I don't like to share too many negative shopping experiences, but this time I have to. I ordered from AutoAnything on the 16th and I really wish I had read the online reviews before I made my purchase. Google companies before ordering.
I called the company on Saturday, because I had tracking numbers that said 2 of the 3 packages we were expecting were already delivered on Friday. Hmmm .... We only received one package. Well, we are leaving Wednesday morning (just 4 days away) so if our package is lost and we need to order a hitch from another company we need to do it right away. So we called the company to find out what was going on.
The man on the line said that the two packages we were missing, had been shipped but were still in route. Only 1 package had been delivered. The other 2 packages would be delivered soon (our receipt said delivery 4/19-4/23). Ok awesome, as long as they're here by the 23rd we're great.
Today, a second package arrived. AWESOME! So excited. We rushed home to get to work on installing the hitch. Nope. No hitch kit.
I called today. Same man I can barely understand on the phone. Said the package was already shipped and he didn't have a shipping number. After a 30 minute hold, he said he's going to "call the manufacturer again." Ok. I'm on hold again. Man comes back on the line and said our item is out of stock with the manufacturer. That they "must have sold my item." But, 30 minutes ago at the beginning of our call, he said that he called the manufacturer and that they already shipped my item.
What. The. Heck. Man.
Then, I talked to the glorious Supervisor Frank, just as he was sitting on his throne of lies. And let me tell you, this man does not CARE about you, your money or your order. Not in the least. He's just there to answer all the complaint calls and to tell you that you're a dumbass for ordering from their company and there isn't $#*! they can do about it (or that they will do about it). He said "we sell items that are in stock."
Then, how is my item out of stock Frank?
End result? They took my money. I have no idea if or when the item will be shipped. I may get a return on my funds in 48 hours if the manufacturer releases my order. I get to pay at least $100 for last minute shipping with another company.

Ordered floor liners for 2009 Silverado. Upon ordering, they asked the vehicle make, model, year, and many details. Floor liners did not fit. At all. I did a chat to try to return them. He said that he would make a note on my account that the return was approved, but that I would need to call during regular hours. I called. The lady was rude and asked for me to send pictures. I sent pictures and they replied that they did not see a problem and that was how the liners were made. They literally would not fit inside my truck. They approved a return but I would need to pay shipping myself and pay a 20% restock fee. Bull! I'll sell them to someone else. I spent many hours and money on this crap company. Never again! Beware.

I purchased a Belltech lowering kit from AUTOANYTHING Part# 569SP for a 2002 Chevy Blazer. I spoke to their technical support line before ordering to confirm that I did not need to change the spindles or control arms for this kit to fit. I was assured it was direct fir to oem parts. Well that is not true. the rear went in fine, the front two shocks do not fit in the control arm like the original oem shocks. It is a night mare to deal with this company so I just cut the bolt holes on the shocks and made them work. When you spend 800 dollars on a lowering kit you would expect it to fit!!!

I can say I haven't had to bad of experiences buying items on line....until I dabbled with AutoAnything.
Website looks good but here's my story. Placed order for a trailer hitch one evening, 10 minutes later I realized I ordered the wrong style, so I received a cancellation noticed that night. The next day, I received an email saying sorry, the hitch had been shipped, simply call this phone # to get easy return instructions.
The next day, I received hitch on my door step, NOT IN A BOX!! no mounting hardware!
I called the next day, after waiting a half hour to talk to someone, I got no where. The operator was very soft spoken, in a VERY noisy room. Claims he sent me an email with the return labels and mumbled something about a stocking fee. I'm still waiting for the email. I called my credit card company to cancel payment and they were very helpful.

Clearly on the order form it says billing adress shipping adress. These idiots would not ship because the 2 addresses were different. Why offer this option?
And when the order was denied why not let the cardholder know it's not being shipped.??? Long live Walmart and amazon.
These knuckleheads have zero communication skills.

After ordering a part they created a shipping label and then sat on it for five days before shipping it to the wrong address. I noticed by the FedEx tracking number that the package was going somewhere other than my address. I called customer service and was told that it was being shipped to my address and not to worry, well it was delivered someplace else. Called again and they blamed FedEx and was told that customer service would call me the next day with an up date when FedEx retrieved the package. Three calls to customer service and always told they would call me back. Never happened. Bottom line, took over three weeks to get my part and much frustration with customer service.

Ordered seat covers for my dad's birthday which was two weeks away. This was on 3/17/19, said they would ship between 3/30 and 4/1. Called today 4/2, on his birthday and now they won't ship till 4/10. Will never order anything from them again. Paying extra $100 is worth getting your order when it's expected.

Auto Anything has misleading descriptions on the items they sell. I ordered a set of side steps for my truck that were advertised as 4.75" wide. I received them only to find out that they were 7" wide?
Double checked the listing and they were described as 4.75". Called their customer service and requested a return and refund of my monies because of the incorrect description.
Was told that the listing described the steps as 7", I reexamined the listing and found in small, unbolded font what they were talking about. One's eyes doesn't see this and continues down to the larger and bolder font description. The description listed
describes a different Havoc sidestep, the HS2 that has the 4.75" steps, not the HST model.
Long story short, they'd take them back but I'd have to pay the $77 plus shipping, WHAT? Their mistake but I'd have to pay for the return shipping?
Talked to the "claimed to be" customer service supervisor and argued with him to no avail but he did reduce the shipping to $50.
This clearly wasn't my mistake, I will never ever order anything from them again and will do my best to inform others to steer clear of this company.

I have accessorized three vehicles through this company. They have been nothing but helpful and their products have been top-notch. I will continue to use some for any future vehicles or current vehicles that I have if I need accessories. They've always been helpful and matched accessories to my exact vehicle and everything has always fit perfect the first time around. Never had to send anything back. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I do not understand the negative reviews that have been posted other places.

Order a part (any part) get charged immediately. One week later find out part is "back ordered" and it will take a month to get your part. One month turns into six weeks. Call them to cancel order, wait over an hour when your wait time is "approximately five minutes". Cancel order and get notified the next day by Email than a refund takes three to five days. They are floating your money to inflate their accounts. You have been warned!

Anything I ordered from this company is reasonably priced chips fast and the sales people are very knowledgeable and if you call in live you can usually get a 10% discount

Ordered a lumber rack for our company truck.... a month later still not received and so I contact customer service. There response is that it is back ordered and they don't have a date when it will be available.... I already waited a MONTH, and now I have to start over with a different company. I should of been contacted the moment it was put on back order, not when it is already late. In addition to the fact that I am the one who contacted them! Will never order from this company again

I ordered some seat covers. I put in all the parameters of my vehicle, year, make model etc... No where on the pictures of seat covers does it show the seat belt mechanism on the driver or a passenger seats. I receive the seat covers and surprise they do not fit. I sent them back and get an email saying that I will have to pay for a 20% restocking fee because THEIR website listing is misleading AND incorrect. Then they say the returned item must pass an inspection before the final refund will be processed. I wrote in my return email that they will probably bang me for more money because the plastic bag was not closed properly or the seat covers were not stacked in the order they were sent or the shipping label was askew or the box was taped wrong or some other BS excuse. I also said the $ 50 or so dollars they are charging me should go towards a back brace for the person who has to restock such a heavy 4 pound box.
READ THE REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY ON OTHER SITES AS WELL , THE REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE ARE STACKED! .
I disputed the charge to my credit card and filed a complaint with the BBB, it sounds like they are on a first name basis with the BBB with all the bad reviews.
Buy form a real company like amazon.

this company i ordered my wheels from sent me the wrong wheels dont have the right wheels so they charge me to take back there crap....unless i order something else that does not fit .this online crap just made my decision to not order wheels again from a little crappy business in san diego ca,but from a more reputable company i typed in my van info it sends me to auto anything sorry crappy sight .and i order what i think is 3/4 ton wheels .and they send me the wrong thing ...im gonna post all over to all my car buddys to never use this little crappy bus in ca...

They won't tell you an item is on back order until well after you have already made you purchase. And that's after three weeks of late shipping notifications and a phone call to them requesting an explanation. Cancelled my order and went with Autohance where they emediately confirmed in stock and ships the same day. The reviews for this company say it all I just wish I would have checked them first.

so i ordered a brake set a couple months ago while they were on sale, a week goes by and i get an email saying i need to accept the revised shipping date which is a month from when i ordered the brakes, i accept. a week after i accept i get another notification saying the order was cancelled because i didnt accept the revised date. i went through a whole $#*! show trying to figure out how to re order the brakes and still get the discount. after i order them it says i will get them in a week, cool. after that week i get a revised shipping date notification AGAIN so i accept it, its about a month out. i wait till the day before i was supposed to get them and they said they cancelled the order because they dont know when they are going to get the brakes from the supplier. so here i am running terrible brakes on my car for 2+ months all because they couldnt put on their site that they are out of stock.

Why tell customers that a part (denso O2 sensor) is in stock when it isn't? I ordered and they did match the lowest price found (including shipping/taxes), so I will give them that, but 2x since then I have received 2 different emails....... the first about 5 hours after ordering, saying that the shipping date has been delayed, first they pushed it back 3 days, then on the day it is supposed to ship...... they send another email saying the shipping date has been pushed back another 5 days. To be perfectly honest an order being pushed back by a week isn't a big deal, however I don't trust that when that day rolls around I won't be getting another email saying the shipping date is changed again. Obviously reading the other reviews on this site, I can tell that this happens a lot.......... or worse they send you the wrong thing. I talked to customer service and canceled the order and then ordered from another store. I guess the moral of the story here is don't order from this store if you'd like your purchase any time soon.

bought seat covers for a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab... They send me seat covers that are too small. The reason is the documentation states they are made for a 2011-2014 Dodge ram.. I took photos and Autoanything would NOT issue me a fed ex return label. I had to spend another $100.41 to ship to them. I have an open case with Paypal & Chase against them and hope to get my $828.51 plus the $100.41 for shipping.

2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited dash fit perfectly, right out of the box. Didn't even need to use the enclosed Velcro fasteners. Customer Service via chat, before I made the purchase was great as well. The technician was well informed and able to answer all my questions.

I was told if seat covers did not fit, that I would not have to pay for return shipping. Turns out this is not true. Not only do you have to pay to return items that don't fit, you also have to pay a 15% re-stocking fee. I have ordered from them before and didn't have any issues, but I will never order from them again. Beware when buying from them - they do have good prices, but if an item does not fit you are going to lose big.

I ordered a K style rear view mirror for my MPV Van . Item came in exactly 3 days. Put new mirror on in less than one minute, because old mount on window from manufacturer was intact after removing bad old mirror. No more constant adjusting mirror due to worn swivel hole holding mirror. Paid under $20 as an original replacement would have been well over $100. Definitely recommend using them.
