PT 2 FRAUD: I got a confirmed cancellation from ATT but AttSavings sent an installer anyway. I told him I had canceled & already set up with another company. Either he or AttSavings LIED & reported a successful installation at my address, so ATT began billing me for an account I didn't know I had, under the landline phone number I didn't know I had. They defrauded me and the real/official ATT company!
PT 1 before fraud: Didn't realize I was at a third-party website. Wondered why the price was so terrible, but I was moving, maybe they were all really expensive there? Official ATT doesn't even cover my address! Thankfully I was able to get out of it. Lots of research after the suspicious phone call, in time to cancel. They still sent me a modem after I canceled. Not sure how to return. Hope I don't get a bill.

To schedule an installation date for cable and internet appointment is very difficult. I work 5 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. AT&T does not offer in person installation services after 5 p.m. nor have enough workers to have an installer come on a Saturday or a Sunday. When I call into the AT&T quite a few operators do not speak English clearly nor understand my request.
May I suggest AT&T hire mor cable and installers to met the growing demand for , after hours, Saturday and Sunday services for customers who have other obligations such as work. Far as workers who have limited English I would provide training for workers and/or hire individuals where English is their first language.

I switched from TWC hoping to be pleasantly surprised with the service of ATT. Unfortunately, I haven't been pleased. First my appointment got scheduled for the wrong time. I called back to have it rescheduled. Next, when the technicians came, they encountered a problem that couldn't be resolved same day and had no time estimate for how long it would take to resolve. I had to call back to the main service center and they told me 5 business days. A whole week without interest is a great inconvienience, especially when I scheduled the installation for a day when I knew I could be home from work. Very disappointed this far.

I got my at&t Internet set up on 10/8. The guy told me everything would be turned on in 2 days of our phone call. I get an email after everything is done advising me it would be set up on 10/14 which I was not going make a big deal about. Upon reading the emails on 10/13 it stated I would get a self install kit prior to installation (which is 10/14) and I have not received anything. I called them and they told me "it was sent to me". Now I have to wait from them to resend it to me which means my Internet will not be turned within 2 days of my initial call or on 10/14 as I was told by at&t. Extremely frustrating and not happy with at&t service and has nothing to do with the product but more their customers service reps and empty promises.

So after 5 phone calls to AT&T to do something as simple as a move of existing service to a new address, which also requires changing the phone number, there is exactly the same revolving door. I know the new number and the expected service date, but "There is a problem with processing your order". As a stockholder, this is the worst possible customer service ever imaginable. Maybe they really want people to change service providers.

Att you changed my install date after I took a day off work to be there for are fist date. Called in to ask about this and was hung up on. Not very good customer service if you ask me

I called AT&T Uverse after getting nowhere with my current plan on Xfinity. The phone call that I had w/the Uverse rep was so phenomenal, it was a no brainer to switch over. I checked my email account & sure enough, I had a confirmation email immediately from Uverse. However, unbeknownst to me, an appt change was sent directly after I logged off. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until the last few minutes of my initial appt's window time. It was then that I found out that my appt had been rescheduled for a day that I'm not even home! How dare they assume my schedule & risk sending out a tech out without direct communication with the prospective client! In lieu of the insensitive communication flaw, I rescheduled, but am now rescheduled out 1.5 wks past my initial scheduled appt. One day, a company will come along and finally get it right. Until then, we're stuck with having to put up with mediocre customer service.

The ATT representative I spoke to advised that the service box could support 8 televisions. The tech spent 8 hours in our home and at the end when we were checking the stations found out the service box could only support 4 tvs at a time. ATT ran my credit when they knew their service was inadequate; charged $12.99 for tech support which I have not received back yet. Overall the experience was really horrible.

They still have not done my installation. I was told that my address was not in the data system. I spoke to the previous owner of my home & she told me she had Direct TV (the dishes are still on the house) plus my neighbor at 1502 (my address is 1506) has AT&T Internet so please explain why all the hassles! I have spent endless hours on hold & still no results. I stI'll would like service but this is ridiculous. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The initial customer service experience was pleasant. He was nice and called me back promptly to help determine which internet plan was best for our family usage. During the call, I specified that I did not want to pay the $99 installation fee and for AT&T to just mail the modem. However, I received text that a tech will be coming out on 10/27 to install the modem. I had to call in to cancel. The customer service rep told it was cancelled upon my request BUT I still received a text stating that a tech was going to come out!

I had the internet hooked up at my new apartment last Tuesday. The technician was at my place for almost 2 hours. WiFi connection was working when he left, then about 1 hour later it would not connect and I am still unable to connect. It has been 6 days. I was on the phone on hold for 10 minutes and supposedly the issue will be resolved tomorrow.

I was setting up my services to begin a home business. I was told that I could change the set up date to an earlier date if necessary, however I was unable to accomplish this. I called three seperate days and each time was told that there were no cancellations and no earlier dates that I could receive the materials to install the services. It delayed my ability to meet some business deadlines and I almost considered canceling my services. I also was told I would receive a $25 visa gift card with my order, however I have not recieved the gift card. The person whom took my initial order was kind, professional, and knowledgable. He was able to answer all of my questions and to make good reccomendations based on my needs. When I had technical difficulties with the set up of my services I was able to receive a next day visit from a technician and my problem was resolved along with him registering my services online as well as informing me of what was going on (I was at work when he visited my home while my roommate was there) while he worked out the issue.

I was told the merger wasn't far enough along to let me bundle....I have 8 months left on Direct TV....seems a little odd I have to install a dish just to change to Uverse TV in 8 months. I have a new townhouse and don't want the dish on my roof. Jim

We maybe the lucky ones but, our entire process was so easy and quick I was impressed!
1. Ordered online- fast easy and painless
2. New place was not ready had to call the day of install and cancel
3. THey were so nice and friendly and it was handled fast and without any headaches
4. New new place reordered by phone. So easy and quick
5. Installed right on time as planned. Twice as much as we had with TWC for half the cost!
6. Installer was Quick, polite, clean and a pleasure to talk to.
7. He walked us through everything and said to call if there were any issues at all.
Had to drop 1 star and the appointment was moved back 1 day (still under 3 days total) because nobody is perfect. Very well done

I didn't get to pick my account info. It was assigned for me. They installed our main phone with answering machine downstairs - so my mother will have trouble getting her messages now. Oh, and they installed the equipment in our bar area - who installs office equipment in living space that is used to entertain guests like that? Who? Ugh. It's so ugly. (Supposedly it was installed in the most horrible space ever because it's central to everything. Except it is not central and everything in use is on the other side of the house!) And they may have ruined some of our wood trim in the bar area during install. It's hard to tell since they didn't clean up any of their mess from installation. So unprofessional. Will never recommend this service to anyone.
