waited 5 months to receive my order and still nothing and when asked for a refund they said they cancelled my order and will refund me that was close to 3 weeks ago and havnt heard back from them

I placed an order back in February for over $100. After weeks of no shipping updates I emailed them to cancel my order. I got no response. So I emailed them again. This time I got a one word response back--"Canceled." No other information. It's now been 3 weeks since that email and the charge is still on my credit card. I emailed them again and they replied, "I will send another request to accounting." I'm going to go through my credit card company to get the charge taken care of because they will not do a thing to help. I seriously question the legitimacy of this company. I do not think it's real. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

I ordered a backdrop back in December hoping to get it in January but had to cancel because it was never going to get to me on time for my travels. Customer service sent me an email my order would be canceled after asked for cancellation and would be refunded. I have not received any refund till today after countless email. There's no phone number to call as well. I went back to an order I cancelled in August 2019 and realized I never got a refund as they stated as well.

I purchases a lot from this company! I never received the products from my last order so I asked for a refund almost $100 this was midd December 2019. It is now February and still nothing. So they pretty much stole my money & kept the products. I send emails all the time never get an answer aside from the Auto messages. This is not Professional at all. Horrible communication! Having to use just email. Where is my MONEY!

After waiting months for a product I decided to cancel and ask for a refund.. 4 months later no refund, no product even after multiple emails they apologize and say it will be taken care of. Save yourself the hassle and go to joann fabric instead

Do not buy from this company. I'm getting the runaround and have had no resolution. They never even told me they didn't have the product I wanted in stock until a month after I enquired? Now I can't get a refund.

Our first order with this company was October 2019 for a 6x8 vinyl backdrop. The product came quickly and looked really good, so we decided to order from them again a few months later. In January, we placed two orders for two more vinyl banners. One was requested to be delivered in early February, the other in early March.
For the backdrop due in February, we were three days out from the deadline we had provided and hadn't heard anything about our product. The order showed as "unfulfilled" on their website. I reached out asking for a shipping status, and was told by their very kind graphic designer Ashley that their vinyl printer had broken a couple weeks prior and they wouldn't be able to fulfill the order in time. No one at Backdrop Outlet had communicated that this had happened and that our order wouldn't be fulfilled they simply weren't going to say anything at all and we just wouldn't get our order, had I not asked about it. I asked if they would issue a full refund and they did. I asked Ashley if we could receive a guarantee that our banner would be delivered on time for the March deadline and she said she could guarantee it would be there on time.
March comes around and luckily this banner arrives on time! However, it's not at all what we ordered, and the event we needed this for was 4 days from the time we received the banner so there wasn't any time to order a new one. Instead of a 6x8 quality vinyl print, they sent us a cloth version of the same size. The product had fingerprints all over it (most of the banner was white so the prints were quite visible), there was streaking from top to bottom of the banner across the entire design, and a few images were very grainy where they were otherwise clear in the final digital proof, even when zoomed in.
We reached back out to Backdrop Outlet to explain the issues and see what they could do to help us out. The very abbreviated version of what ended up being a long, contentious, and immensely unprofessional "customer service" interaction was: They could not guarantee a replacement in time for the event; If we used the banner at our event it would not be eligible for return; They then accused us of trying to get the product for free; We should be grateful they sent us the fabric version because it's a more expensive product (it's not- it's the same price as the vinyl); We should be grateful that they did us such a favor sending us SOMEthing to use for our event since their vinyl printer was still down (they again never communicated this). Never mind that the product still wasn't what we ordered, we were never consulted or asked if a fabric replacement would be sufficient they made that decision on their own, and the end product was still of very poor quality. The person was content with gaslighting us to the end of the world and back again, apparently shocked that we weren't groveling in thanks for the outcome of their very poor judgement.
Flash forward two days later and they sent us a "replacement" banner in vinyl, but the wrong dimensions and missing the entire top 1/3 of our banner design. The fabric banner was delivered back to them and we asked for an ETA on our refund. They said they wouldn't refund us because they sent us a vinyl "replacement," so we sent them an image of that replacement showing how it's missing the top 1/3 of the design and asking again for a refund, offering to also return that incorrect vinyl reprint to them. They responded by sending us a GIFT CARD for the value of the original purchase and told us they "do not do refunds per [their] policy as stated online." Except they previously told us they WOULD refund us if we returned the incorrect product, and they have refunded us before for the banner we never received in February. So now they're just refusing a refund entirely, despite sending us two incorrect products that aren't at all what we originally ordered and we have to dispute it with our card company.

I placed an order in late July. I received an order confirmation. Then, I received no products. Nothing. Crickets. I go to their web site to call them and find no number published. Hmmm. Thankfully I found the number on Yelp. Once I actually got them on the phone to ask about the order, they magically sprung into action (more than two weeks after the order) and shipped SOME of the products. Part of the order. The rest was "back ordered" they said.
Part of the order I did receive was four floor drops. Two identical drops, printed twice. NOT what I ordered. I had ordered four different floor drops. To their credit, they shipped out replacements for the two missing pieces, and gave me a mailing label to return the duplicates. That's the only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of 1.
They claimed the back ordered items were delivered to my front door, which was incorrect. When I emailed customer service, they said "They were delivered, you'll have to have the post office track it." In other words, "not our problem". Well, the SHIPPER has to initiate traces, not the recipient. Idiot. And, when I called them to let them know the tracking information they provided was the tracking information for a different part of the order entirely, the person on the phone confirmed that those products had not, in fact, shipped, but were back ordered.
So, despite their incompetency, I ordered five vinyl floor drops for me to use in the studio, thinking those would be easy enough for them to print and ship. That was 18 days ago. When I asked for updates on that shipping time via email, once again, I receive no answer. It was only when I threatened to challenge the charge if I didn't hear from them that they even bothered to email me back to tell me the items from the July order are still on back order. And no information was provided on the floor drop order from 18 days ago.
I emailed them this morning and told them to just cancel the second order entirely. I also told them to refund me the back ordered product cost as well. I'm confident I'll have to do a charge back with my credit card before I even warrant their attention. This has been a frustrating experience to say the least. There's a reason there are so many bad reviews about this company. I tell you, the hassle is not worth any price savings over a more reputable company.

Backdrop Outlet really came through for me when I ordered a backdrop and the shipping became an issue. They made sure to have another backdrop shipped right to the location where I was working and needed it! I cannot say enough about their customer service and products. I will always go to Backdrop Outlet.

They had the worst support I have ever experienced. Every response was the same and there was no progress. They should know that if you use USPS, it's OK to ship to a P.O. Box, and they kept telling me they couldn't. If they've been in business for awhile, they should already know that! They also kept saying that the number I provided wasn't valid. The number that I use daily, was not valid. They also didn't answer a lot of the questions I had asked them. I got two emails saying two of my backdrops were shipped. I asked them about it because I was aware they don't ship to a P.O. Box and I never got an answer about that. I also asked them if they tried the two other numbers I provided them (for their voice verification) to see if it worked and they never answered that question either. They're support service was absolutely confusing and such a cluster fork. I can't express enough that it was just the absolute worst. I quickly looked online for other backdrop services and was so relieved to find one and I first asked their support on chat if they can verify if they are able to ship to a P.O. Box. They immediately responded that they had checked USPS and that they are able to ship here. Easy as pie... but not with Backdrop Outlet. I would give no stars for their customer service if I could.

When I first started my family photography business, I found backdropoutlet to be the one place I went to stock up on backdrop and faux flooring for my photography studio. They had great options and it really helped me to set the tone for the type of photos I wanted to be taking. And their prop selection is awesome AND affordable!

Photography Supplies - Great site for backdrops and ther equipment. Their prices are very good and they have everything you could need. The website itself is a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it is easy to navigate. Check it out...you won't regret it.

Great Site - This is a wonderful site for those who have the cash to expend on supplies. However in the current economical climate.. I would suggest of being creative to come up with good stand ins instead of spending large amounts of cash at least until the economy gets better.
