled a rat and checked BlueHost Scams. I locked my card so they can't take the money from my account. DO NOT TOUCH BLUEHOST!!!

I had Bluehost for a few weeks, then they without any Warning deleted my account and locked my domän, luckely they paid back my money direct tool.
Contactting them, they told me that they deleted my account for no payment? I was a new costumer so that clearly was not the true.
Every time I contacted support they told me something different. Then I found out that my site was marked as Malware. I see others write that in their review, This is very odd
The problem now was that I did not have access to my account and therefor couldn't delete my site and use my backup
It took me about 3 weeks before I got my domain released wiht no usefull help from support.
It was very stressfull.
Sometimes my virus program marked their mails with virus, quit funny, that should have been a warning too.
Don't use Bluehost, I can't say that it is fraud, because I got my money back, but they don't know what they are doing anyways.
