Ordered over 3 weeks ago from their website. Chased the order and they said there had been no house number put onto the package when I had inputted this online. I also paid via PayPal so would be on there. It’s common sense not to send an item without a door number. So they then advised me I’d have to wait until they received the item back from the postal service before they would issue me a refund or post the item back out. I opened a case on PayPal they advised could post out or issue a refund. I said if I received it before end of the week was fine redispatch for them to post “sorry a refund has been raised with our returns department”. Shocking customer service and massive waste of my time!

Would rate less than 1 if I can. Disgusting hair it’s £120-£500 and it’s not human hair, lasts less than 3 weeks. Accuse you of not looking after it properly however when I changed supplier I get 9 months to 1 year out of the hair for £70? if you want good extensions try clip hair or sahar hair, not these.

I am going into my 4th year of purchasing hair from Beauty Works & the quality of the hair always has me so happy & satisfied. In my most recent order I purchased the 28” Tape In, in the absolute most gorgeous color “Mocha Melt” & the 24” Gold Double Weft in the same color. I never have any issues with it being tangled, the shine is absolutely stunning, even after washing it, & I receive compliments all the time on how gorgeous & beautiful my hair is, Their customer
service is phenomenal, & I have never had an issue in not getting a response & they are always so lovely & helpful. Louise in customer service answered all of my questions & as well provided me with everything I requested. I absolutely am blown away at reading some of these reviews as I must say, 4 years of being a Beauty Works customer & I have never experienced poor customer service or any issues with the quality of the hair in my orders. I will forever order my hair through Beauty Works , and can honestly say it is the very best hair on the market , thick from top to bottom, high shine , long lasting , phenomenally stunning hair in which I highly recommend this company!

The hair is mediocre quality as I have used it before, (over priced in my opinion). However, because they have a good selection of colours I decided to give them another go. Ordered 3 days ago, still no email order confirmation even though funds have been taken. They do not pick up their phone or respond to emails. Not sure if/how I can get my money back but I will never use this company again.

Just about to replace my year old Champagne Blonde Nano Bead Extensions (which I have loved, loved, loved!!) & only went and flippin ordered the stick tips by mistake on a Next Day Delivery!!! Grr .... But thanks to the amazing 5* service from Louise in Customer Services who intercepted my order and got it all changed over to Scandinavian Blonde Nano Beads, I'm now excited and looking forward to my appointment at the hairdressers on Friday! Yay!!

When ordering form these guys NEVER choose next day delivery. I paid for this last Thursday and It's now Monday with still no order and the customer service is dismal when dealing with a complaint as they use DPD (who have a horrid track record)! I have been chasing my delivery for 3 days and still don't have it. I love their products but this has really put me off using them again.

The pro beauty styler - the BEST!
Purchased this wand last year, it's been the best thing ever! I have naturally very long straight hair - mixed with extension for thickness. This is THE only wand to hold my curls. Also works perfectly abroad! Doesn't drop in temperature and super easy to use.
Very shocked to see all the bad reviews on here - my delivery was on time and order confirmation came through perfectly fine.

No order confirmation, no contact and no replies to emails!! Ordered something next day delivery and paid for the privilege however NO confirmation email or anything, its really awful service!! would be nice if at least had some communication. Really need to up their standards.

So firstly I’d like to say this company can’t take criticism - as soon as you tell them their product is rubbish they blame it on not using their product or bad aftercare.
I purchased their hair three times, I tried experimenting to see what I’m doing wrong with the hair for it to become so matted and knotty after 3 weeks of wear! On my first purchase I did use different products other than beauty works aftercare and used heat on the hair. On my second purchase I’ve not used any aftercare but still applied heat to hair. On the third one I have bought the beautyworks shampoo and mask with the hair and it doesn’t work. The hair still goes knotty and get thinner and thinner and just doesn’t look wearable. I’ve tried sending my second purchase back for testing but they sen it back saying I need to buy their aftercare which I have and it doesn’t work anyway. Waste of money, don’t know why people still buy their hair it so bad ! And customer services are rubbish. DO NOT BUY

I have tried nano extensions for the first time with the intention of thickening my hair not lengthening. I used non silicone nano rings from Beauty Works and these seemed to have cut my hair off into tufts. I have since read that non silicone rings can have a scissor effect on the hair. Really sad as my thin hair is now even thinner. I had these fitted by a trained person. Also, the colour of the rings came off. It seems that silicone rings from amazon are much better and so much cheaper and more colour choice.
The hair I bought from Beauty Works is really good and matches my hair perfectly.

Ordered weeks ago for a birthday present ,never came .still waiting on delivery confirmation. Customer service is dreadful they haven't a clue what's going on .dont order if you dont want too wait weeks for your product .they emailed back saying there going too raise it with the right department.a load of muck, they dont have a clue what's going on .how hard was it too find out where it is when they have the details of the purchase.Dont waste your money on a company that doesn't deliver what they say .

Got the 18inch double hair set clip ins. Initially they were lovely, so beautiful, thick, soft and the perfect colour! However after the first wash they dried out massively. I've now probably only worn them ~15 times and washed them twice in total and they look like fake hair, clumping together, dry and frizzy. It's such a shame because they claim its 100% human hair... Its not. I used a straightener on them and strands of plastic mixed into the hair was melting on the straightening iron. Don't waste your money. I believe the majority of these reviews would be more negative if people waited slightly longer to review them. Overpriced too- My £40 Ebay extensions lasted as long as these. The clips I also found quite clumpy and of poor quality- they pull at my hair and are hard to conceal compared to other extensions I've used.

Hair lasted me 4 weeks...now they feel clumpy and like straw. (Double weft clip ins). Have used a sulphate free conditioner and still look broken and dry...dont feel like human hair. Disappointed!

My set of 18” deluxe clip ins I ordered arrived however it was missing a single clip in from the set. Other than that the hair quality was very nice, perhaps a little thin at the ends but it makes it look a bit more natural. I bought a second set whilst I was reporting the fault as I needed them urgently as I was going to an event. Sian from customer services was very helpful, and informed me if that happens in the future, they have the single clip ins to send you if any are missing a piece. Handy to know for anyone ordering clip ins with a piece missing in the future! They accepted my refund even though I had opened the packet, but only because I had to open them to see that there was one missing. Other than that it’s worth noting that on the pack it explicitly says you cannot return them at all if you take them off of the board they’re attached to.
Although the quality of hair was great and they were a great colour match, it may possibly put me off ordering them again as I had to pay £18 delivery to return them, plus £6 a time when I ordered the original set and the replacement. I haven’t had any offer of being reimbursed for the return cost, despite there being a fault out of my control.

We own a busy salon and have regularly used beauty works and the customer service has never been great. They can be quite rude and abrupt on the phone, however we've put up with it.
On this occasion however they've snapped me. I've just been sat with a member of our team who called to price up some extensions who was abruptly met with the statement 'have you not got a price list in front of you? Well you really should have'.
This isn't the first occasion and if I ever heard someone on our team being half as rude to a client as your reps are I think I would blow a gasket.
This company really needs to get a grip of its team and invest in some customer service training because they are genuinely the worst company for customer service we deal with.
Unsurprisingly this is the only platform I can find to leave feedback.

Ordered from this company using next day delivery for which I paid £6.95. This was Wed 9th October. Received item today 6 days later. I was told this is because we are in scotland and that delivery was attempted the previous day. I received no card advising of this. The company flatly refuse to refund the postage as they say this falls within their timescale for delivering to Scotland. Shocking attitude and shocking customer service. Would not recommend this company

Since my review, I have been contacted by the customer care manager who was very understanding rather than dismissing me, so thank you so much to Gemma for contacting me and taking the time to help me out in this situation. I have now been able to return the product and was offered compensation for my delivery fee.
If i could give 0 stars I would - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. WORST PRODUCTS EVER. THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME & MONEY.
If you expect hair extensions that look like the picture then do not buy from here. The student discount does not apply properly and I was going back and forth between Unidays and beauty works as they were both blaming each other. I decided to order as my graduation was in a few days and did not have the time to keep going back and forth.
I ordered silver and received pink. I then Realised there is a piece missing from my double hair set. I emailed customer service who told me they cant guarantee I'll get a refund even though the products were not as described as i proved to them with PHOTOS and they did not even send me a complete item, at the very least compensate me for false advertising and sending an incomplete item!!!
Again, I've had to send multiple emails and have only received ambiguous answers. They said I would definitely not be compensated for delivery even though its their faul. If they annot guarantee i'll get a refund or any compensation why on earth would I spend extra money returning the item when its not my fault i'm having to return them
Unless you enjoy being tricked by fake photos online & not receiving your full item, I would avoid Beauty Works.

UPDATE: I have now been blocked from their Facebook page for expressing my opinion. Trading standards are now investigating this company!
Paid £479 for slim line tapes. Was really excited having them done, 2 weeks later I went away, landed home and my friend shouts your hair is PINK.
My extensions had not been subject to salt water/chlorine or sun cream. I have had hair extensions years and years and never ever had hair turn pink after a holiday. Even the stickiness on the tapes and gone and they were slipping.
Sent them back as I was within the time to have them tested and they told me it was suncream. My hair was up in a bun my entire holiday. There was no way suncream had turned the whole of my hair pink.
They have refused a refund or to exchange them. Very very poor quality. No customer care. Once you buy them they wash their hands of you.
Wish I had read all the reviews on here before.
Please avoid them, they are shoddy quality. I even heard an influencer say that she takes certain shampoo away as they turn a funny colour.
I’m so disappointed and now faced with having to take legal action against them.

If u could give 10 stars I would do! After some troubles with the courier reaching me due to flood I emailed beauty works and got a response pretty much straight away with several options on how to resolve the problem and get my order quickly before going on holiday the next day. Louise who delt with my order went above and beyond to help me our with it and I honestly can't thank her enough. Amazing customer service

I wish I had read all the bad reviews, the most unprofessional salon I have ever been to. Booked an intensive face peel with Tracy. Once she took my £180, she did not care. She was 45mins late for our appointment and so without putting a headband on me, she slapped this mask on my face and the receptionist walked in while I was half naked. I was left with patchy horrible red and dark marks all over my face and white face mask all over my face and hair before she kicked me out of the room. Completely ignored my emails asking for a refund and have now had to pay someone else again for the mess she left my face in. Please do not go here.

I hold a trade account with BeautyWorks for 3 years or so, I always preferred their hair due to their large selection of colours and I loved the tiny itips they used to do. They have recently changed their tips to a much larger itip. I messaged them with my concerns as I have been struggling to use their hair and they told me they changed them to improve them.. The old tips were very small and the same width as the strand itself, they were also a very soft itip making them squish shut perfectly when fitting them! The new tips however are so much bigger and are wider than the strand itself, which saddens me as I can't make the new tips work. I do hope they listen to their loyal trade account holders and change them back.

I purchased the 18” double hair extensions and they’re perfect, really thick and blend in well which is amazing as my natural hair is short and thick. Also received perfect customer service via telephone and over email. Thank you so much 💕
