I purchased 2 queen beauty rest mattresses from Bed Bath online 9/5/2020 items were in stock and delivery on or before 9/15/2020. It's now 10/8/2020 and still no date on delivery. I spent hours on the phone with customer service only to be told they can't and won't do anything. I explained I have kids sleeping on floor and ordered based on delivery date. The refuse to cancel order and issue a credit.
They don't care about the customer period. Do not but from them several stores sell the same products with people that care about getting you your product.
Beware if you buy.

I purchased a gift for a bridal shower. The gift arrived at the bride's home without gift wrapping or a card. I took the time to write a personal message but it was never received and they did not know who sent the gift. It was only by coincidence that I was identified as the sender. It's impossible to contact customer service. They only provide a phone number that no one ever answers.

Package got delayed almost 20 days and it took 1hr 30min to get connected with customer service and they initiated refund and offered 20 percent off which is available for free to every one. I will never order anything online with Bed Bath & Beyond. Writing review because it might save some time for others good luck.

Martini glasses thrown in a box with no packing. Fortunately none broken. Two hand towels ordered were thrown in the box., no tags, obviously used, returned or who knows where they were from. Will never buy there again.

Never received product. Asked for refund. Customer service stated they would refund money within 3-5 business days. That was 5 days ago. They owe me $45.34. Said now I have to wait 10 days for money. Reported them to the Better business bureau and the New York State Attorney General.

Since the 13th I have tried multiple times after holding on the phone for more than 4 hours and not being able to cancel through internet because of lack of employees I was told that I surpassed the 15-minute window?. How can one cancel an order when you can't reach anyone by phone for hours or email. The next day I tried again by Tech and I literally kept getting texts over and over from 12:30 in the afternoon until almost midnight at night I was assured that the situation was handled at that time but I have yet to receive my refund my order was $154 and some sins and I received a $26 refund. This is Ludacris and I have never heard of a business that cannot be reached online and then to take 3 days of waiting in excess of 15 hours to resolve a problem is unacceptable. It would not surprise me if Bed Bath & Beyond does not go bankrupt very quickly.

Ordered a cool lamp online but packaging was unprofessional and disgusting. Ordered it along with another product and Instead of you guys using a separate box you open the lamp box and placed it inside. For this, i'm NEVER shopping here online again.
This is not the first time but the fourth time I've had an issue with an online order which for me it's a waste of money because I have to Uber back to return it and then Uber back home. This is a real disappointment especially for me because I joined the Bed Bath and Beyond membership club which I paid for. Free shipping does not mean send it to customers any kind of way!
THEN, when I did get the box opened the lampshade was cracked and the lamp was very rusted in certain places. I'm just gonna keep it because again it's gonna cost me more than what I pay for the lamp to return it. I don't have the time and energy anymore to go back-and-forth with this company. I've even tried to call and I was on hold for four hours. SAD

I placed an order then had questions about the order. I e-mailed but they sent an e-mail back saying they aren't responding to e-mails, just texts and phone. It took forever to find the phone number to call, only to be told that my wait time was over an hour. I hung up after one hour, forty minutes as no one had answered. So much for customer service.

I ordered 7 baskets and paid for 7 baskets. Received my order with only 6 baskets enclosed. I thought it would be a simple fix. Call customer service but can't get through to anyone. Have currently been waiting on hold for 1 hour and was told the wait was 30 mins. I found a customer chat window and 'missing items from order' isn't an option and there is a 4 1/2 hour wait for that. They offer text help and that wait is 7 hours????/. It's (Bed, Bath &) BEYOND frustrating! I get that times are more challenging with Covid but in this instance, it's more of an excuse for extremely negligent poor customer service. They took my order and my money within seconds and yet there is no one to help me with their mistake! I will NEVER give them my business again. At some point, I've got to let go of the missing basket because my time is much more valuable.

I purchased 3 of the same items on July 19th. On July 21st, they were delivered. Once the boxes were checked, I realized they sent me three of the incorrect items. In fact, they were not even close to what was on my receipt. I immediately made them aware explained that these items were needed for an event on August 1st. I did order the correct items, Bed, Bath, and Beyond made the mistake. Customer service told me I needed to return the items before they could send my correct items. I'm not sure how me fixing their mistake was priority, especially since they had my money. But they sent me a return label, and I put those labels on all three boxes and put out front. They were supposed to pick up that Monday, but they were still on my front porch when I got home from work. I called on Tuesday and they said they would come on Wednesday. All boxes were out there all day. When I returned from work, one box was gone and two were still left on the front porch. Needless to say I still to this day have not received my items that I needed yesterday. I'm currently on hold trying to fix their mistake AGAIN! And have been on hold for 1 hour and 17 minutes. I need everyone to know how frustrating this company can be. My daughters college registry was also with them, for this same event, and she has only received two of the 13 items purchased from people. If you can find your items somewhere else, you are better off. I work 50-60 hours a week and do not have time for this inconvenience. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, just avoid or go in person.

Do not EVER order store pick up. In fact I would avoid this store in Poughkeepsie in general charged me for two orders because they neglected my comment and was charged twice. Contacted better business and it will stick to the website! Heave my advice and shop online. They did NOTHING to try to make up what happened

I am waiting over 10 days for them to say my order has been shipped. Then, after hours of trying to talk to someone, they said, "Sorry, I don't know what you want from me" ... terrible customer service! They never notified me to tell me my order was out of stock. Then I am dealing with a customer service representative. Never order things from here again! These are scammers.

I have been a faithful customer of BBB for over 20 years and used to give them 5 stars gladly. Not any more. They now use COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and poor quality products. I purchased a vacuum robot from them which was defective, another defective one was sent as a replacement (or maybe the same one, it displayed the same problem) and now I have been waiting for another replacement and instead I received a refund without any explanation. If you try to call/chat the waiting time is over an hour (70 minutes is now their "standard", in reality it can be more). The email option seems available on their website but if you email you get a response that email is not monitored because of COVID, so you've just wasted your time. So Customer Service is practically non-existent. BBB has become a source of frustration, they will lose their customer base with this attitude. I know I am one of them, I'm done dealing with BBB.

I made an online purchase in June. Both items from this order arrived damaged. When I contact customer service it's always I need to do this and that or no one knows what I'm talking about. I have been promised a refund that never happened. The last person I spoke with said it could take 30 days!! Funny thing is it only takes one day to take the money from my account. Here we are the end of July still no refund. It is not my problem these products arrived damaged. Never have I delt with such horrible customer service. to top it off when I last spoke with customer service I asked 5-6 times to speak to a manger before she finally put me on hold then comes back to say no one is available. If I do not receive my refund I will be seeking other actions. I am so disgusted with the lack of customer service and competency to even fix the problem in the first place. From the beginning I said I just wanted a replacement which was such a process and for somthing that was not even my fault I had so much responsibility. They had the nerve to ask me to pick up an item I couldn't even lift and bring it back to ups to even begin shipping a new item!!!!! I don't want to be contacted by anyone. I want my money back and that is all. I have already replaced the damaged items with another company.

Don't know what happened to Bed Bath & Beyond. Going downhill. Returned 4 items have not received a refund after business 14 days after they received the items back. Keep getting excuses from their customer service people who are in another country and don't understand you or do you understand them. I want my money back for the 4 items that you received back in June. Will never order anything from them again online

Recently I ordered a bedding set from that bath and beyond. I received a notification a few days later that my package will be delivered the next day, the next day I was home all day and was actually downstairs in the lobby in the apartment building where I live and received a notification that my package had been delivered, it wasn't delivered because I was there and nobody came to the door and there was no notification of delivery either. It is now 10 days later I still haven't seen a reply from them.
I am out $79, have no way to contact them because all they offer is the return of service and I can't return what I don't have I am very disappointed I am actually very angry the worst service I have ever received ever from any company online

I orders bedding, never was sent delivery status, never knew where it was, was not home one day and they said it was delivered, I never say it, they said well start a refund 8 days later no refund and no one talking to me or answering my message, this place only want to make interest off my money, never order on line with this company they also use fedx the worst delivery company ever.

I ordered a wall mirror which arrived promptly. However some of the wood pieces are not glued together and there are chips in the paint. I attempted to go online to return and keep receiving a notice that they do not recognize my order #, zip code or email. All of which exactly matches the confirmation email they sent when I placed the order. I called the 800 # and the wait time is over an hour. This is ridiculous. I should not have to jump through hoops to return a defective product.

Bed Bath & Beyond customer & online stotere customer service is trash this is a corporation but they are working as if it was a an independent store's with different owners
You call them with an issue and there is no reasoning with customers they are charging people 2 times for orders and when you call
There is nothing they can do to help if even make customers feel better customers are always right not here at bed bath & beyond the have no sympathy for their customers.

A flyer they sent said an item I wanted was on sale. Ordered it RIGHT AWAY. The next day I got an email saying they had to cancel the order as it was out of stock and I should have a refund. I haven't gotten the refund yet, but I did get another flyer advertising the item. Online it says it's in stock on the front page. I spoke to a representative who was nice, but admitted there was an error on the page and I should get a refund soon. That's all that happened. I said I can't trust BBB's online shopping and will shop elsewhere, but they didn't seem to care. So I simply won't go back.
