I have been taking my motorbikes there for a couple of year now. MOT usually carried out by Brian, a very knowledgeable and friendly chap. Always had excellent service from this garage and I would recommend it to other bikers

Booked both my wife’s car and my own car in for there MOTs, excellent customer service from everyone involved. Have been using Binley Woods service centre for the last 5 years for MOTs and have always had the same level of customer service. I have previously recommended family and friends and will continue to do so.

I normally take my car straight to the dealers for services. Thought I'd shop around this year and came across Binley Woods Service Centre. Really good reviews on the whole, and their major service was within my budget, so I chose to book my car in with these guys for the first time.
Definitely worth the punt! They'd serviced my car within the day as expected and sent a video link to have everything explained. This was useful, especially because I know veeeeeery little about cars, so visuals of splitting tyres and popped out front arms was useful! And it helped to know that they weren't making things up over the phone to make an extra few quid for fake jobs.
Turned out my car needed quite a bit of work doing on it... had to sit down to hear how much it was going to cost me! But Dominic very clearly explained what needed doing, and even said some advisories don't need immediate attention, which was great because, again, it showed they weren't out to make an extra few bob! I often feel intimidated in garages full of male mechanics knowing more than I do about cars - often worries me I'm being sold things I don't need! I didn't feel like that at all here. But it might have helped that I'd previously been advised and come across some of the jobs that needed doing, so had a vague idea of what they were on about!
I chose to go ahead with all the fixes after my dad said their quote sounded about right for the amount of work! Due to the amount of work, the service and the extra works spanned over 2 days, which was fine for me and understandable.
Without waffling even more, overall, I've had a really good positive experience and will most likely be going to them again for future MOTs, services etc. I'd recommend to a friend 😁
Also- Caroline, the lady on reception was super helpful and amazed she didn't tell me to bugger off after ringing her a few times to make sure I was booked in for the right service and extra bits that needed looking at!

Great customer service and very accommodating.
Because I'm not organised i failed to plan for my cars MOT. It was the day of expiry when i called Binley Woods service centre at around closing time. To my suprise the phone was answered and i was asked to drop the car off in the morning as i could be fitted in around other (prebooked) work. I dropped the car off around 9:30 and itnwas ready for collection by 12:30! Brilliant!

Not the best experience.
I put out request for 2 jobs to be done on my car via the website Who Can Fix My Car.
Cam belt and water pump.
Inspect and possibly replace heater fan motor and resistor.
Binley Woods came back with a reasonable quote for the Cam belt/ Water pump job so I gave them a call to book in. I mentioned on the phone that I needed both jobs doing and was told by the lady on the phone that they can’t quote for the heater motor without inspecting first. This would be done free of charge when it was in for the cam belt, and someone would call me, let me know what the issue was and provided I was happy with the quote, get that fixed too and should all be done within the day.
Booked in for Monday, so I dropped the car off Sunday afternoon to ensure they had it first thing Monday and could get straight on it. Received a service video via text at around 1130am Monday showing the cam belt being done...... excellent I thought, end of video the guy stated, just need to look at your heater further, someone will call you shortly. I didn’t hear anything for the rest of the day, until 1630 when I received a message saying car ready to pick up.
That’s strange I thought.... no one rang me to let me know about the heater motor.
I called the garage and asked what was happening with the heater? Had it been looked at or fixed only to be told it needed looking at further and I would be charged £54 for them just to look at it.
Needed it doing so said ok, can I leave the car with you another day and someone check it and call me ( Tuesday) and let me know the issue and cost with a view to fix.
Lady on the phone yes that would be fine.
Tuesday..... waited all day for a call, by 1600 was getting concerned that I hadn’t heard anything so rang. Was told unfortunately they had an issue with another vehicle being stuck on the ramp, so no one had looked at it..... would I mind if it spilled over into weds. She promises it will be looked at first thing. Needed it doing so said yes ok.
Wednesday...... not heard a thing by 1300, so decided to call. After going away to check, the lady came back to me and said basically we can’t do it, we think it needs an auto electrician to diagnose and we don’t have one he left. So no call to tell me.... and to be honest It’s a really simple job, check and fit a motor.... I’ve had it done before.
So basically, could have had the back Monday.
On top of that..... I intended to pay using the Payment Assist service, which splits the bill into 4.... advertised all over reception and on the website. Only to be told, no you can’t.. you have to apply for it before.
That’s not true.... used Payment Assist many times.
To top it all off, car was parked facing a wall when I picked it up...... was handed the keys got in and drove to a retail park to get a few bits. When I got there I noticed the bonnet was still unlatched, and also the coolant had not been fully topped up and was only just visible in the reservoir, well below minimum level. I had to buy more and top it up before I could drive it home.
So a lot of time wasted... faf.... and to be honest not sure they were being 100% straight with me. Not the best service..... however cam belt and water pump seem fine.
