I made a hotel reservation through Bedfinder for a very busy weekend in Boulder Colorado. This weekend typically sells out due to limited hotel supply and a whole University event. I made the reservation 2 months in advance. I received Bedfinder confirmation via email. I called the hotel 3 days later and they had no record of my reservation. I contacted Bedfinder and they assured me my reservation was guaranteed and that their room supplier would get it confirmed shortly. 6 phone calls later (by me to them) and I still had no confirmation. This took 6 weeks. Still no hotel confirmation and a lot of excuses about the supplier. One week prior to my travel date they informed me that the hotel was booked and that they could get me lodging far outside of Boulder. I then received a call a day later stating that they could not find me lodging anywhere (as I had told them would happen if they delayed). They refunded me my money and I have no place to stay. I will have to hope for a cancellation at another hotel or find a hyper-expensive AirBnB. I recommend avoiding Bedfinder. They do not have their systems organized and they make commitments they can't keep. They delayed this process and have left me completely screwed. I have no recourse and will never use their services again.

Receipt problem: In their receipt, they can only provide one single number which is the total amount of money for the entire duration of stay, and do not give details on price per night, tax, extra fees, etc. This caused a lot of trouble for me to reimburse the trip.

I thought I was booking a room at the Wawona Hotel in Yosemite that had a private bath. The rate was high - about $350 per night, but I figured that was the going rate for a room with an en-suite bath. So I booked it. When my confirmation came back - after giving my credit card - it showed only a room - no bath.
Then I checked the Wawona directly and saw that their rates were around $150 per night for a room with no bath. (I wanted a bath, but there were no rooms available that had one).
So this company was charging me MORE THAN DOUBLE the going rate.
When I tried to cancel my reservation online, I saw there was no option to cancel a reservation. I was forced to call them. That’s when I realized that they are outside the United States. So I had to make an international call to cancel my outrageously overpriced reservation. And then to add insult to injury, they charged me $50 to cancel. I had only made the reservation 10 minutes earlier.
I will NEVER use this company again and urge you all to do likewise.
On the plus side, the gentleman that took my call was nice and professional.

**NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BEDFINDER**
Bad doesn't come close to the terrible experience that Bedfinder is putting my wife and I through. We were informed a week prior to our stay that the hotel we booked with Bedfinder is full and Bedfinder cannot honor the paid reservation we booked over 7 weeks ago. The alternative offered requires a 30 mile round trip commute, getting a rental car and they are not willing to cover the expense or inconvenience. According to other websites there is availability near our original hotel but Bedfinder is unwilling to book the properties because it would cost Bedfinder more that our original paid reservation. Bedfinder's BAIT AND SWITCH tactics have put us a position of not having a hotel, paying 3x what we booked with Bedfinder to stay in area we booked or accepting an offer that doesn't cover the cost to commute. Their customer service representatives have been professional but unwilling to accept responsibility for the situation or provide appropriate resolution or compensation. NEVER TRUST BEDFINDER!

Hotel food is extreemly bad. Although resevation was half board..but during breakfast and dinner any drink non alcholic including water is at extra charge.

F*** bedfinder don’t ever buy anything from this third party their call center is one of the f***ing worst, i had to cancel my trip because of UNDISCLOSED INFORMATION that kept me from being able to check into my hotel so i tried to cancel my trips 4 f***ing months in advance and they would only give me 30% of my money back. never again will i use this messed up scam of a website and i can’t wait to see you guys in consumers court.

The return flight was delayed by 2hrs which added additional inconvenience. Otherwise, the vacation package was well worth the money.

I have just had to cancel my hotel booking with Bed Finder. I emailed them to request a cancellation and they called me back that day. I believe I spoke to Manuel who was so polite and helpful and they cancelled my booking with no problems and also sent a confirmation email. Will book with them again next time.

I'm a first-time user of Bedfinder. I was a bit skeptical to use the site due to the bad experiences that I read online, but I'm also aware that some people just like to complain about everything, and give bad reviews over something petty. The only time I had a concern was when I first tried to verify my hotel room was booked. I called the hotel after I received my confirmation email from Bedfinder, but they couldn't find my room under my name. After further review of the email I received, I saw that it stated that my information may not be given to the hotel until up to 1 week prior to the booking date! i was a little concerned, so I emailed Bedfinder and I got a reply back within 24 hours with a confirmation number that I was able to use and verify my reservation with the hotel. My booking date hasn't been reached yet, but as of yesterday, my room is booked and is under my name. All in all, I am really satisfied with this service. I was able to book a room for significantly cheaper than the going rate currently is at that location.

I booked into a nice apartment via Google which was confirmed. As agent they booked me into a completely different hotel of a similar name. They blamed Google, cancelled the booking but I have not been refunded even though they accepted this was not my fault. Bad communications though they said I will be refunded I haven't been.

It’s easy to book. Just like any other booking site but there’s a note that you don’t see until after you book “hotel may not receive your personal details until a week to 72 hours before your stay”. What does that even mean? I can’t confirm with the hotel to make sure my booking went through?
