I received my new phone in the time I expected however, they told me I would be getting a silver model, which is what I had, and it arrived in black. I don't like the black and the silver is a more unique color, but I need a phone and assume it will have to do.

I had to worst possible experience
What I put in the claim they told me there was a placement phone and stalk
And I would have is next business day
5 days later I finally got my phone
Every day I call them every day they had a different excuse and find me told me I would get my phone when I got my phone
I did get my phone and the phone sucks I should have kept the phone I had and just Use the speaker for phone calls

It was so easy to work with this company and when I got to the customer representative who helped me, he made the conversation enjoyable and before I knew we were done, so I waited for 3 days and my new phone came and in the box was everything I needed to return the old phone. I wish all companies had that kind of service. Thanks Assurance!!!

Hello, I have been a longtime customer of Google (over 10 years) and happy to see there was an insurance program offered in case of accidental damage. My gripe is not with the service but moreover the communication during the claims process. I live near a lake, and unfortunately I had a bad 2 summer months and my phone recieved water damage two times (pixel 3aXL has virtually no sealing) and upon receiving my "new" phone (refurb) the charging port was not working properly but as my luck would have it this phone also was dropped in the water and I had to file a claim the 2nd time under water damage. Upon reciving my 2nd replacment I had no issues untill I cracked the screen (3 days of having). In disbelief, I went forth attempting to do a 3rd claim. I typically have a phone for years without and damage but I was experiencing a string of bad luck. During the claims process of the 3rd time I populated all of the information and even selected the walk-in repair option and entered my CC info and paid the deductibale and clicked next after processing and recieved my claim number and location to head to for the repair. I printed as the website suggested and headed to the certified shop at UBREAKIFIX whom was extremely helpfull. During this process the attendand began to work on the phone after seeing my printed paperwork and claim, although upon returning the associate had issues pulling up the claim informaiton and we had to call Assurant to resolve. Once speaking to a representative I was informed my claim was denied to my dismay, I was shocked as it took over 40 minutes one way to travel to the location specified and processed my CC on the site and stated to print the claim for my records. I then in disbelief asked to speak to a supervisor "Daniel" on Sept 16 2019 about my incident as I thought surely we could come to some sort of agreement due to the lack of communication on Assurant's site and leading me astray on the claim. Daniel, the supervisor had other plans in mind and was unwavering in his approach to come up with any solution as I descrived the situation to him. I was shocked, that after the lack of communication and mislead information there was nothing that could of been done. I would of thought that a loyal customer like myself would of been worth something as long term committed contributer but I was wrong. Daniel even agreed with me as I recapped the process and led me to believe he knew it was misleading but still would not provide any solution. I wish there would of been something that could of been done as I will spread the word of my experience not only to other customers but also to Google about my interaction when I needed this service most.

This company was excellent ! I called to make my claim it was very simple and fast. The lady that helped me was very nice spoke English very well. My replacement phone was sent out next day. Very easy and fast. Very happy customer !

They auto renewed my renters insurance without warning and are not letting me cancel my policy. Been trying to cancel for weeks now, but the website is constantly having "Technical Problems". Having moved away from the states a call is too expensive as will no doubt be left on hold for hours on end. They also give no email address to get in contact on their website.

filed a claim 9-12-19 which Assurant says my bank denied. Bank says funds were released on 9-14-19. Waited a week to see if funds were either refunded to me or received by Assurant. Bank says funds were deducted and sent to Assurant. Assurant denies having received my payment FORCING me to use make payment with another financial institution. So currently going through processes to dispute with my bank to give me funds back after sending funds to Assurant.

I had insurance with T-Mobile for my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the screen started wiggin out. So I took it to the nearest store and they determined it was internal and covered through my insurance. The process was seamless and I received a new phone via mail practically overnight. The only part I didn't like was the $99 deductible. I paid off my phone entirely when I first bought it ($800-$900)and have been paying monthly insurance on the phone which has added up to about $400 on top of what I originally paid. I've only had the phone for about a year and a half

Approved my claim, shipped the device, never received it, got a notification that it was shipped back to them. Called and on hold for over 35 minutes before asking if they can call back when they find out what happened. Never called me back. Call back a day or two later. Call back and told it'll be shipped back out on in 6 days. Ask for someone who can maybe help me get it back faster since there was no delivery attempt (I was home that whole day.) Hung up on me after putting me on a 20 minute hold. Call back again and told the claim was actually cancelled and I need to send a letter in the mail to find out why. Oh yeah and they never refunded my deductible. Awful company.
