I broke my tooth the night before and am in pain and my dentist does not work Fridays. Their website says they have emergent care, walk-ins but I got there first thing in the morning I was told they are a full service dental office and do not have time for that. Said you can wait but don't know how long you'd wait. Even if you got in, the dentist would only take x-rays and do an exam but would not fix the problem today. I'd have to come back for an appointment. Even though my tooth is broke and my filling is exposed and cannot drink or eat and in pain. Website says they would try to find one of their offices to accommodate me day of if they could not but the office personal didn't offer anything to me nor tried to help me in any way.

Giving them one star because I have to give at least that. DO NOT get dental care here. We took our little girls for treatment. They did not tell me that they do not do dental work on kids, but they let me make the appointment, bring her in and cleaned her teeth. Then they told me they cannot do dental work (she was needing braces). So, I was upset that they did this, but figured no big deal because our insurance covered the cleaning anyways. Exactly a year and 5 months later, I received a bill for the teeth cleaning. So, I called their office and was told that it was not their job to file insurance. If this is the case, why was it not disclosed to me at that time? Their office staff is a joke and if you will look at the BBB complaints, you will see that they are a shady business that needs to be shut down. I told her that if she turns this over to collections, that I would file a complaint with the BBB and anywhere else that I could. So, I got the collections bill today and starting to fight this to the very end. This review is where I am starting, but have much more to do now. BTW THEY ARE WANTING $322.00 FOR A SIMPLE CHILDS TOOTH CLEANING!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I attempted to schedule a teeth cleaning after my consultation but everyone in this office failed to schedule a simple teeth cleaning because I was forced to do periodontal treatments first. I refused this treatment and suggestion because it was unnecessary. I got a second/third & fourth opinion from another dentists in the area and it turns out, the diagnosis at Aspen was BULLSH*T I do NOT need periodontal treatments and you guys failed me. I was trying to keep up on my teeth health and you did everything in your power not to make it happen. At no time during any of my interaction was I assured that my teeth health would be addressed and taken seriously. Every single interaction I had with the staff at Aspen was unpleasant, you guys were pushy and passive. You are nothing more than salespeople.

They should honor scheduled appointments before walk-ins. I had a similar emergency with a chipped molar (moderate discomfort) and was told to make an appointment. Why should I have to sit for 1hr+ the day of my appointment while their staff addresses a 'walk-in' patient? After an hr, I walked out. Will take me teeth elsewhere.

The office delivered horrible service multiple times! Neglected attention when it was most needed, never followed up neither finished the service .
First when a couple of years ago I had crowns done by this company I didn't have too many issues. I took out a smaller loan and was paying it down fast . Never missed a payment never had problems.
I went back a year later to get a bridge and another 2 crowns placed. I had a doctor who was 8 month pregnant looking at my X-ray. I had.m a Small black hole on one of my toot and after she analyzed the X-ray she said it's not a cavity it's a trauma on the tooth but she told me if I insist they can just remove it. I told her yes because I can't believe it's not a Cavity. When I went back for the procedure I had a different dentist. He ended up drilling for 45 minutes it was such a huge cavity. The other doc made a huge mistake.
I had lost crown 2 month ago. I called in that I was on a lot of pain and that I have an emergency . They didn't care at all gave me an appointment a week later. I had to get something over the counter to glue my broken crown back until I can see someone. It was very painful. I go in a week later. They've already numbed my face when the doctor comes in and informs me that they can't prep my tooth that day I have to come back another time. A WEEK LATER!! At this point I am so upset I ended up writing a review on their website . The review wasn't posted instead I got an email from the manager that they put some money back on my account And my review was never posted. I go back to get my tooth prepped . They numbed me again. The assistant who made the temporary crown drops it on the ground. Picks it up , washes it and acts like nothing happened. I had to go back a week or ten days later. I go in they numbed me again.. took the temporary crown off and they inform me that it doesn't fit I have to come back again. At this point I am tired of getting shots every other week and scared to go back because so far everything went wrong . I wrote them on the aspen dental page that is there any option for me to go to a different aspen office ( there is one in Daytona) Never heard back from anyone! Now I am here still with the temporary crown , they suppose to have my permanent crown but never heard from anyone.. The way they handle clients at this office is ridiculous and unprofessional ! I trusted them. Went back even after they made so many mistakes! Now they left me with a half done job.
I took a loan out for my dental work and I was paying them religiously and I still do even tho they are letting me down. Now I need to find a dentist now to make sure all previous work was done by this office won't be in endangering my heath in the future?

After waiting nearly a month for an appointment, the office cancelled my appointment without contacting me. NO call, text or email. Had my day/week planned around this appointment. They offered to reschedule another 2 weeks away. Ridiculous!!! My initial visit was a one and a half hour nightmare for simple x-rays and basic exam. The most unprofessional dental group around! If you love multiple visits and completely wasting your valuable time, this is your dentist!

“Aspen Dental is coming to California...WATCH OUT”

ADMI you know what you did to my mouth? You had your hygienist seat and seal a permanent crown at the instruction of YOUR dentist. ADMI this is illegal, yet you got away with it. The Dentistry Board did nothing as you already know (how much $$$ do you pay them anyway; just kiddin lol). It was them who told me what you did was illegal, yet they didn't do as much as slap your hand. Yes even though when I first called in the investigator said, "I hate corporate dentistry." Then you threatened me with your attorney which scared most of the TEAM away, at least in the beginning. Not me though, your scare tactics didn't as much phase me as I lived with the PAIN YOU CAUSED in my mouth. As such, ADMI I have NO OTHER RECOURSE than to dedicate for the rest of my life devoting time each month to warn as many people as possible to Stay Safe; Stay AWAY From Aspen Dental. I understand you are getting ready to infiltrate the State of CA, and ADMI I'm on the front lines as you pull in like a band of cockroaches. I'm working now in Modesto, but then will head over to Hollister. You see I went to College in Santa Cruz, CA and those areas are VERY familiar to me. As well as Fresno/Clovis/Visalia, and who would have thought, Palm Desert where I once lived at worked. I am disabled now as you know (your favorite type of victim), but I did work for the college there. YES I am VERY familiar with these areas, and as such what B.A.D. has decided to do is focus primarily on California. NO we are NOT going away......just want to spend our time wisely is all. Aspen Dental, we are just beginning to fight!

Aspen Dental, estamos empezando a pelear!

Had a tooth extracted a couple of days ago. This was the WORST experience I've had in dentistry. Their website makes sure to say that they will explain the procedure as it is happening, and will do everything to make the customer comfortable. Nothing was explained. The doctor simply confirmed the tooth I needed out and started jabbing at it. For one, when I asked for the gas (I get super anxious with stuff like this), I was simply ignored. I mentioned twice that I prefer to have the gas while I'm being operated on, and the assistant just acted like I was trying to make conversation or something. Also, no topical anesthetic before the injections? It's a small thing, maybe, but how much does a frickin bottle of orajel cost? And I'm sure as a corporate dentist, you can probably get a bulk deal.
So ten minutes into the procedure, the doctor says something under his breath about "this isn't working", and walks away for a half hour. At this point my tooth has been cracked and cranked on, and is bleeding all over, and noone says anything to me about what's going on. I'm just sitting there, alone, wondering if the doctor will get back before the anesthetic wares off.
Eventually he did return. He didn't say anything about what he was doing or why he was gone; just came back and started working again. Maybe that tooth was particularly difficult, I won't give him too much grief about the ridiculously brutal way he went about pulling the tooth, but I will say one thing: He kept trying to use one of my other teeth as a leverage point in order to pry on the loose one. I'm no expert, but that a crappy way to go about things, in my opinion.
Also, I was never informed that I had a prescription, or that I should take antibiotics for any reason. However, when I got home, I discovered that, apparently, a script had been called into my pharmacy. Not that it mattered much, since they prescribed, in addition to antibiotics, ibuprofen. That's right, they prescribed an over the counter medication for invasive oral surgery. I get that you don't want to give out narcotics to everyone that comes knocking, but have a little bit of compassion and realize that freaking ibuprofen is not sufficient for some things. Thankfully I had a script leftover from a previous, more compassionate dentist, otherwise I probably would have ended up in the ER for the pain.
Oh, and my stitches came out within 3 hours of the procedure.
And... I did submit these complaints directly to Aspen, but they have not responded. I don't expect them to respond, or care.

Avoid Aspen at all cost! Every time I’ve ever been there I have somehow needed treatment above and beyond what my dental insurance covered. I’ve always felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. The final straw was two weeks ago I brought my kids there for a cleaning, which was also covered by insurance, and they told me both kids needed the deep cleaning because they both had gum disease. $276 each child. They refused to do a normal cleaning. I refused the service and brought the kids to a respected local dentist. The new hygienist did an exam and told both of my kids their gums looked great and commended them on their brushing! Cost me NOTHING over my insurance. I will never return to Aspen!

Was looking to switch to something local but I hate this place. I have never paid for dental services w my insurance and these people charge for everything. First apt I made for cleaning and they charged me to speak to themand didnt want to do cleaning. Next apt I only went back because my filling fell out and didnt want to take half a day off for my dentist an hour away. Would have been free w them...i waited an hour for them to say yes it fell out do u want to schedule an apt to have it filled....i used work leave for this people and I said on the phone need apt for filling. These people do nothing at their apts and try to make you come back all the time. They charge for everything and my billing is still not accurate from the last time..learn how to bill govt billing properly..they fought w me on the phone saying I had to do it...then said they were wrong after my insurance said they were wrong.also my first apt they had someone else chart attached to mine and their address and phone as mine in the computer..prob worst sevices I have ever received.

Rather an odd bunch, I set up a appointment to reattach a bridge, after getting x-rays and finally looked at for problem of the appointment, I thought all right, since I didn't need a new bridge and green light given for reattachment(this was already after an hour and a half) , then they said work me in??????, for an appointment that was spot on, I made the appointment for action of my problem, seems making an appointment is futile, only to be worked in. I was bewildered of such backward behavior was talking to a fellow patient in a normal voice, and the receptionist was ease dropping, how professional??, lol. They took exception and I was asked to leave, moral of the story, the fascist at Aspen Dental strictly forbodden on lobby talk. How things have changed and not for the better. Seems a fair warning to new patients is in order, wait times up to three hours regardless of appointment time and no talking in lobby, again fair warning is all that is being asked.

Aspen Dental has the worst organizational skills I've ever seen. Every time I go I get there early I have to wait even though I have an appointment. Unable to get a cleaning when I go for my exam and x-rays so they have to set up a separate appointment just for my cleaning. When my exam was complete they sent me back out into the waiting room to wait for someone to look over my insurance for coverage and to give me appointments I sat there for a half an hour after my exam was done. I then asked the receptionist how much longer will it be, she said whenever the insurance manager is done. I said I've already had my exam I've been sitting out here 30 minutes waiting for an appointment I am not waiting any longer I asked them to call me and I accident the building. Why I would have to go back out into the waiting room after my exam just for appointments in my insurance check is ridiculous. Unfortunately it's the only place I can go that my insurance covers... very dissatisfied with the weight and how they have it organized to make you wait again after your exam is done. So now I will wait for a phone call for my appointments.

Im in debt to a credit account for over a thousand Dollars and my insurance has been charged over a 1000 dollars. This information is accurate and truthful. What do i do im so scared i can not afford this scam. Aspen Dental Nightmare. I had some bottom teeth bad & hurting for a few months. Food was getting stuck & was time to get rid of the pain. I went to Aspen Dental for pain relief & fix bottom teeth. They gave me pain killers acknowledging my pain & lower teeth problems. Then decided to ignore all pain & lower teeth & said i had to pull all front teeth (good & no pain or problems) that i was losing bone fast & had to come out asap.
Went home realizing I'm being set up for a mouth full of problems. So I made 2 special appointments 1st the office mgr. Letting him know we were approaching this backwards & we need to address my pain & then worry about the good teeth that wasn't a painful issue. Told them to keep deposit & deal with my pain. Fell upon death ears. Went back for 2nd. appointment this time with dentist. Went over same issues & nothing at all done. Day of teeth being pulled probably 10 days later. Broke roots off in jaw, could here & feel it, 2 bloody trips to x ray to figure out if they left any roots (Jaw all jacked up now) I got my whole mouth of problems & pain. (Thanks Aspen) No antibiotics or pain killers. NOTHING!! Went to ger stiches out, Gums & Jaw not healing right, blood coming from gums just removing stiches. Just the look on her face & she said this isn't good. What a NIGHTMARE! Now after $5000+ they will not finish my permanent denture until i sign what they call a consent form but it releases them of all liabilities & i forfeit my warranty which was 1 of the deciding factors for me. I totally got screwed & they don't care. Also the last time i went in, the Admin. said she would contact them. I went in they called me up to give me a hard time about a bogus bill i didn't owe. After they dug deeper & i kept refusing to pay something i didn't owe, FINALLY after more than 1 person digging into it finally admitted it was there error & work never done. Once again a NIGHTMARE. Thats my story of Aspen Dental. I only had 1 shot of getting it right, i should have done a better job of checking reviews. I just wanted the pain to stop. Now i have more pain, with all the impressions other teeth giving me problems because of impressions pulling old fillings so they caused more problems & i still have original problem teeth & now its getting cold & bothering me more. Bad part is i still need a dentist after several months & $5285.00 in work I'm in more pain, lost sleep do to pain & more miserable now than when i started. THANKS ASPEN

Aspen Dental will not get my business again. Every time I tried to call all I got was an automated system. Absolutely no way to talk with a human unless I left my number and they got back to me. Also the exam rooms were just partitioned areas and not private or quiet. You could hear every conversation in the building. There are plenty of other Dentists to choose from.

I was super impressed with the team who took care of me.. I was in terrible pain.. I had 3 teeth hurting me. I have always been terrified of the dentist.. Could not even get a cleaning without gas. Dr. Dudley, Hannah, and Baylie pulled 3 teeth. They made my experience very comfortable.. I thought hey they really care about me.. The 3 of them were amazing!!! I respect and trust them. The reason I gave a 4 is only because of the how the ladies up front who explains your cost and billing to you.. It's very exhausting to have to go through.
