I didn’t want to spend my time to write this because Audi service is even not worth it but couldn’t let it go! I have one word to describe them and that is to call them Thief’s!!
For sure I am gonna make a case against them and pleas everyone that had bad experience with Audi service in Aarhus just take your time and pleas e-mail me and let me know what went wrong that is very much appreciated to help me to help us all! This is an e-mail I sent to Audi about 1-2 months ago and I waited more than 2 weeks and still no answer from anybody. I had to call again to get a meeting with someone to tell them these issues with the hope that something will change, but nothing has. If you want to be treated in a certain way and professionally, do not take your car to their service.
"My car got hit about 2 weeks ago at which point I called Audi to schedule me in order to fix and paint my car. They booked me for Tuesday the 4th of February. I asked for a car in return, because I use my car for work and I really needed a personal transportation. They said that it’s no problem, I’ll get a car from what they have rented.
I came Tuesday at 9am, like it was scheduled and the lady at the front desk from Skadecenter, said that I have 100km/day or a total of 700km for the week that my car will be in service. Something which was not good for me, because I drive for work around 130km/day. When I said that “This should have been mentioned to me when I asked for another car.” At which point she replied with “If you don’t want it, I’ll take the car back and you can get the bus.” I’m not sure about you, but when I choose to take my car there and not somewhere else, and nonetheless, an Audi showroom, I expect to be treated just a bit better than that. I felt embarrassed and quite frankly, I felt like I was treated just like a random nobody that asked for a favor and not for something that it was going to be paid at the end. I am actually quite curious about this, is everyone that gets inside treated this way? Or is it just me, because I don’t speak Danish or what other reason can it be? I didn’t do anything to deserve this.
Nonetheless, I decided to accept the deal and not say anything about the remark with the bus. Then I was asked to pay for an extra insurance, which I thought was highly unfair. I didn’t hit my car, it was hit and the other insurance should have paid everything for the rental car. I already pay more than enough for my insurance, I didn’t need another one for a car that it wasn’t mine or that I didn’t actually wanted to have, because I needed mine. I said that I don’t want it, I signed and left.
The car that I was given was a VW Up. I have an Audi A4, which is nowhere near the same size or range. As far as I know, I’m supposed to get something similar to my own.
Friday morning while I was at work, I hit a rock by mistake and the oil pan got damaged. I called Skadecenter first thing in the morning and explained the situation. They said to bring it and that it may be a possibility to be fixed today. I took it back to Audi right after the talk. I didn’t stop to fuel up because I thought it’s going to be fixed and given back. Apparently I have to pay for that an extra 100 too because I didn’t fill up the tank. Since the car was damaged, I couldn’t have stopped anyway to loose time at a gas station. I was gonna fill up at the end of the rental period.
They said there that since I didn’t get the insurance, I have to pay the “selvfrisko” which was 5000dkk, if the reparations cost that much. This was after I had to count each km wherever I drove to not go over, because I didn’t want to pay 2kr/km after the 700km.
When I talked to them, they said that they have no other cars they can give me until Monday. No other cars in Audi, VW, Skoda. I don’t mention Porsche because I don’t expect a Porsche instead of my A4, but still, any other car from those 3 showrooms. Since I didn’t have a car from Friday morning, I had to take 3 days off work because I couldn’t do my job without a car. Somehow they managed to fix the VW UP until today, but my car took a week to be done.
I called today (Monday the 11th) to see if maybe my car is done so I wouldn’t get another rental car for a day. They said it will be by 16 o’clock. They called me around 15:15 to say that I can come to get the car. I asked until what time are they opened and said 16. I got there, by bus, of course, 15:46 or so. Skadecenter was closed. They said they will be open until 16:00. On the door it said clearly 15:45. I got the key from the Audi showroom and when I wanted to leave, the airbag light was on. This was not on when I left the car there, so I went back and explained the situation to Brian and this he was able to fix.
I talked to other people about how I got a car from the showroom and had a km limit, extra insurance and so on and they said whenever they got their car fixed, the km and insurance was not an issue because they were given service cars. Apparently, that is not the case here.
As you can see, it was a long and stressful week, and somehow I’m the one that has to pay over 5000dkk because someone hit my car. I had to loose hours and money from work and be stressed about km and to try to manage with a VW UP when I have a bigger car.
Not to be rude or anything, but never have I ever had such a bad customer experience in my life from a brand that prides itself in high quality in all areas. "
