I purchased a 2L sub and quite like the product, but it was difficult to pay as it took 10+ attempts to be able to input credit card details. Once purchased delivery was prompt and the machine works. Tonight i have wasted over an hour trying to buy 3 torps. Again i can't input credit card details and looking at other reviews im not the only person to have this issue. I've given up trying and will go to Morrison's tomorrow instead. The sub promises much, and I enjoyed the beer, but the issues with the website means im putting it away in the loft. Shame, but it's really not worth the hassle of trying to deal with this company.

I know from experience that Yodel aren't the most trustworthy of couriers but have to say we've just received our 4th order and all have arrived on time and in good condition. Just thought I'd post to balance things out a bit.

We brought the sub compact on offer with 4 Torps and honestly it’s the best bit of kit for home draft beer it tastes just like being in the pub! Beerwulf delivered on the specific date I wanted which was a Saturday at no extra cost, the Torps are pricey if you wanted to buy just a few as as delivery is £4.95 however if you buy 8 it’s free but that would cost over £60 wish there was a better offer on that but overall really really happy and fingers crossed there will be some great offers for Christmas!! Looks good but terrible to use.After 2 months I've never had the light go green to be ready to use,instructions say it takes 10-16 hours can be reduced by pre chilling the torps in fridge, after having it on for 5 days still no green light.
Tried pouring a glass and got 80-90% froth.
Gone through 3 torps now and never managed to get a drinkable glass out of it yet.
My advise stay well clear i through mine away as i wouldn't even give it away and disappoint anyone else with it.

I have been really enjoying using the sub having bought the Heineken edition sub a few months ago. The machine works perfectly and the beer tastes good with plenty of choice.
My problem is with beerwulf and there prices. In the few months that we have been using it the prices of most torps have gone up a few times. The prices fluctuate all the time and we seem to be paying a lot more in the UK than the rest of Europe. For example gosser has now gone up to £8.49 in the UK but you can buy the same size torp for €6.99 in the Netherlands. I am sure it doesn't cost so much to import to justify that price difference.
It feels to me that they keep putting the sub itself on sale to convince people to buy. Then end the sale and raise the prices of the torps knowing that you can only buy the torps from them.

I have had to switch to zero or low alcohol of late.. And discovered sport zot beer when in Belgium.. A zero alcohol that actually tastes nice😂.. I subsequently ordered a case from beer wulf.. Delivered in a matter of days via yodel. I ended up buying a mixed alcohol free or low and again it has arrived via yodel in a couple of days. Hopefully be back to sample real stuff soon.. But wouldn't hesitate to use them again.. And indeed yodel have been just fine.

Have used the company for beers for a while and have found that when there is a sale on (which is often) the beers are a reasonable price. Have recently purchased the sub and have found it works really well, haven’t had a problem yet. Have seen lots of feedback about it not working, these reviews all seem to be during a heatwave and the packaging clearly states the operating temperatures. If it’s 30 degrees in your kitchen then it’s not going to be able to cool your beer down enough- that’s why pubs have cellars. Never had a delivery problem and when I did once find a beer missing I was promptly sent a refund. I really think this is a great company.

Have ordered a selection of beers several times now. Impressive range and prices. Delivery not always as quick as claimed, but only took a couple of days this last time. Unfortunately delivered completely the wrong order, but prompt response to complaint, very quickly sent the right one, on the day I requested, and I got to keep the wrong beers too!

This system is very nice if you want a small glass of lager/beer for each of your 8 friends to have 1 each or 4 friends to have 1.75 each... It's tasty and cold but it's also expensive, noisy and labour intensive for supplying beer. I enjoy the stuff it pours but ultimately, it's the equivalent of a novelty party trick that wears thin very quickly... The torps are ridiculous in price too. Its no different to the desk top "beer" fridge that only holds 4 cans... At a push... And takes all day to chill them. Its not a drinkers tool or a party piece. Don't get it because you'll eventually regret it. 👍

Ordered a sub and torps for delivery today. Only 1 packing in the order turning up which will be either the sub or the torps thus rendering it useless until the other package eventually turns up. Expect this is due to Yodel rather than Beerwulf but you would have thought any respectable company would be using a better delivery partner.
I originally gave 1 star but have amended the review to reflect the customer service level given by the Beerwulf team, notably Mark and Emma. Both were very proactive in resolving the delivery issue. Yodel are still an issue and this review should not penalise Beerwulf for Yodels failings.

Ordered 8subs for delivery on 03/08 still waiting for them on the 06 /08 no email to say what went wrong no contact sat in all-day Saturday sent 2 emails no answer from beerwulf at all sent a third email saying I was going to leave bad feedback for them got a response in 15 mins the response was poor some bull about the delivery being held up totally bad service on my experience I would say avoid this company.

I bought the grey sub and 8 torps. The 8 torps turned up on the day I chose.... great! However the sub is no where to be seen. No correspondence from yodel or tracking from beerwulf.
What am I supposed to do now? I want my sub or at least want to know where it is???

Excellent customer service from jib. Yodel claimed to have delivered my parcel but there was no parcel as i was out. Phoned up and he sorted it straight away! Another order being sent out straight away.

Used to be a The Sub customer, so I had to switch to Beerwulf since the-sub.com is not working anymore. Stictly to Torp supply I guess it works just as well as with The Sub, at least my first order at B.Wulf was delivered quickly and in perfect conditions. The poor rating is due to the following reasons, overall and one more specific:
1.there is no way to get in touch with the customer service by phone, I tried both the Italian and the Spanish numbers a few times but nobody ever answered. There is no way to give a feedback on their page, neither about the service offered nor about the quality of the items you buy. And also no after sale follow up, not even a simple e-mail asking for a feedback.
2.I bought, along with Torps, a 16-bottle IPA pack: utter disappointment, since the pack has plenty of non-ordinary IPAs that do not meet at all the taste of IPAs lovers. There is only one american IPA and, no less, a very common one that you can find anywhere. Three UK session IPAs, not a single real IPA from England. The rest are those Dutch / Belgian IPAs which are of course good beers but are not to be called IPA.
I thought Beerwulf could offer a wider choice than just Torps, but I am really disappointed.

So I placed an order on Tuesday for a special occasion o the Saturday and was given a choice of delivery dates, so far so good. My delivery was due Saturday from 9am through to 6pm. Although I was hoping to receive tracking information on the day to prevent staying in all day long. On Thursday my concerns started after receiving an email to say oops you may have received the wrong order today of some glasses but please keep them and we will 'try' to deliver your order Saturday. I had to spoil the surprise to my other half as to not go into the house as the wrong order would have given the game away as to what he was going to be receiving on the Saturday. On arriving home there was no such incorrect delivery nor was there a calling card, I told him a gift was coming and didn't need to spoil the surprise after all! I was issued with another order number for my actual delivery Saturday. Except I received no tracking information, beerwulf's website stated IT issues and tracking info will be our shortly.... well as you can guess no tracking and no product!!! There were then closed all weekend. Sunday evening I received and email confirming my delivery had taken place on Saturday..... hmmmm the plot thickens as I was hope waiting patiently all day long and there was no delivery. I've written emails (no response) and called today and was told it was delivered quite far away and would I like a map.... no I wouldn't like a map, i would like the product I ordered... I will not be searching for the missing product that I'm told was delivered 5 minutes walk away..... hmm why 5 minutes away? I have lots of neighbours who would only be to happy to take my deliveries in had I not been there but I was... all very strange!!! I would still like the product but doubtful this will be fulfilled and instead will have to chase for my money back.... save yourself the trouble, great website, great concept, rubbish service, rubbish delivery, rubbish communication.

Ordered beer to be delivered for my sons 21st birthday party. Yodel said they had tried to deliver but were unable to access the property. We had been in all day. Beerwulf then admitted that from the GPS trace it appeared that the driver hadn't even tried to deliver. I could confirm this as the property has cctv and there was no sign of them. Then the delivery was made 2 days later and despite all the bumf about having to be 18 and sign for it, it was left by my dustbins. Beerwulf offered nothing except the fact that they were going to raise their concerns with Yodel

Placed an order 3 days ago and have not received any information on delivery. I have sent 2 emails and received no reply. I have called the call-center number for Italy and no reply (on hold music for 30 mins before line drops, have tried 4 times!). I am now reading these reviews and very concerned that i will not receive package in time and confirm that customer service is very bad.

Brought a drinks dispenser and eight torps they were delivered on time however all eight torps have a best before date of next month. When I buy lager elsewhere it has six to nine months life.
If I had wanted short dated beer I could have got that at a reduced price at a supermarket. Sent email to customer services but no reply. Would not recommend this company.

Very satisfied with my first experience with beerwulf.
The menu style packing notes was a nice touch as it had a brief description of the beer, what glass is recommended to use to get the best out of the flavours and a best before date.
Saturday delivery was a huge bonus.

Worst service ever encountered, placed my first order with Beerwulf , was informed would be delivered Tuesday, via Yodel, tracking info provided, time slot given was between 13:17 and 15:17, according to tracking Yodel attempted delivery at 10:15, !!! Later revised tracking informed of delivery between 19:00 and 21:00- NOTHING.... Wednesday, parcel delivered according to tracking, I arrived home from work, Parcel dumped outside front door, parcel looked been used as a football, and badly repaired using Sellotape, with some Beer missing too. I contact Beerwulf, several times, with photos of damage, instead of replacing my missing items, they offer me a £20 voucher if I spend over £25. Not good enough, Worst service ever from both Yodel & Beerwulf, a consumer match made in hell !!!!!!!

So far since switching from thesub to beerwulf, out of the 5 people I work with who've got subs all of us have had issues with beer deliveries, from delays of sometimes up to a week to parcels which have mysteriously gone missing all together.

Have no option but to purchase Torps from them as SUB UK now closed.
Not delivered today as promised,and tracking that I have now been given shows on Yodel as non existent....YODEL deliveries...that usually ends well doesn’t it.
Looks like my £169 beer machine has been a bad buy as I am going to be unable to get Torps without hassle going forward.

15 days, 3 messages and emails left with no reply about a Sub Compact which has stopped working after only 7 months. Can’t get through on the phone no doubt yo their short opening hours. Unsurprisingly ordered an item during that period which only took a couple of days to arrive, yet some of the beer is out of date next month. Quite happy to take your money, hopeless at dealing with problems. NOT recommended.

Not had 1 delivery from yodel where an item hasn't been stolen. constant hassle. disgusting and disgraceful . its letting your customers down and you allow it continue. shame on you !
