I have placed 4 orders with Artbeads within the past couple of months, for beads and other supplies, and THREE of the 4 orders were filled incorrectly. A cheaper pliers instead of a side cutter, smaller lapis beads than ordered (and worse, incorrectly labeled). The latest (and last) order was shorted a couple strands of TWO different bead types.
Artbeads did eventually fix the orders, but 3 out of 4?! I'm done with them! Not only did it delay projects, but then I had the added hassle of having to write them to explain their mistakes, plus make special trips to the Post Office for the returns.
Their canned apology email sounds hollow after 3 times... (The last time, I was told "We do ask that you please keep the item(s) you received in error as a gift"... but I was SHORTED merchandise on the last order! Anybody home?? Insulting.).
I ordered online for convenience; they were anything but. Their selection and prices were okay; but their website is painfully slow at refreshing; they just don't seem up to the task of running a business.

I have been ordering from Artbeads.com for over 3 years now and I am extremely happy with their wonderful customer service. Artbeads is one of the very few companies I never had a problem with. Quick polite and friendly answers to my questions, correct orders, perfect S/H, no problems with returns, free S/H for orders over $25, great point earning system, extra coupons, quality items.

I simply tolerate Artbeads because it carries items I like but that I can't find elsewhere. The site itself is very slow, the result of an "upgraded" design a few years ago. But worse, customer service is the pits. Frustrating, time-consuming, irritating. Every time I place an order, I just hope there will be no problem. If I ever find the supplies I like elsewhere, that'll be it for me at Artbeads.

I shop at Artbeads.com frequently but when they have a sale you'll notice they are low on many items, usually the stuff I want. Also, if you sign in, add items to your basket and leave it for a few minutes to resume shopping later everything is removed from your basket even though you had signed in. This can be very frustrating since now you have to try and remember what was in the basket. They are also very hard to reach by telephone, which wasn't the case last year.

Placed an order and only received a portion of it..had to wait MONTHS to finally get my money back...terrrrrrrible company...the do not answer, and when they do, they tell you lies. Never again will I shop at Artbeads.

I do like the variety and the tracking of what you are ordering to show you more choices in the category you are looking at. The packaging is well done and it DOES take a long time to receive the pieces you have ordered. But I consider Artbeads my go to site for the selection of findings.

So far i have gotten 2 orders from artbeads. I loved every item i have bought from beads to wire to their fabulous wirelace to knit with. First order was a wee bit slow but second order came pretty fast. Im very pleased. Oh and their shipping prices are great. No gouging to make money off shipping. I like this company very much and i will return to order more since im just a beginner beader. Thank you Artbeads.

I placed an order at ArtBeads.com. during a recent major sale event. It took almost 10 days to get my delivery. Tracking system is hard to figure out, unless you have online shopping experience & know the long azz tracking number is with United States Postal Service, you may get frustrated when you get no email follow up after the shipment is made & find no info to navigate where to look on their website for tracking info. After 5 business days went by waiting for an email update to track the package I finally put the number in to Google search & was redirected to USPS, that's how I tracked the package. When the package arrived all items where in the box.
Ripped off! Really ripped off! Just days after I got my package, I got a call from a fraud protection service I use. There were two "suspicious charges" made using my bank credit card, and some other attempts to use it. 2 transactions went through my bank account, 1st one was stopped (declined) at the site where my bank info was used. However, the 2nd one was used to made a gift card purchase at a major dept. store's website. My bank info was used (in a different state I don't live in) through the dept. store's website, the frauder(s) had created an email address with my personal name, home address & phone number. The frauder(s) used the same email website I have "my email address" at. (I had changed my business email address a month before I made the purchase at ArtBeads.com, so it had very limited use. No purchasing emails until I used ArtBeads.com.) The frauder(s) had the gift card sent to their fake-ass-fraudulent created email address, so they could use the email gift card or sell it. So yeah & for real, this all happened within 10 days after using the ArtBeads.com website.
Some employee(s) working at ArtBeads.com are internet personal ID & banking crime committers. Never again will I buy from there. I make jewelry and sell it as a part time job. My items are sold through art galleries & small trendy stores. I would have been a very steady customer, ordering a couple of hundred dollars of supplies every few months, because they do have unique findings for jewelry making. But screw that now. I have other jewelry supply websites I've ordered from for 10+ years. Never I had any issues with identity theft & hacking my bank account until I used ArtBeads.com. The dept. store is tracking down the fake email address, IP address of computer that was used to make the the email with my personal info because the email gift card was sent to it. I told the fraud prevention this crime happened after I placed on order with ArtBeads.com. I hope nobody else gets ripped off in the manner I did. If they do report it to the police, fraud prevention, file a complaint with the bank so they can report the activity on a bank account that's been hacked, file a complaint with the better business bureau. Most of all never order from ArtBeads.com ever!

I would give zero stars if I could!! What happened?? Artbeads was my go to site - no more!!! Terrible customer service! No response to emails and you can't get through on the phone!! I finally got a live person to speak with about checking the color of a product before it was sent as I always did in the past but the girl in Washington couldn't check any longer because their warehouse is in another state! She said she would send the warehouse an email and that my account would be documented and to go ahead and place my order. I ordered and thought I'd add a note to my order just to be safe but there is no note section when ordering. I followed up with an email to the 'support' address (with no response) and guess what I received - the wrong color!! So frustrating!!! Again today I'm trying to call and getting that silly recording!! Of course they're overwhelmed - with complaints I'm sure!! Soon they'll have all the time in the world to answer the phone because there won't be any customers!! This was such a good company - so very sad!!

I had big problem in July 2017with my credit card, since NEVER been able to get through to anyone, only they have message to email them. I got 18 canned emails, but problem not fixed...YET. Made COMPLAINT to BBB & no response from Artbeads at all!

I have received excellent service for years and I still do. I didn't know they had moved. They also take suggestions well, e.g., offer larger PMC3 packages. Orders still shipped promptly and I receive immediate response to my customer service emails.

I have been trying to place an order for several days. The site won't place the order and keeps asking for info I have already put in for the order. I have called and keep getting a silly phone prompt. I have tried on line chat...no response. I tried to use the email and can't get through. What happened to these people? There is no service, the site is confusing, and I'll be in the old folks home before I get anything ordered. Not happy.

Ordered items and it took forever almost two weeks for the order to arrive because it took 8 days just for my order to ship. The tracking information in the account doesn't make any sense and doesn't tell who the carrier is. The new website it horrible and ever since they relocated their warehouse their customer service has gone down the toilet. Seems like they do not care for their customers or their employees for that matter. On top of it I returned items and got a confirmation that it was refunded but nothing ever showed in my PayPal account although I was told it was. Do they even know what is going on there anymore? Seems like a whole bunch of BS. I am going to report them to the BBB and I will not be shopping there anymore.

I called them about an issue with my order and the voicemail message said the best way to reach them was by email. The reason was because they had recently updated their website and they had been receiving an overwhelming amount of comments and responses. I have yet to to receive a response to my email sent 7/14/17.

I have ordered from Artbeads for over 10 years, but I won't be doing so anymore. Their order fulfillment and shipping response ABSOLUTELY SUCKS, and it really frickin' frosts me that my credit card was charged immediately but they did not ship until 9 days later. No email that it would be delayed - or any follow up actually - everything was in stock, just really lousy customer service.
Incidentally, I had ordered from two other internet bead suppliers and received those orders within 2 and 4 business days respectively. Artbeads just doesn't have it going on anymore, and their pricing is just standard so your are not saving enough to compensate for the lousy service.

Who for years have enjoyed Artbeads.com to be treated how they are being treated.. for years you would only see maybe one complaint here one complaint there, but now you put in there name and its all over how horrible the company has become. I'd say it is karma layed all the employees off because they could move to Idaho and pay people less money an hour. They had so many loyal employees who some lost there homes and some have yet to find employment.

I ordered some supplies from Artbeads and I was really impressed with their costumer service. A representative emailed me back quickly and efficiently. I was able to find everything I was looking for on their site and they all look great! Although shipping did take about 2 weeks that's still a lot sooner than most places.

I will never order from Artbeads again!!!! Horrible! every time I order it takes 10 to 14 days to receive my package and I am only 3 states away, all because of the way they ship. Little shipping envelopes should ONLY go by USPS 1st class mail and NOT UPS. It's stupid business practice with the way they ship. The owner has no clue how to run a business. No other bead websites ship like this. This is the stupid way on how they ship....Artbeads has UPS who they call 3rd party to pick up their packages then UPS drops off the packages at USPS which takes 4-5 days for UPS to drop them off and then it sits at USPS for another 3-4 days until USPS around to two scan it as received and then it starts to track, USPS says they will not ship the bin of UPS packages until they have enough to go out so they just sit there in the mailing room for a few days until they have enough packages piling up to make it worth what ever the client is paying them (at that point UPS pays USPS) then it takes another 3-4 days before it's delivered. How crazy is that and what a stupid way to ship!!! so UPS needs upto 7 days then USPS needs upto 5-7 days to deliver. This is all because Artbeads owners (husband and wife) is too LAZY to drop off the little envelopes at USPS directly. They rather inconvenience their customers and make them wait 2 weeks then inconvenience themselves, that's TERRIBLE!!!! . I called UPS about this type of service they offer (drops off at USPS) and was investigating on the price difference and UPS is always more expensive then USPS first class mail even if they drop off at USPS its still more expensive...so don't let them tell you it's a cheaper way to ship. That's is a big LIE! So it's all about Artbeads convenience and NOT customer service. They don't care about their customer service, they only care about their convenience and making money. The owner needs education in retail business practices and customer service.
As for all the complaints on many websites ... why doesnt Artbeads owners do something about it so they dont go out of business and lose customers? Well I guess they just dont care :( I dont shop at websites who dont care about their customers service. Never again.

Their orders take sooo long and they are expensive. Twice I have had to email to see what the hold up is. The latest order hasn't even been received by the post office even though they sent me email saying that order had been shipped.

I love this website, and order all my metal parts (except the wire) and Swarovski from them. They often have sales, and implement a good discount program for returning customers which helps to save a lot of money. Their chains and findings are of superior quality (at least the ones I ordered).
