It is very rare to come across a company, whose service is that bad, that, it brings new meaning to the word BAD.
At the end of June 2019, I bought a Russell Hobbs, Tall Black Larder fridge from Argos.
As, I could not book a delivery slot online, I eventually had to call Product Care to book a delivery slot and the earliest date for the delivery of my fridge, by ArrowXL was Saturday 13th July 2019.
On Saturday 13th July 2019, I was given a delivery slot of between 14:30-16:30. However, around 14:00hrs, ArrowXL sent me a text message, saying that due to Technical issues there would be a 2-4 hour delay.
Suffice to say, I sat at home all day long on a Saturday, for that matter, waiting and waiting for my fridge to be delivered, but ArrowXL did not only, not deliver my fridge, they didn’t have the common decency to contact me, to inform me that they would not be turning up.
Also in anticipation of the delivery of my new fridge, I threw my old fridge out, so I now have no fridge, in summer.
The next day, I received a text message from ArrowXL, telling me that they were sorry for not delivering my fridge and then sending me a link, with new delivery slots, the earliest being the following Wednesday.
On Monday morning, I was send around the houses, calling Argos, Product Care and ArrowXL and being sent from pillar to post, trying to get answers. The most irritating thing of all, was that ArrowXL did not seem to think, they had done anything wrong. The Customer Service Rep at ArrowXL informed me that he had gone out of his way to upgrade my delivery for the following day, Tuesday 16th July, but I had to tell him over and over again, that I had to go to work on Tuesday morning, so could my fridge be delivered after 14:00 hrs. But, at the back of my mind, I just knew ArrowXL would make the delivery in the morning, when I would not be at home, because that was the shoddy, sub-standard, Service, I had come to expect from ArrowXL. Lo and behold, when I arrived home, ArrowXL had left a card, stating that they had attempted to deliver my fridge at 10 o’clock in the morning.
I was then given a new delivery date for the delivery of my fridge, which was Friday, 19th July 2019, bearing in mind, I have now been without my new fridge for 6 days.
It is now 18:10hrs on Friday 19th July 2019, the delivery time for my fridge today, was between 15:30-17:30. I am still waiting for ArrowXL to deliver my fridge.
This company needs to simply pack up, close shop and disappear.
