Compared to other reviewers, I seem to have had a relatively okay experience. My biggest complaint is with their processing time, which at 6 days in my case, is egregiously slow for an e-commerce company in 2018. I reached out to the customer service at one point to check the status of my order and received a timely assurance that the item would ship the next day (which it did).
As for the merchandise itself—a pair of Persols—despite sitting ever so wobbly on the countertop, they appear in every respect to be authentic. eBay has published an excellent guide on spotting fake designer frames, and after running my new glasses against every check they recommend, I can confidently say I was not sold fake eyewear.

Would rate ZERO if I could. Submitted an order for Versace VE 2181 sunglasses on March 20th as their website said they were in stock. I immediately got a reply that they were out of stock and it could take "up to two weeks to get back in stock. I asked for an update on March 31st, and again on April 2nd. No reply to either emails. I tried calling and there is no way to get hold of a live person. Emailed them to cancel my order. They better not try and charge me.

In spite of the bad reviews, I decided to go ahead and order from them because usually, my previous experiences ordering from other skeptical online retailers are good. Also, the website I usually order from no longer sold this particular frame I wanted so I ordered at my own risk. Their customer service is horrible; when you call, you can never reach anyone. It says, "sorry we cannot connect your call." and when you send an email to customer service, they take DAYS to respond. Also, it seems that I didnt get a response from them until I filed a fraud claim through my bank. I ordered my glasses on March 17th and JUST received them today, April 2. I received a certificate of authenticy and checked the code through Versace's authenticity website. They are authentic. I am moreso happy overall, but I feel that if I had not filed a fraud claim, I might have been scammed. a 50/50 experience. Shop at your own risk.

DO NOT ORDER FROM BETTEREYEWEAR.COM IT IS A FAKE SITE. There is never any answer when calling their customer service line. The money was debited from my account right away and almost a month later their site still shows my order as processing. Ridiculous.. take your money elsewhere.. it's a SCAM!

I should have read the reviews before I ordered. They took the money out of my account but is saying it didn't go through. I don't even know how this company is still in business with this many poor reviews. I'm currently doing a dispute with my bank now. With all of these issues, I'm willing to contact a lawyer to do a class action lawsuit against them. No one is answering my calls or emails. Absolutely ridiculous!

I’ll say this I saw a pair of glasses I’d wanted for 150 less than any other sight! At all the department stores near me the glasses were sold out. When I googled them online better eyewear sight popped up with the glasses 150 less then anyone else. So I hurried and ordered. Everything seemed legit I got my confirmation then I thought to myself how’s this place able to send them so cheap they must be fake or this is a ripoff. I googled the better eyewear and read the most horrible reviews. I was like holy crap. Anyway a day later I got an email saying the glasses were on backorder. I thought here comes the bs. I replied to the email asking for a full refund then about 2hrs later I got an email saying the order shipped I thought this was so I couldn’t cancel online. Anyway I got my glasses and the where perfect and 100% authentic I know because I have others in a different color. I jumped online to write this review because no one ever writes a review when things are perfect. And with all these negative reviews I just knew I was getting ripped off but I didn’t I got my glasses in less than a week and they are PERFECT!!

There is NO customer service, NO ONE ever answers the phone, and you rarely get an email response!!! Instead of stressing myself out I just went ahead and disputed the charge and got a my whole refund! I will never order from them again and neither should you.... Definitely a lesson learned! .........POOR BUSINESS......... I rate them a ZERO!!!!

I ordered a pair of frames only. No lenses. My PayPal account was immediately charged but, I did not receive order confirmation. I tried to call many times but, all I could get was a recorded message. After sending several emails, I got a response that they were out of stock for the frame I ordered. They eventually sent an email stating that the frames were no longer available. That was not true. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A FRAUD. What I believe is true is that they make their profit off of the lenses and did not want to sell me frames only. Further, I suspect that they are not a USA company. STAY AWAY

I bought designer glasses frames with prescription lenses. Received the order a month after, and turns out frames are fake. The quality of the frames are significantly cheap than the ones in store. Dont trust their shop guarantee insurance, you file a claim and then nothing happens. No one answers the phone call. A deceitful website with horrible service. I should've read more review before placing any order.

I wish I had read this before I placed an order for a pair of glasses yesterday. What kind of web based eyewear company sends ALL CALLS to voicemail?!? I have reached out to them through many calls, emails, have filled out the online form to cancel my order and reached out to them through their social media pages with no response other than they are “forwarding my message to customer service.” Their auto prompt voice recording claims they are the number 1 trusted company for designer frames, ha!!! It didn’t take them long to charge my cc. Do not buy from them, they are expert con artists!!!! I will be disputing.

Ordered a pair of Gucci glasses on BetterEyewear, because even with my insurance, the same pair of frames would cost me more at my local optometrist. So i'd figure I get the frames elsewhere and this website came up, when I typed in the serial number model into the Google search bar. Any-who, the price of the glasses I was wanting were to good to be true! Plus an extra 10% off for Valentines. There was no way I was going to pass up this offer. Placed the order, got the confirmation. Couple hours later, got the same email, saying it's on back order from the manufacturer. I emailed them back saying, it was ok, and they ensured me priority shipping. 2 weeks later, no email, no shipping info. I emailed them back. They said they still hadn't received it. Then 1 week later, I tried calling their 800 Number and no response. That's when I took to reviews, and I saw all similar responses. I was thinking, damn they took my money. I ended up emailing them back asking where is the shipment, they said it would ship out no later than Monday 03-20-2018, this was on 3-15-2018 and when I did get tracking, it never updated me on its location. Well on 3-19-2018 I actually checked the tracking and it said delivered! I got home that day and there was a package in my mailbox. Opened it up, and the glasses came non broken, in pristine condition. With a case and a dust bag and cleaning cloth. So in the end the quality was really good, yet they do kinda suck in the communications department. I ordered the glasses on 2-18-2018 and finally got them a month later, 3-19-2018.

Ordered glasses, came late, rude staff. Tried to return them, git the return order form approved. My glasses were tracked and have arrived there weeks ago, they said they refunded me but no payment ever made it through. $300 down the drain. Now not answering my emails.

actually if you score a zero star it would be appropriate... I caution anyone even thinking about ordering from these scammers to realize you probably are just throwing away your money. We ordered a pair of glasses paid for them with our credit card...we received a confirmation response and then we did not receive any status report, shipping report ..nothing....we emailed them to no avail, we called them to no avail so we stopped payment on the order after three weeks. We then got a shipping notice that my glasses were on their way. A package arrived and in it were a pair of FENDI womens glasses..uhhh our order was for a pair of nike mens glasses. My wife called and once again got no response.
Lesson learned...we are reporting them to the BBB also...

I would like to give 0 star if possible. Ordered a pair of sun glasses almost two month ago and since the color I want is out of order so requested to send me the same style but different color. While I am writing this review I still have not received my sun glasses and worse yet no one ever reply the emails I sent and no one answers the 1-800 number either, not even after you left a voice message. I requested to get a refund but of course no response so far. Will never use this company ever again, price seems low but you won't receive your product after you paid.

I ordered glasses. They took my money and never sent the glasses. While waiting the did finally respond to an e-mail stating 10 day from order to ship. Ten days went by and they never shipped it. This company is nothing but a rip off.

Ordered three pairs of glasses on one order and they only sent one set. The problem is they never answer my calls or emails over this matter. Extremely poor service and a wast of my time. Now I have filed a dispute with my credit card. Stay away this is not a legitimate vendor.

I ordered glasses from Bettereyewear, unfortunately the day after completing the transaction, I received an email saying the glasses were out of stock. Four weeks later after only receiving one communication, I went to my local eyewear store and purchased the same glasses.... the price was higher but at least I have them. I would never try to purchase from that site again.

Well what can I say ! Not much . I ordered glasses not once but two diffrent times only to be emailed back that they have none in stock . Yet the glasses are listed still on the website. Not happy at all with this online store. After this week long process and still no frames I guess it's still best to go physically to an eyeglass store and get my glasses . Might be more money but at least I can get the product. LESSON LEARNED!!!

I really wish I would have read these reviews before ordering my frames because it seems my experience mirrors most of yours. I really wish I could give 0 stars. I originally ordered my frames 2/28/18 and paid the additional amount for priority shipping. I received an order confirmation but no shipping information. When I'd heard nothing from them after one full week, I called and spoke with TIFFANY 3/7/18. After being kept on hold for six minutes, she came back to say the manufacturer would ship the frames to them to arrive Friday, 3/9 and I would receive them Monday, 3/12 since I'd paid for priority. I asked why the manufacturer couldn't ship directly to me and she said they had no way of doing that (buuuuut they could ship to them? O...K...). So when I received nothing yesterday (3/12) by noon, I began calling them. Even though it was during their business hours, it kept rolling over to the "leave a voice mail" message. I didn't leave a voice mail because I wanted to speak with someone. I called, no kidding, a total of 23 times between noon and 5pm - never an answer. I pushed 3 for orders, I pushed 0 for an operator and no one answered. Today, 3/13, I started calling at 10am, still getting the same message to leave a voice mail with my order number. After my SIXTH time calling at noon, I pushed 0 and TIFFANY answered again. She left me on hold for 11 minutes and 23 seconds and finally came back to say she was still on hold with the manufacturer and would I mind holding a bit longer. I told her to cancel my order and I promptly received an order cancelation email. That was the most PROMPT customer service I received during this transaction.
My next stop is to post this with the BBB.

I wish I would have done some investigating before ordering. Ordered 1 pair of glasses over a month ago and still no product but they were quick to take my money. WORST customer service. Every time I call, they never answer and the 1 time I did get a hold of someone, they said my frames were on backorder. I changed the frame, they sent a corrected invoice and then I have heard nothing. I have left countless messages but nothing. Don't waste your money or your time on this SCAM of a company!!
