I put an item in my cart right before going to lunch but when I came back to finish the purchase, they had raised the price $500. I called customer service. The person who took the call was very nice and offered a discount off the new $500 higher price but they would not honor the price from an hour ago, which is still being displayed on Google ads as I write this. Talk about bait and switch...

I just wasted 40 minutes of my time to order something. Had to call customer service. At that moment I decided not to purchase and I am glad I didn't. The online ordering was horrendous. The shipping address and the account was a mess. They had Wayfair information on orders and addresses integrated with the new Birch Lane Account.

I ordered a $1000 couch that never arrived. After getting a 10% discount for the hassle I then ordered a $500 chair that NEVER ARRIVED. If this can't get any better I received a 20% discount and ordered a $250 chair that was such a POS the screws literally wouldn't align with the pre drilled hole. Returned.
WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY BIRCH LANE AND PARENT COMPANY, WAYFAIR ARE.
Wayfair is currently getting sued for allegedly and knowingly selling beds with bed bugs. Meanwhile an alleged securities fraud lawsuit as well. sums these people up perfectly. SCAM

I received a 20% off email from Birchlane and, as I am about to be purchasing a lot of things for a new home, I got pretty excited. I scrolled through all their products and found them to have a very thorough and varied product inventory. I easily found what I wanted and needed for my new home and had a long list of products in my shopping cart. However, when I went to check out and use the 20% off coupon code, not one single thing in my cart "qualified" for the discount. I went back to the email they sent to read the fine print and it did indicate the 20% off was on some sale items. However, they do not indicate WHICH sale items. Some of the items in my cart were, indeed, on sale but yet did not qualify for the discount. I found that both deceitful and frustrating, as I had spent a long, long time shopping on the site and formulating my shopping cart. So, while I love their products, be sure to not fall into the trap of the discount sales!
