Summer holiday and time with family from the USA is something we have been so excited about and looking forward to for a really long time. And it became a totally disappointing start, when we arrived at the house we rented from Atraveo.
The house was dirty, run down and no air-conditioning - so not at all living up to what they sold us.
Generally, we believe that Atraveo has sold and advertised a product that was falsely described on the web site, and the relationship between the product offered and the price charged was severely wrong!
In this disastrous situation we were offered no help with a complete lack of customer service from Atraveo and the local staff and owner. We left because we are traveling with a sick person who needed air-conditioning and rest.
Now nobody is taking responsibility and we have been calling, writing and trying to be in a dialogue about this....but everybody is pointing to somebody else!

Very expensive cancelation.
I have booked a house and was forced to cancel the booking for personal reasons. Even tough it was more than 2 months until the check in date, they require 25% of the full price in compensation. This in the conditions where almost everywhere you can cancel for free or for a small amount.

great site,to find a good place,got a great penthouse in albufeira,for the price of a hotel,everithing was very professional,we pay to atraveo,we will use it again !
