I bought a silver birch from Barcham around a year ago and had excellent service, the delivery driver willingly taking the tree into our back garden to its planting place. The tree was expensive but I don't mind paying for quality. The tree is a lovely white colour and the trunk straight. But recently I bought another such tree from Barcham with disappointing results. The driver did not call ahead and did not ring our doorbell but simply left the tree on our drive, blocking the garage. Also the tree has a pinkish tint to its colour and there is a distinct bow the lower trunk. I accepted the tree to avoid the hassle of returning it. Not a good experience this time from suppliers to the royal family. RS.

At this stage it is 5 Stars. That needs revisiting as and when the trees are due to flourish in the Spring! Four trees and a bush bought to landscape a new drive. An easy process, guided by staff both helpful and knowledgeable. Delivered as promised. Now in the ground and we wait with bated breath.....

The smaller trees were fine, but with the medium Pinus nigra Austriaca in 100 litre bags, all the soil fell off as soon as we cut the bags off and they were, in effect bare rooted - not sure they will survive.
Delivery by one man without a tail lift meant a back-endangering lift off the side of the lorry by me and the driver.

Emma at Barcham Trees couldn't have been more helpful. The Acer tree is magnificent and has a wonderful root system. The planting accessories were absolutely value for money and the intructions on planting were helpful to the gardeners;
I was watching a house and garden make-over and was delighted to see that Barcham Trees were used.
My gardener and I have already mentioned your name to friends and colleagues.
A big thank you. If I had a larger garden I would certainly order more.

Very pleased with the tree I purchased. Everything was as expected.
What would have been a vast improvement is if they had contacted me about when the tree would be delivered. I was emailed when the order was processed, and that was the last communication. The tree was delivered and laid in our front garden - I had no idea when it was going to be delivered, so I wasn't home.

Had a helpful discussion with staff at Barcham before deciding on choice of tree. Once ordered received a friendly call to arrange delivery which took place exactly as arranged. The tree was in very good condition, the planting instructions and kit were helpful and useful. So far the tree appears to be flourishing!

Generally a good experience and very happy with the trees that were sent.
One of the trees was damaged on arrival but i contacted Barcham and they immediately offered some money back.
The 3-4 metre trees are heavy - i hadn't realised that i would have to get these off the truck myself but to be fair does state this on the website.
Most important thing for me was instant impact and quality, and trees that were sent satisfied that.

The trees were great, but the experience with the delivery driver was a nightmare, he called 3 times before 7:30am to establish if he could fit down the country roads, and when he arrived at the top of the driveway he refused to come down the drive or bring the trees down to the house. It was left to my 68 year old father in law to attempt to take in the trees until we got home from work.
Great Trees, but delivery service was poor, hence my 3 star rating.

I recently ordered 12 medium sized trees from Barcham and have been very pleased with the service and the quality of the trees. Just be careful that you ensure you have the means to move the trees into place as some of mine were heavier than I had anticipated!

Barchams were helpful when I asked about changing the delivery date. They rang and confirmed and the courier rang 30 minuites before he arrived to check I was around.
I am still not sure if I have paid for delivery but I expect somebody will send me an invoice if necessary
