when we bought stuff from these people two years ago, we had to pay taxes at the end of the year for these items. what kind of business does this and they claim they are all about America but their customer service department is in the Philippines!! talk about sellouts.

I ordered what I thought were sets of pajamas their website shows a hoodie and pants together. After almost three weeks I finally got the hoodie but no pants. The hoodie cost just under $50. It took me several attempts and over an hour to be answered by customer service only to have them tell me no the pants don't come with that even though they are pictured with the hoodie. The customer service representative was just slightly arrogant. I don't know why it took them that long to answer the phone but when I called to order something someone answered immediately. I also had two other items which they put on backorder that lasted 2 weeks finally it said not picked. At this point I sent an email to their customer service as it showed on their website I got nothing back after 48 hours and it was supposed to be an answer after 48 hours. So I sent in a cancellation but was never sent an email saying but they actually canceled the order. When I finally was able to get them on the phone I was able to confirm that they did cancel it however I plan to make sure that they can't charge anything to my Discover card because I don't trust them. The hoodie I got was beautiful I will admit qualities very nice one shirt that I got from them was not true to size. The other is very nice and it is true to size but I will never order from this company again.

I placed an order for my wife for Christmas. 3 personalized mats all with the exact same farm name. One came in correct two were wrong. They replaced the wrong ones but charged my account for them even after the wrong ones were returned and i was assured that I would not be charged again. After a month we got it all straight i thought. Then just last week (this is February now) I get an email from them saying my order is on the way, WHAT ORDER?????? I called again and was assured again that it was just a email sent by mistake and no charges would be placed on my account. . Today I checked my bank account and there is a charge from this dumb ass company. And i just got an email from fedex saying a package is coming. Now I'm waiting on another refund. As soon as my bank opens i will call and place a permanent STOP payment on this company and I will never do business with them again. DUMB DUMB DUMB and extremely incompetent!

I can not recommend backinthesaddle.com.....the vip club is a scam. The shipping is too expensive to make their clothes a fair value. The vip club is so slow and difficult that you may never collect any refund. I feel cheated.

I can not recommend this company. After 3 months I noticed they have been deducting 15.99 out of my account for their "VIP program" which I did not ask for. I called them and they did refund my money. However, because of this I have lost faith in them. I can't order from them anymore because I don't trust them. Aside from all of this, their items take a very long time to arrive, and while they give you the illusion that you have the ability to track, the status will always be "in process" until the day it arrives. Customer service is dismissive. there are plenty of other online stores to buy from. Stay away from Back in the Saddle.

I saw what looked like a nice racing horse embroidered cap on their site. I ordered it and paid thirty dollars including shipping. The cap which should have been in a box, arrived in a plastic bag all wrinkled. It was the poorest quality cap I have ever seen. No backing on the crown like the one on display. Tried it on and looked in the mirror and just started to laugh. How can they sell such garbage. Actually that's were it ended up in my garbage can. Do not buy from this company. They are a joke. I complained to them and they sent me an email saying they were sorry.

Back in the saddles customer service is the worst I have ever encountered!!! I have tried to exchange a gift I recd. They denied it was theirs although it was in the catalog. Now ,2 mos later they refuse to send back my original gift top. Win win for them I guess.

I recently found out I have been being charged $15 per month for several months for some VIP membership that I never signed up for. I've only ordered one item from this company--a handbag--and it fell apart within three months of use. Do not make the mistake of purchasing from Back in the Saddle. Stick with SmartPak instead.

What they fail to tell you about their return policy is that they do not pay to return items that, for any reason, does not work. I bought a pair of sandals that were too small, put them back in the box as per their instructions and brought it to the post office. The post office would have charged me $17.32 to ship back sandals which I paid $44.95. Remember, I also paid for the shipping of the order to me which was $13.99. I called them and talked to two people, one who could barely speak English, before asking for a manager. The manager told me that their policy did not include return shipping for any reason. Totally not worth buying from them, stay away!

I ordered a shirt and added express shipping ("guaranteed" delivery in 3-5 days) to it so it would be received by the night of my birthday dinner. I paid $14 for shipping and the product was never sent via express shipping and I received my package 13 days later. I called customer service (in the Philippines) and they were friendly but had no power to refund my shipping charges. The phone# for the corporate HQ on www.Bloomberg.com is incorrect. I will never order from them again and now I'm stuck with a shirt I don't need that I overpaid for. Lesson learned.

This is an update from my previous review. I still have not received my order. Now when I look on the site the date keeps changing as to when my order will ship. Two emails to customer service have not been responded to at all. I did get an email from them saying they received my email and customer service would contact me within 48 hours. That was 4 days ago. Still nothing. I'm not going to waste anymore of my time trying to contact them. I will never ever order from this company again and I will continue to warn people 'Buyer Beware'!

The CS line is advertised as "24/7" but when I called to ask why my Christmas order was "cancelled" and WHO cancelled it 3 weeks ago without TELLING THE FREEKING CUSTOMER??? Horrible. I will never order from a catalog again until I have checked this website. Sitejabber is WONDERFUL, Just wish I had heard about it before I decided to order from Back in The Saddle.

BEWARE of customer service... or lack thereof! I received a gift that is one of their "exclusive" products. I was told I have to get the contact information of the giver to them in order to exchange for something else! So basically I have to go to the gift giver and tell them I didn't like the gift and want to exchange it??? The exchange will be linked to her account and she could find out! So much for the "unconditional" guarantee, "IF FOR ANY REASON YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR PRODUCT, SIMPLY RETURN IT FOR A PROMPT AND COURTEOUS EXCHANGE, CREDIT, OR REFUND OF THE MERCHANDISE PURCHASE PRICE..." Apparently, gifts don't fall in this category. Very disappointing considering they have great products.

The Back in the Saddle products are excellent quality. I've been ordering from the since 2000. All the products always came rapidly. I've ordered both textiles, boots, jewelry, shorts, and tops, jackets. they have always come fast and been of great quality. Don't understand all the complaints here.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I placed an on-line order and learned it wouldn't be shipped in time. I called customer service to add expedited shipping (and add an additional item) and was told once the order was in the system it could not be modified, but it could be canceled. I was told the on-line order would be canceled and a new order was taken for the 2 items plus the expedited shipping. I received both the on-line order and the phone order. The on-line order has still not been resolved after 6 weeks of disputing the charge. I'd never recommend this merchant.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ordered Christmas gifts for my nieces on 12-8. On 12-14 finally received an email stating on backorder. Called on the 16th and was told would be on the 19th. Called the 19th said it was in but had to go through quality control. Called on the 20th to find out it was still on backorder. Kept calling day after day to get another excuse. Received an email stating they were in on January 9th which I responded to on the 10th canceling the order per the instructions in the email. On January 27th received an email stating they were in the mail?!?!? I cancelled order. I called again and Tiffany said "Just reject the package". Called again on the 31st wanting to speak with supervisor but Walter thought he could handle it. NOT! Spoke with Nikki employee 139 which was just totally rude stating there was no way they could stop the package midstream. I called my local Post Office and they declined the package right there in the facility and finally on 2-2 Apostle Peter did his job with compassion and understanding. The one and only person through all them calls even cared their company screwed up royally. He did state the $59.90 would be refunded.....aaaa what about the shipping? That would have to be done on a different transaction. Really? But 2 weeks later both the $59.90 and $10.49 was refunded to my credit card. Could not believe this horrible experience and will NEVER and I mean NEVER order from BACK IN THE SADDLE or any of POTPOURRI's magazines again!

My husband ordered me 3 shirts, jacket and sweater early in December for Christmas. Everything said it was in stock. What I got for Christmas was 2 shirts and the sweater. About a week after Christmas the other shirt comes, still no jacket which is the one thing I really wanted. About a week into January still no jacket. When you call you only get people who answer the phone and don't have a clue about anything. I kept calling back, each time a different person would answer, finally I got someone who could give the name & number to a person over this whole group. Note that Back in the Saddle company is just one part of a larger company network which is based under the Potpourri Group. Upon calling her, she cancelled our original order (because it was going to my sister's house since that is where we had Christmas & in another city from where we lived); and placed the order for the jacket to be shipped to our address. Finally get this jacket that I so wanted and in my regular size, what a disappointment. I forgot to mention that the shirts were a little big, but being cotton I'm hoping I can wash them in warm or hot water and hopefully they will shrink some, also the sweater is a little big but not as big as the shirts, so it will be okay. Now the jacket, it is HUGE, the arms are so long you can't even see my hands, the shoulders hang off about 4", the arms are huge and the bust area is huge, the only part that fit was in the hips. When you look at the picture of the jacket on the website the sleeves do not show them to be that long. I emailed the person in charge and her is her response, "I have checked in on the sizing issue and was told that sizing varies by different vendors and makers, just like in a store a size l may fit great in one sweater and be to tight or too loose in another sweater of a different make. We do have an unconditional return policy, you may return it for refund or exchange at any time." In all my years I have never tried on an item in the store and it be this disproportionate in sizing. I feel this was just negligence on part of the companys oversight on sizing on their product and therefore they should pay for the return of shipping plus they want you to insure it. I don't plan to every buy from this company or any of their other companies again. Too bad, cause they really have some cute stuff.

I ordered a 38.00 sweatshirt for a Armed Services friend. She was deployed before Christmas to a very warm country. I returned the sweatshirt and it was delivered to the dock on Dec. 30th 2016. STILL WAITING for the credit!! Calling customer service is a WASTE OF TIME, you get transferred back to order entry and, even after speaking to a supervisor, I was told there is nothing they can do.I WILL NEVER, EVER, order from this company again!!!

I've ordered things form this catalog a few times and had no complaints besides the delayed shipping (at least it gets here, and that's what matters). I even tried the VIP membership discount, and although it was a bit tricky to do, I got my money back. Costumer service wasn't of much help, because they never replied, but I figured it out myself. The only thing I didn't like was the poor quality of one shirt I ordered; it was thin as tissue paper and ripped very easily, and theses boots I got that would be best described as mediocre. Other than that, it's alright.

I ordered my Granddaughters birthday on 11/4/16 and was told everything was in stock. Part of the order came on the 15th but still missing 2 items. I was assured the missing 2 items would go out that day but they didn't. Now it's the 18th & nothing! Customer service is horrible! I will never order from them again.

How long does it take for your warehouse to find the product ordered and send it out. I put in a order on Sept. 7 and am still waiting on it to leave the warehouse. Seriously does your customer service have no way of contacting the warehouse to find out what the hang up is!! Even the supervisors are very rude at the customer service and get no action at all! What kind of company treats their customers this way? Not a good one i
