Please just do not use. I lost a total of £2000 because of this app and had to wait nearly a year for my money back. There are so many scammers using it. Not badi's fault but still not worth it.

This has got to be the worst app when it comes to validating your phone number. The security measures needs improvement and please hire someone to knows what they are doing. I have not been able to register my number....

Terrible. It's a place also full of dodgy real estate agents. You put in a request and the landlord has 72 hours to respond. The agent never responded with a yes or no, even though he came online many times and must have seen my messages. The agent in question had dozens of property on there. He completely wasted my time as i lost out on other property in the meantime through other sites. And Badi do nothing to penalise this agent. A very bad and ill thought out system.

Horrible Horrible experience for Americans.
When you find a room or an apartment they run your US credit card, obviously your credit card company will reject the purchase and send you an email asking if you made the purchase, once everything is okay you go back to Badi but by then they have frozen your credit card from their website and unless you have other credit cards you screwed.
I begged them over and over to take my card but all they would say is it’s out of there control and I need to give them another cc.
This company made my stay a nightmare.

As many other renting/housing services Badi protects only landlords but not renters. I got scammed twice by people telling me that everything was regular only to discover, once I moved in their flat, that there was no contract and everything was unofficial (to put it lightly). So that they could kick me out of the house whenever they wanted (that in fact happened in both places), I had to stand by their rules -no matter how unjust they were- and I couldn't complain if the flat revealed to be pretty different from how it was advertised and presented to me. Even if this is not directly fault of the service itself the fact is that Badi allows landlords to behave like that with no consequences. The flats are surely not checked by anyone so who rent them can basically write whatever they want and get away with that. You need to make an offer in order to write to them (and 90% of them won't even answer because they hold the knife from the handle) and you need to present yourself as the perfect roommate by basically reading their mind and guess what they want to hear because, again, the site puts them in a favorable position in which they can be mean and dishonest but you need to remain polite and beg on your knees. Landlords that do not answer should at least be punished by the site and they should not have the possibility of leaving the chats whenever they want because this prevents the possibility of showing proofs of their misbehaviour in the case of a legal action against them (which, if you trust this site, will definitely happen).

Spent 6 days trying to log in and every time it would say there is an unknown issue please contact customer service. EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAD TO REQUEST A NEW PASSWORD EVEN AFTER CHANGING IT MY SELF!!! Finally when it was fixed and I tried to list a room.... It logged me out and i couldn't use the same password again... even when i requested a new password... that didn't even work!!!
absolute waste of time... I would recommend spare room instead of this rubbish.

Awful experience!! 70% of users will not even answer to your questions, the other 30% will answer and disappear whenever they want, because there are no sanctions against bad behavior. Other than that, scheduled to see 4 different places, and ALL of them went wrong: 3 of them waited 10 minutes before to cancel and find excuses.
You should inspire yourselves on airbnb, a platform that will kick out people like this. Horrible, 100% horrible!

The actual customer service is super poor. They delete listings without explanation nor notification explaining what is wrong. They can not even tell you what iswrong as they don't even know by the answers they give you. You have to work it out your self and if you don't cos there is no human way to do so, best delete your listing and start from scratch.
Live chat is ridiculous. When you answer to them then they say " Sorry, I can not respond, I am in Germany". Or some like that. Of course the live chats vanishes. ; ).
Rent rooms without visit is NO RECOMMENDED. Please, do not go for that amazing option they offer as a great feature. It is not a great feature. It has allwats existed that you can pick up unbalanced people of the street and take them home. My experience was not good with one of them and would not recommend.
Barcelona has other free of charge plataforms to find room. You do not need to pay commisions to rent a room.
Guaranties and secure payments?. Dont know. What I know is that it suits them to keep peoples money and make interests out of it.
Pointless. No need for this platform and on top, bad platform.
There you go! My opinion ; )

I have booked a room through Badi’s platform for the next few months. Upon my arrival at the premises I found the room to be in an unsanitary state, dirty and I would like to express some of my concerns for some safety aspects including electrical plugs that don’t appear to be safe or standardised. Although I can understand that the room may be more ‘worn out’ than it appears in the images, the cleanliness of the room however was not how a room should be rented to any room seeker… It is rather unacceptable.
It is unbelievable that rooms are not checked prior to arrivals, this leads to very bad surprises and a loss of €1095 since the owner doesn’t want to return the first month nor the deposit.
Badi is taking zero risk and doesn’t do the job whatsoever and I strongly advise future room seekers to think twice before using this platform.
Equally refrain from renting rooms that belong to Isabelle Bosch (and her representative Mati).

The previous reviews are so unfair. They have an excellent customer support and also a safe method for booking and paying. I moved to Barcelona to study and I tried different platforms. This one is the best. I like that you can check and filter according flatmates. I don't know in other cities but in Barcelona there is a lot of rooms.
Scammers are everywhere on the internet, you are foolish if you ignore this. Badi provides a safe and free method. You pay by credit card and they keep the money. If the room is OK they send the money to the owner of the flat after 48 hours. This way nobody can scam you! I don't understand why people put bad reviews without even reading whats about!

I went on this site and there were many conmen. One guy nearly conned me but I realised in time. Then I got in touch with another girl. I asked Badi customer service and they said that she is 100% verified and the apartment is 100% verified. Their exact words were "100% legal". When I went to pay the last step was a subtle redirect. It cost me 1300 euro not including going over to see the "apartment". They are taking no responsibility even though they vouched for her. The terms and conditions said that there is 20000 insurance against fraud. They are denying this and it looks like the terms and conditions have changed in the meantime. Needless to say there was no apartment and it was a con and there was no trust or guidance or help worthwhile from Badi other than fobbing me off. If they had no customer service, it would be better because they gave me false information.
