They do not stock what they sell or even have them. Its all a bait and switch company. They have no customer service .. go ahead and try and call them 1-800-393-0569 , any ext, any time , sales or customer service , never an answer. Email them and they respond 24 hours with we will look into it .
The glasses I ordered they no long have , a week later it is still listed on the site as available. Maybe they need to update the site every one in a while

Scammers like this company are getting very sophisticated. Because today social media becomes your ally, they have set up accounts in all them with tons of followers, BUT, there is no feedback in any of their posts, not in Twitter, not in Facebook and Instagram has, what I suspect, paid followers.
I order a pair of glasses, I got an email almost immediately sayin they were not in stock, I called, they said they may be available in two weeks, I got an email saying they were shipped, the tracking number says the label was issued but not sent yet. They don't answer phone. This is a very sophisticated scam online page!

I paid for a pair of Gucci glasses for my daughter and once they took my money off my card no answer
I purchased a pair of Gucci glasses of these guys site and I paid in full of my debit card and once they took my money off my card they sent me a bogus email stating that they don’t have them and they’ll get back to be in 2-5 days still to this day I have not heard or received any of my money back and they have a bogus call center after two min on hold they hang up.

If they were the last place on earth to buy glasses I would demand a recount! Ordered and payed for prescription glasses, $600 in May. Waited 3 months for them to be delivered July. The prescription was incorrect. Sent them back, did not here from them for 2 months. Called them in September , and I was told they would have them in 2 weeks. At the end of October ( 4 weeks later) I still had no glasses. I spoke with several people over the next month. Still no glasses. I was then told that they had not received the glasses and there was nothing they could do! This was December 8 months $600 they should be shut down. Poorly organized,dishonest lying scammers. Never ever have I been taken for $600 by anyone. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS

I looked at the reviews before I ordered, and I thought maybe my order will be fine. Nope. I ordered 12/22, waited the "processing" time frame for my items to ship, never shipped. I emailed them and they said they needed me to send a copy of the debit card I used to make sure it was the billing was the same as my shipping address?? Did that. No response after that. Waited and emailed AGAIN only to be told that the item was put on back order. So I'm currently waiting the two weeks they said they needed to get the frames from the manufacturer. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I should've just bought them for $40 more on a different site.

I normally don't take the time to write reviews but since I read so many poor ones on here I needed to share my experience. I did read some good reviews but I'm always skeptical and wonder if they're just plants by the company, etc. so take for what it's worth. I also received the "check with the factory in Italy..." email but it was sent timely, within a day or two. That's when I searched and became concerned. Bottom line, they did get back to me within the time frame quoted, my item was no longer available but I was offered alternatives. When I asked for a refund so I can search again, they refunded immediately. I have no concerns buying from them again and will do so.

After ordering from this company, I definitely understand why so many bad reviews exist, but this website is not a scam. Having said that, if you're going to order something from this company, I would highly recommend contacting them ahead of time (through email, since they never answer their phone) and asking if your specific frame style, size, and color is in stock. I'd only order if it is, because otherwise it will take a ridiculous amount of time for them to "ship from the manufacturer."
I learned this from ordering frames in one color and emailing after a large waiting period to find that they were still waiting for them to arrive, but had the frames available in two other colors. I chose to pick one of the available colors knowing the frames wouldn't arrive any time soon from the other reviews I'd seen. Sure enough, they have shipped just a few days after my order change.

I plaster an order 1/12/19 and paid 29.99
For next day delivery! I have not received my glasses nor have anyone contacted me. I have called, sent email, sent voice messages. NO REPLY! This is so unprofessional! I have never had this problem before with an online purshase!
To makes matters worse these glasses are a present for a 59th birthday gift that a group of women pitched in to buy. It's a destination birthday also! I paid extra to make sure it would be here on time. I'm leaving Thurs.
Hownam I going to tell everyone the glasses did not arrive nor have I heard a word from the company!

Better Eyewear.com manufactured my prescription lenses wrong 5 times and will not refund my money. This has been going on for a year! They also didn't cut the lenses to the correct shape to fit the frames. They will not return emails or phone calls. They told me to just get the prescription filled somewhere else but will not send me the demo lenses so I can do so. Terrible unethical company. I have glasses I can't wear and spent a lot of money on them. I will never buy anything from them and recommend you don't either.

Hi all, i purchased a pair of gucci frames from third company. Unlike the other comnents, i must say i recieved my frames in a timely manner, and they were exactly what i asked for. Although,there were a few things that caught my attention, the frames did not concer in a genuine gucci holder, which makes me thinking they were knock offs, and the frames were not as firm, and tight on my face. They felt too flimsy to be real... but then again, maybe the designers are the ones to blame for this. Over all they are cool...

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I would give 0 stars if possible. No idea why i didnt read reviews before ordering from these people. Order took 2 weeks to receive, then glasses didn't fit right so needed to return them. In order to do that u have to get a return form from them. Try calling and all you get is a machine regardless of time of day. Asked for a form online at address they give. Waited 3 days and nothing. Emailed customer service at [email protected] and finally received a form 2 days later. Then had to pay for shipping to return glasses and a rediculous 10% restocking fee. AVOID.

Better Eyewear advertisers that they have an easy return policy but that not TRUE!!! It took them a week to get back to me after MANY CALLS AND E-MAILS!!!! They also charge you to do a return!!! THATS NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!!! I'll never order from them ever!!!!!

Almost a month after ordering and paying for my prescription glasses and not getting any response from Better eye wear for many phone calls and emails i sent them, finally, i received an email from them that my frames had been on back order. two weeks later, again with no updates from them, i called them. the lady answering the phone by the way seems like she had just started the job that day, asking another person about my order told me that it would be another two weeks before they can process the order.
having lost my trust and faith in this company, i cancelled the order and i was told i would be receiving a refund in 5-7 days. it's now 10 business working days past and no refund has been initiated. I highly encourage everyone to stay away from this fake company.

I've ordered from here at least 4 times. I always LOVE the glasses I receive. Gucci Sunglasses for women, Gucci Sunglasses for men, Fendi Eyeglasses for women, Gucci Eyeglasses for men, & a pair of Versace Eyeglasses for men. The quality of the glasses are amazing. However, the processing time is a little long. But its never been more than a month before I received a pair of glasses. Also they're extremely affordable.

Ordered new Authentic frames. What I received was a highly used pair of glasses that were stretch out with no authenticity card and fingerprints all over the lenses. Probably demos. Sent back for an exchange and I have received no exchange or refund! I got shafted for $125. No response to emails or phone. BUYER BEWARE! BBB & Authorities need to be notified.

Bough a pair of prescribed glasses and received demo ones - when contact customer service they stated that they are sure that they send the prescribed glasses and that the refund cannot be processed. So no I returned the demo frames with demo lenses and no refund from them. Unbelievable experience. I am writing a formal complain with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) agency under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. Thankfully I have everything documented with time stamps and witnesses when openned the package.

similar experience as others; I initially received a "shipping" notification from Bettereyewear. The next day i was told th3 notification was a mistake, and that my glasses wouldn't ship for 7-10 business days, and when it was it would be shipped priority. 12 business days later i called, complained that it had been 12 business days, and was told my item would now ship "overnight". When two days went by and my glasses didn't show up, i called back. The new receptionist told me that the glasses shipped two days before priority. I told her that it was suppose to ships overnight, and that i wanted to speak to a manager. She told me there wasn't a supervisor available, and that one would call me the next day. I explained that i have things to do myself, and that it would be nice to know a time, but i couldn't get one. Buy your glasses elsewhere, save the hassle.

I was sent the wrong frames. After multiple email messages (forget trying to call them), I was finally sent a return shipping label. USPS Tracking History indicates frames went out for delivery a week ago; however, the delivery was never scanned as received. Hence, I'm at a standstill. No frames, no refund, no communication!

This company is very bad. They say they are open certain hours but when you call they are closed. I have emailed, called and left a message on their website without any response. They said they did not have the sunglasses I wanted in stock and were reaching out to their warehouse in Italy which could take 2-5 business days????? I need the sunglasses now - if they do not have them in stock they should not be selling them. This happened on two different style of glasses. Do not use this company - very shady to say the least. I still have yet to get a refund.

There are multiple companies that offer designer glasses online and much better choices than BetterEyewear. I made my first purchase with BetterEyewear, which took over 3 weeks to get. I reached out several times during this requesting an update and finally heard back after about 2 weeks that the order was delayed due to the lenses and would ship out that week. It shipped out the following week and once I received them, I ended up not liking them and wanting to place a return. In order to initiate the return, you have to email customer service, which took a total of 2 follow ups and multiple days to hear back. Once I heard back they informed me that I had to pay return shipping and there was a 10% restocking fee. Typically etailers do not charge either but it was noted on the site so I agreed. I sent the glasses back and they were delivered early September. I sent multiple follow ups via email, none of which were responded to until about a month later. About a week or so after that, a refund was finally posted but for less than the 10% originally noted and discussed. I sent two emails inquiring about the discrepancy in the refund and finally 1 week later I was informed via email that there is a 50% restocking fee on the lenses, in addition to the 10% on the frames, which was not noted.
The lack of communication coupled with the hefty refund fees makes this company a complete deal breaker. In contrast, Glassesusa offers designer frames with free returns, free return shipping and live chat for immediate 24/7 customer support. Stay clear of this site.
