The hydration bags appears to perform as it should.
More suited for flat ground, slope is slightly a problem unless one could balance the bag properly. Ideal for single stems trees not multi-stems. A bit difficult to keep the bag up right when it is on a slope.

Good communication with clients to point out the expectation of the delivery, as we are living in an IT and "click" environment.

The trees look lovely just as in the picture!! Now got to get them in the ground!!
Thought I might have a longer wait but after contacting them, then Barchum offered to pay back the money or wait, I am glad I did as they have now arrived!!

I was a bit shocked at the delivery costs - but it was quite a big tree we had delivered and the delivery was certainly efficient and I felt care was taken of the tree in transit. I am very pleased with the quality of the tree and the planting kit and instructions that came with it. Its nice to be able to buy a tree that is already a decent size - as I wanted it to screen a bus stop outside my house and it certainly does just that!

Took several phone calls to chase the order but quality of tree and great Polish delivery driver made it all worthwhile, he’s a credit to your company.

What would have been a vast improvement is if they had contacted me about when the tree would be delivered. I was emailed when the order was processed, and that was the last communication. The tree was delivered and laid in our front garden - I had no idea when it was going to be delivered, so I wasn't home.

Generally a good experience and very happy with the trees that were sent.

One of the trees was damaged on arrival but i contacted Barcham and they immediately offered some money back.

The 3-4 metre trees are heavy - i hadn't realised that i would have to get these off the truck myself but to be fair does state this on the website.

Most important thing for me was instant impact and quality, and trees that were sent satisfied that.

The website is clear and, for a complete tree novice, full of great advice. Everyone I spoke to was equally knowledgeable and friendly.

Barchams were helpful when I asked about changing the delivery date. They rang and confirmed and the courier rang 30 minuites before he arrived to check I was around.
I am still not sure if I have paid for delivery but I expect somebody will send me an invoice if necessary

I recently purchased a medium tree (amelanchier) and a large shrub / small tree (cotinus) from Barcham. The highlight for me was the great advice I received from the Barcham sales team who reviewed my garden from photos and made sensible recommendations for the space. They also explained very politely why the trees I had initially considered would not be ideal in the longer term.

In terms of the actual plants, the tree was as expected (I had selected a numbered specimen) but the shrub was a little disappointing as it was floppy and lacked structure. I have planted it at an angle to make it work more 'normally'. I would use Barcham again, particularly where I can select a specific tree.

Selection is wide and varied, the prices are good particularly the bulk discount, the only issue was delivery, the payment and delivery address were different and the driver was sent to the wrong location, would have been a big problem had the two locations now been so close

helpful advice prior to ordering and supplied healthy trees at a reasonable price. Good after care support too. Would not hesitate to recommend Barcham trees and would use them again
