Ordered a mattress from them and after sleeping on it for 1 month, I decided to return it. An external pick-up agency, Dachser & Kolb, picked up the mattress and returned the WRONG mattress to bett1.de (they obviously mixed it up with another of the mattresses they picked up that day). I showed bett1.de the confirmation letter I received from Dachser & Kolb at the time of pickup, but they refused to accept responsibility that their partner messed up the mattress return! DO NOT ORDER FROM BETT1.DE BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND RETURN MY MONEY!!

Reply to Bett1: Why would I send back the wrong mattress? I don't have extra mattresses lying around to just send to you. I honestly didn't like the mattress, sent the correct mattress back to you properly (which was checked by Dachser & Kolb at the time of pick-up!) and you refuse to accept that Dachser & Kolb mixed it up with one of the other mattresses during transportation.

Terrible communication!

I place an order on 31 October. I cancel the order on 3 November by email to customer care, as instructed on bett1.de website.

On 7 November I am informed by DPD shipping company that my package will arrive in a few hours. I call bett1 immediately, and customer services assures me in follow-up email same day that DPD has been informed that the delivery is cancelled. I am told that I will get a refund when the warehouse gets my package.

I look on my PayPal account and realise that I have been charged 400 euros on 6 November - 3 days after informing Bett1 of the cancellation.

Today (9 November) I get a message from DPD saying that the package was successfully delivered. I don't know how, because I don't live at that address. I was going to move into a flat, but changed my mind, hence the cancellation of the order.

Now I'm in this impossible situation - my package has been delivered to a place that I don't live and can't get to easily. I can't arrange for a return. And I have been charged 400 euros for a mattress that I cannot either use or return.

Thanks, Bett1. Great job. Don't run an online business if you don't reply to emails.
