Buyer Beware-I need to cut down the size of the blind (from 34" to 30"). They will not cut it (will void the warranty). They will not provide the manufacturer or another party to cut it. My option was to buy a new one at my own expense or throw it out (too expensive to throw out a custom solar shade) no refund. You have 30 days. Exact measurement is with their consultant. Good luck finding someone who measures for them in your area (there wasn't anyone in my location). Nevermind the website indicates that the SUREFIT Measurement Guarantee is separate from their Satisfaction Guarantee, but they treat it the same. I am very angry and will NEVER BUY FROM BLINDS.COM AGAIN!!

This is a follow up to previous review. Since posting here a few weeks ago, the company has reached out to me and has rectified the situation. My special thank you to Robin who diligently followed up on my past order. She has credited my owed balance for ordered shutters to the original cost as stated on blinds.com website and has looked into the ordering protocol on the website. I have one more window to cover with shutters and will be ordering from this company again. Thank you for looking into this matter.

Bought some blinds for my back door but sadly they dont roll up efficiently, always goes to one side and now the borders are broken. I wanted to return them but a couple of agents including [email protected] are not answering emails anymore.

Terrible experience with Blinds.com customer service. I was told when we paid for blinds installation that the blinds could be delivered to the installer's address which was a potential good back up for us. We decided to use the address of the home we are closing escrow on instead. Well, due to current lock down in place in California due to Coronavirus our closing date has now been delayed for at least 2 weeks. I called blinds.com to ask them to change the shipping address of our blinds delivery to the installer's address and I was told no that that was not allowed, even though I was told it was allowed when initially ordered the blinds. I then asked if blinds.com could delay delivery of the blinds until we actually moved into our new home and I was told no, once the blinds were made they would be shipped our immediately and there was no way to put our blinds delivery on hold, we had to accept delivery. Really! So now I am being forced to accept delivery to an address I do not actually live at yet, due to no fault of my own, and blinds.com does not care and will not work with me. I am already stressed out with moving and now blinds.com is adding even more stress to my move.
I truly regret ordering my blinds from blinds.com. Please be aware that blinds.com will NOT allow you to make changes to your delivery address and will force you to accept delivery even if you do not have the ability to do so.
Shameful business not willing to assist a customer. You have been warned and should think twice about ordering from blinds.com especially if you are unable to take delivery immediately.

I have finally feel I have reached the pinnacle of decorating my home. I was speaking with CAROL, who was a joy. I had so many plans underway. Unfortunately, the sure fit promise failed. My blinds arrived measuring incorrectly. I was hoping to see them make up the difference. Unfortunately, the installation charge was added back to my order, and a $400 balance was presented. So disappointed.

We wanted their "Professional Measure and Install Made Easy service for $199. After no one called, I called blinds.com customer service and they told me that they "escalated" it and that the installer would call. After 3 days with no one calling I cancelled my order and asked for a refund, which would be issued after 5-business days.

Wish I could give them zero stars! I have 2 six year old cellular shades on my French doors that have never worked correctly and have been getting worse. Called, online chatted and emailed customer service and they basically state that shades are not expected to last longer than 3 year warranty. Whaaaaaaat!?!? I paid almost double for the top down bottom up cordless option and the mechanism has never worked correctly in one and is malfunctioning in the other shade. So contacted them hoping to get parts to fix and they said we can send them in (very expensive) to be repaired or contact third party for parts. Yes, we waited too long to bring up the issue, but in fairness, life happened and it was too minor to address at the time. We still think. Company should stand behind their product when it fails. We fully expected to pay for parts as it is clearly past the 3 years however, they should make a product that and stand behind that product longer than 3 years. Who spends that kind of money on window treatments thinking they will have to do it again in 3 years?

However, we made a $5500 order on Jun 11 and have received nothing but excuses by Jul 17. Now due their ETA is mid August. Unacceptable.

I placed my order on August 1st and got it very late, a month later. My delivery date was supposed to be August 15. I called and they said there was confusion with my order but they will now make my order a priority. I was irritated but I was going to let it go. Now, when I finally receive my blinds, THEY ARE NOT EVEN THE ONES I ORDERED! I ordered light filtering, and these are definitely NOT. I also ordered XL Single Cell Crisp Pleat 1 1/4" and the cells on these are very small. The only thing they got right was the color, and I asked for white rails instead of the standard beige which they did do. I'm extremely frustrated I have already waited a long time to get these, and now they're not at all what I ordered. I don't even want to send them back because I don't have time to wait another month. I have a business to run as an interior designer and I will not be ordering from this company for my clients ever again. $400 later and I'm extremely disappointed.

After the installation, I went to use the Roman shade and I thought I was insane. The pull cord was actually on the outside of the shade, making it extremely inconvenient to access (the shade has horizontal metal rods inside). After asking customer service about it, they made me sent pictures three separate times to the "Asian" manufacturer, who then replied that it is made that way to hide the cord. This is the most RIDICULOUS design I could ever imagine, and I caution you to think twice about using this company. They outsource everything to Asia just to save money and we get inferior products. Btw, Home Depot owns Blinds.com. Time to shop at Lowe's.

It's now entering my third month that I am waiting for my blinds to be correctly measured and installed.
They were super friendly and efficient when i first called them to sent a guy over to measure up my windows.
He arrived measured them, and when blinds.com contacted me soon after for blind selection. After going through the measurements with my rep. I realized that measurements on all but 2 windows were wrong. I let it slide and agreed that I would wait for the correct blinds to be installed and have the installer remeasure the windows again. An appointment was made, I took a day off work especially to be home when the installer got there only to be called that day and told that he couldn't make it and wanted to reschedule. A day wasted for me.
They rescheduled for 1 week later and installed the 2 blinds that were correctly measured. The other windows were remeasured. I contacted blinds.com this past weekend for blind selection only to be told that the new measurements had not been received. I am looking to get this damn job done. From my first contact with then till now it's going on since mid. JUNE. I have called customer support who assured me that they would sort it out. Nothing is done. Still waiting,

Worst experience with a company EVER! We've had at least 20+ interactions with them over one purchase back in June and now its October. It's too long of a list to list out but every ridiculous thing that could happen, happened. Not sending the correct samples, sending multiple installation times for one day, then cancelling installations, taking and sending in the wrong measurements, not ordering the correct items, 2 weeks to get the blinds delivered and then a min of 2 weeks to get them installed, didnt order all the blinds they measured for, unable to complete the installation when they finally come, not coming back for over another month, still dont have the right parts, not ordering parts when they said they did (on MULTIPLE occasions), not following up, always saying they will handle it and NEVER do, and wanting us to call them repeatedly to fix things. We are at the point that we are done! We dont have all our items solely due to their inadequacies but we would rather reinvest the money, time and energy with a new company than try and be made whole with this one.

I've been ordering online from companies for years... maybe a few issues here or there, but mostly great experiences. The lack of customer service and delivery from this company has clearly been the worst. After ordering sunroom blinds - we waited and waited for delivery. Checking online, we found they "left the company on June 3"... but 21 days later we still didn't have the product (mind you, Blinds.com had our money). We called and were told that the blinds were at at freight company and we would to contact the company for delivery. We called the company (again - shouldn't this be the responsibility of the company with whom we placed the order... why do I have to call independent shipping companies)? At any rate, after numerous messages, we never heard back from the freight company. Finally - after more than 10 days, I was able to speak with someone who said "we didn't have your phone number !?! They then indicated that they would not be able to deliver blinds for at least another 14 days to my area. ??? We scheduled a delivery and nope - no blinds.... ! Blinds.com won't help with this and the freight company hasn't delivered. Ridiculous. Needless to say, we will not purchase from this company again. I will say, the poor guy at customer service who was at the receiving end of my wrath did try to help - but the COMPANY is responsible and failed to provide him the tools he needed to be successful in helping with customers.

You'll wait 2 to 3 weeks to get someone to measure , then you wait another two weeks for the blinds , and then you'll wait another 2 to 3 weeks to get them installed because they are so backed up . Poor operations process . I haven't even had them installed yet and I'm already less than delighted.

The blinds fell down after one month, so they would not return my money because it was past the return date. Willing to replace, but why bother getting a replacement because they will only break again! These are very cheap and you should stay far away!

I purchased a vertical blind for my 14 foot slider through Blinds.com. The first one was a Levolor. When it came in I was very disappointed in the size of the rail that holds the verticals up. It was half the size of my current blind I am replacing, the pull chains and rope where also inferior to my current Graber blind I purchased 20 years ago at home depot. When I received the 1st blind I called to complain because it didn't close tight in the middle leaving a gap. I was also disappointed with the quality as expressed above. They were very nice and offered to send me a new one from Bali which gave an option to pay more for a heavier rail. Well I waited again and received an even more inferior product. The rail was even smaller as were the chains and rope to turn and pull the blinds. When I called to complain I was told there would be no refund. I'm out $500 and still have to order a new blind from Home Depot. I just thought it would be nice to order on line and not have to go to the store. Please don't waste your time and money on this company. The reason they can send you a replacement for free is their products are so cheap.

I had 9 roller shades made for my floor to ceiling windows. After going with the professionals measuring guide my shades are 4" too short! Blinds.com's offer to fix this is 4 roller shades made for free and 5 we have to pay for with 20% off lol. Screw this company! Bunch of scam artists preying on people. Manager says she'll call back and 6 days later nothing! You wouldn't believe the incompetent emails I've received... you've been warned.

Its totally understandable to have issues with a product or service associated with a consumer transaction. But Blinds.com left me scratching my head as to the level of amateur level of handling my issues. When 2 of my 5 blinds wouldn't retract straight, they instructed me to take the blind apart and add a piece of scotch tape to the roller. So, I found myself making repairs to a brand new product. Needless to say, they still raise crooked....stopping them from raising as high as I'd like for them to. It takes multiple attempts, when pulling down, to get them to lock into position. And even after they do, they have a tendency to fly up on their own out of the blue scaring the $#*! out of everybody in the room.
Blinds.com uses a deadline (very premature) to get any issues rectified or else you're on your own. That in itself tells me that they aren't concerned with helping customers with their issues....There should be no deadline....for a product that's less than a month old.
Like a lot of internet based companies, blinds.com is nothing more than a drop-ship company in that they have a nice website, they take your order, have kids overseas make them and then ship them to unsuspecting customers. You are not getting a quality product from a quality company!

We are a first time buyer with this company. Their house brand blinds we received were not the same size as what we ordered (too narrow) and stuck out to far from our windows. The website does a poor job explaining this. Just got off the phone with them and they only exchanged 4 out of our 6 blinds we purchased. Had to purchase 2 more. Be careful because they have very complicated and hard to understand return policies. We will not use them again.

Tried to order shutters for a month, sent numerous emails with measurements, left voicemails with salesman asking if they received my pics and lnfo and I would like to order, never would return calls or emails so I went with a local company. If their customer service is this bad with prospective buyers I can only imagine how bad it would be AFTER they get your money!

I ordered a drapes one month ago (over $1000)and received the product before the shipment day. When I install the drapes and found out the product is made incorrectly. Suppose there are 12 carriers on the track and 12 carriers on the drapes to match. However, there are only 10 carriers on the track. So there are 2 carriers on the drapes can't attach to the track. So I call to customer and they asked me to email them some photos, promise to get back to me in 2 days. But after 2 days no response. I called again to explain the story over again to a different person, email photos twice. Next I ask if I can speak to on-site manager. None can take my call. So I left my contact. Next day one of the managers call me back and explain the situation again. Send photos the third time. This manager said i can't get full refund even the product is made incorrectly. She needs to reach out to manufacturer and promise to resolve this by the end of the business day. After I show her the first couple of pictures. She demands for more pictures. So I email her more pictures and never get back to me again! Just like to share the overall experience with any potential buyer online. Don't waste your time and money on something is absolutely worth zero in term of product quality and after sales service. It will be my first time to take legal action to deal with this retail company. NOT SATISFIED!
