I wanted a speaker I could connect to my TV via a coaxial cable.
This is exactly what I said to the assistant in store. She recommended a BEO 3. She Gave me a sound demo and I was impressed. She eve recommended where I should go to buy the coaxial cable. I was impressed with the service and detail and so bought the speaker.
I had to wait a week to get the coaxial cable from another store. In the meantime I had connected to the speaker via Bluethooth and disposed of the packaging. I was extremely surprised and disappointed when the cable did come to find there is no coaxial connection on the speaker. All there is is a 1/4 headphone line out.
Having spent €300 on a speaker for a very specific purpose and being told this speaker fits that purpose only to find it doesn't was extremely frustrating and annoying.
I returned to the store and was met with the most bizarre and ridiculously poor customer service. All the assistant would say is that without the packaging there was nothing that could be done. I explained how I had been lied to and was sold something that didn't do what I needed it to. I was met again with the same repetition and rudeness.
I am still shocked that a company of this size and standing deals with it's customers in this way. Lying about product capabilities in the first instance and a complete lack of responsibility in the second.

Wonderful speaker, wonderful sound.
I've got some troubles adding it to "My Home" in Google Home - worked perfeclty with Bluetooth but no chance to use it with Spotify Connect. Suddenly it appeared among my devices, added to "My Home" and now it works magnificently!

I would give 5 star, but the team at B&O took awhile to respond. There are about 5-6 emails, all different representatives replying back to my emails.
I had the older model of the E8, but at the end of this they replaced it with their latest E8 2.0.

It doesn’t have the four hours of Battery. The maximum is 3.5 hours. The produc is simply excellent performance and fidelity.

Hi! I recently purchased a Beolit17 speaker for my appartement and I’m very pleased. I think the sound is marvellous and the design of the speaker is brilliant. Simple, elegant and unobtrusive. However, there are a few non-negligible flaws that had me slightly disappointed in the product. When the speaker battery falls under 20%, the volume capacity is reduced by more than half. That is very annoying because 20% is still a long time to go before being completely flat and when it is plugged in, it won’t retrieve its volume capacity until the battery is above 20%. I haven’t found a way to bypass this.
The other thing is that before I bought it, it was advertised to have 24h autonomy. That is a lie, or perhaps 24h at 5% volume. But it won’t last 12h on at medium volume.
I love B&O products, I have been dreaming to have one for ages. Now that I encounter these flaws, I’m a bit disappointed because as a student, 500€ is a lot of money to invest in a speaker. I put 4 stars on this review because the sound quality is great, and I love the brand/service.

Let me start off by saying the products are great. I've owned four pairs of headsets from Bang & Olufsen, and they are VERY accommodating when you're in their shops... As long as you want to buy something.
I have a B&O H9i that I bought last year around may. I use it EVERY day for 14 hours or so, as a mix of transport and my work, so having it/a quality headset with me is CRUCIAL. Whenever I use the headset wired the left ear has no sound now. This is after a normal days usage, so I can only use it with Bluetooth now. There's no "loaner" headset, and at that pricepoint (3.999DKK at the time of purchase, around $700) it's rather inexcuseable. If the wait period was like a day or two it'd be no problem, but being told a diagnosis of the headset could take up to 3 weeks, and knowing that I'll need it. To me, that's below all critique. If you spend over $500 on a headset there should be a guarentee for either a swap if there's a defect, or a loaners guarentee.

The BeoPlay h9i is an amazing product with industry leading sound, much better clarity and bass than when I tested Sony, B&W and Bose.
Perfect noise canceling capabilities, there is a crane outside my office most days and I bought these to get rid of the droning sound.
They also look exceptionally premium.
All in all exactly what I wanted.

I have returned items 1 month ago via beoplay returns service. UPS pre paid label. The items are showing as delivered and received on 24th July. I am yet to be refunded nearly 900 gbp despite being told it would 5 days. From there I have contacted them daily via email and basically not had a response for weeks at a time. Only to be told they are working on it and will update me with more information? I mean what on earth is going on. just give me my money back
Just an update. I was promised a refund either by end of business Tuesday or Wednesday.
I have not received this or the email I was promised. This is appalling. So for you to say it's being dealt with is clearly incorrect
The team have got back to me saying I have to wait, having previously stated I was going to be refunded by Wednesday this week, again more lies.

So far one of the worst Customer support + experience with a premium product I ever had. I bought end of May 2019 the H9i, the flagship headphones. After a while, it turned out, that they don't work properly. Sensors not working, continued playing after switching off, volume changes randomly and other weird things. After feltlike endless mail contact with Support, they suggested that I send the headphones back for check and reparation. What can I say, not even that worked, I should have received the documents for returning the headphones, but I never received them. After trying this 3 times (even manually by B&O support) they did not even react to my demand at all anymore. Even though I have a guarantee for one year, I have no chance to get these headphones repaired or checked. Completely unacceptable, at least for such premium products with premium prices. Guess how this makes me feel as a customer...
