Extremely annoyed the Australian staff do not know the NZ turn around times for a replacement fridge. Nice and friendly on the phone, but the lack of decisive information is frustrating. On Monday evening after moving, I set up the fridge. Woke up to only the fridge light and fan working, but not cooling at all. I tried to trouble shoot Tuesday after a busy day as per the booklet request and got a second opinion. Wednesday I called and got a service request then a voicemail advising to call back with model number for a replacement. I did as requested with no follow up about a replacement or a service. Since the lady wasn’t sure what was happening because they already had the model number, it was no surprise there was no follow up. Called on Thursday, to get an ‘unsure’ time frame and a ‘maybe’ early next week. Which leaves us without a working fridge for over a week (Beko’s estimated ‘unsure’ time). I love take outs from time to time, but it gets old going out everyday to buy food if we want it fresh and the cost of take outs is not something our household needs after purchasing a Beko fridge. I will never ever buy or recommend buying a Beko anything. I will just stick to the classic Fisher and Paykel who do same day services if they can fit you in or at least communicate what is happening.
