I only received 3 shipments from Blue Apron. The last 2 shipments were not the meals I picked. In the 2 meals where I got kale, 1 had a dead grasshopper in it and the other had a dead beetle. I was constantly missing ingredients like garlic, tomato and olives. The food was not that fresh. The reason I tried this meal delivery was that everything was included, food would be fresh and I wouldn't have to go to the store. Personally, for me, the food and seasonings are not that great. Add to the fact that I didn't get the meals I picked and paid for. I cancelled my account since their resolution was to offer me $30 off future deliveries. I was very dissatisfied with their meals, delivery and business tactics.

Very disappointed with this service. They kept changing my delivery date from Tuesday to Friday, even after I complained.

Placed an order 6 WEEKS in advance and 5 DAYS prior, they canceled due to unforeseen reasons. UNACCEPTABLE.
I called their customer service and they knew nothing.

I received a meal prep order and it was missing many ingredients which made it very difficult to follow the recipe as they use complex ingredients not widely available. I contacted them through a website form and no one replied. I then contacted them through direct email and no one responded either. It's been over ten days! So disappointed with them. Once this new wave of customers goes away they'll need their loyal customers and my family will no longer be one of them. Terrible service!

5 weeks ago I tried cancelling my Blue Apron account. I was told an email with instructions on how to cancel would be sent. Today, I get an email saying my delivery is on it's way. I called customer service, my account shows that I did make the cancellation request but failed to follow the instructions to cancel. That was because I never got that email. Now, I'm stuck with two chicken order that have butternut squash and farro, two ingredients I don't care for plus I have to pay for this meal - unbelievable! Be weary when having to cancel from this company - they make it hard to so. I won't be back.

Don't fall for the "WW" (weight watchers) being a healthy choice for meals. I was shocked when I received my first order and looked at the nutritional page from the meals I got. Yes is has protein BUT
Beef Vegetable Stir Fry w vegetables=34g of carbs & 18 sugars per serving !
Italian Chicken & Vegetable Skillet w cheese=32g of carbs & 19 sugars per serving !
Mediterranean chickpea grain with carrots,carbs=101g of carbs per serving!!!!! & 22 sugars per serving!
I could eat 2 whole pizzas and a 2 liter of pepsi for that! What makes this WW? I called Blue Apron two different times and they were clueless and passed the buck to WW. I called WW and they were also clueless and told me to call Blue Apron. Seems they know how deceitful these recipes are and conveniently don't know anything. Event he supposed manager seemed even more clueless than the reps that answer the phones. I cancelled my subscription with them and will continue my orders with Hello Fresh. Their regular meals are way less than this company. Not "healthy" in any way and WW allows their name to be used?

Imagine waiting for the food you are planning to prepare and serve and it just never arrives...so very disappointing. After trying for the past few weeks trying to find out why this is happening, speaking to their new delivery service, Lazership, still no food!

I tried blue apron because I joined weight watchers. This program is awful. Every package that I’ve actually received are damaged or expired food. Other times I don’t even receive my box. I did not receive my last box and will be canceling my blue apron membership.

The food is good, but I had a shipment that was missing about half the ingredients and have emailed customer service, reviewed the specific order with comments and tried to submit the issue via the app (which did not work on multiple attempts) and have heard NOTHING back! Customer service is SO BAD!!!

Wanted to try something different. Have used Hello Fresh for years. First order with Blue Apron the fish was missing. Several orders had missing ingredients. One order was a day late. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.

While the food at Blue Apron is decent at best, I have had nothing short of a terrible time with the company. Their goal is to steal money from you however they can. In several of my orders there were ingredients missing, and to fix this they offered 5 dollar credit to the account. However, when you're missing half the meal this does not really add up to much when you are paying $60 dollars for the whole box. When trying to cancel the order, they put you through the ringer. Their terms say you cannot cancel the upcoming order (which they automatically process) if the package has already been processed or shipped. When I went to cancel, my upcoming shipment said "processing" which is not specified in their terms, so I thought I was in the clear. WRONG. Apparently, in the world Blue Apron lives in, processing means that it has already been processed. I have had several email chains and phone calls and no one will fix this. They are stealing money. End of story. I would not recommend Blue Apron to anyone.

Blue Apron should consider alternatives to how meals are packaged and shipped. There are too much packaging including plastic containers and bags which has no where to go, but into the environment. I cannot consider a relstionship with this company.

I received a delivery in late December on an expired credit card so I did not think it billed me but when I opened my credit card bill this weekend it was there. I called to get a refund and they refused. I spoke to three seperate people and no one would help me (except to give me another free box which I did not want since I called to cancel my account). They told me I would have to send in an email to have someone else "help" me. I have not been treated that badly in a long time....I guess customer service has no meaning to Blue Apron....I would not recommend them to anyone.

I cancelled my membership in sept.
They delivered a box to my old address yesterday. When I saw the delivery notice come through I called them immediately to let them know I had moved. I also asked for my account to not be charged. They said they would be charging my account.
I tried twice to get this resolved.
BUYES BEWARE.

I had to jump through hoops and pay 30 dollars to discontinue service having been a prior hello fresh customer I know their process was by far simpler and left me feeling like I would restart the service when ready I have no such feeling with your service!!

Hi, I dont usually write reviews but I was particularly dissatisfied with the service and product of blue apron. First I was not impressed with the menu or the food, I have seen much better. Second when the food comes it all together and you have to sort through it before you make anything. I shouldnt really complain about their lack of organization but having tried another company, it really does make a difference. On a final note, due to my lack of satisfaction with the company cancellation was also just as frustrating. Not only is cancellation not straight forward or easy but they actually charge you to cancel.

I received a free week from a friend. I signed up on Wed 6/27 and set the delivery to arrive on Fri 7/6. After I entered the payment information and proceeded, the date automatically change to Sat 6/30 (We are going away this weekend) and the system told me I had less than 20 minutes to change it. I tried everything and nothing worked. I even contacted the Blue Apron Help Center and still haven't gotten any response. Now it says the package is on the way and now we need to make accommodations for someone to come get the food so it doesn't spoil in the 90 degree heat. AND I was charged the full amount. FREE TRIAL MY ASS.

Didn’t know that after free trial was up I had to cancel my order was charged without my knowledge and I wasn’t able to get my money back and when I explained how it was an honest mistake not knowing it was going to automatically charge debit my account once promo expired I was be littled on the phone and customer service rep made me feel
Very dumb rather than being kind and understanding.
Blue apron doesn’t make it clear that you’ll get charged once free promo is up. Felt like I was ripped off

I did the free trial and was charged $13.99. That amount has not been refunded to my credit card and I did notify you of my cancellation of the meals within two days of trying the “free” one.

3 of the 5 deliveries I received were missing ingredients, twice affecting 2 of the 3 recipes for the week. One of the deliveries did not show up at all!!! When I contacted customer service I received a canned "we're so sorry" response and a credit for 1 of the 2 meals. The whole purpose of this concept is to make life easier for the subscriber by providing them with an all inclusive dinner. Great concept---- lousy execution.
Too bad, because the recipes that I did make, were very good. Stay away unless your are seeking weekly aggravation.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used a $30 promo for a $30 order. The total was $0. I emailed because the promo was not applied and $30 was taken from my account. I attached a screenshot. I requested a refund and the account cancelled. Customer service did not do either of these but instead sent me an email saying my total was $30. Today, another $60 was TAKEN from my account without authorization. I AM FURIOUS!! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! You have now charged me $90 for a freebie. This is ridiculous. I enjoyed the product. But, unless you process a full refund, I will actively tell everyone I meet not ever to use blue apron. My next step is to contact the BBB or the Arizona attorney general to investigate this.

If you haven't started the blue apron but thinking about it, you have to know this.
Your free first delivery is actually not free unless you cancel BEFORE you receive the first free one. Do you understand what I am saying?
OK, I received my first FREE delivery last Thursday, today is the following Monday so it has been 4 days including the weekend since my first free delivery. My credit card was charged $60 last Saturday from Blue Apron, so I call them to stop the second delivery until I have the chance to try out the first delivery I received. Guess what, I CAN'T. According to the supervisor, I was supposed to notify them to skip or cancel 6 days prior to the next delivery. How am I supposed to decide to skip a delivery or cancel the service when I have not even started the first trial meal they sent me???
So, here's a lesson. When you order your first free delivery, make sure to cancel or skip even before you receive your first delivery unless you know for sure you want to continue receive products from them.

Their products and service are excellent. But I have tried over and over to cancel them and they don't make it easy. I found a link tonight and got it done and they charged me $35. I find that ridiculous. Pretty sure they don't tell u that up front.
