Bought a pair of waterproof walking boots and they leaked from day one. Many emails later I told them to forget as they had no intention of honouring their warranty. I can only use these 'waterproof ' boots in the dry. Disgusting customer service and low quality products not worth the premium price. Back to Merrell for me from now on

Great looking and fitting boots. One of the only ones with removable insoles. I have a narrow foot and Ariat had half sizes, and a B width.

I absolutely adore my Ariat Boots as they were my present to myself after surviving major surgery. I use them for work everyday as they are so comfortable to wear and I manage to match them with everything. I noticed after a wee while that there was a bit of damage in the sole. I called Ariat and explained the issue, even though my boots were out with the 1 year warranty, I was advised to take photographs and send them to the customer service department. They responded immediately and the issue was dealt with that day. I am now awaiting a pair of replacement boots. I cannot rate Ariat highly enough and their customer service is excellent! I don’t plan on buying my boots from anyone else as I know that I get great quality and enjoyment from wearing them.

Terrible customer service. I received a pair of boots that did not fit, which is fine. I wanted to just return them. However, I STILL have not received a shipping label for a return and it has been 3 WEEKS! I called customer service, and the woman I spoke to was very rude. She told me that the label would be coming and I would have to wait. I just don’t understand why the return label would take so long or why it wasn’t included in my package originally like most other companies do. I’m very frustrated and will not be ordering from them again and will not be recommending.

I can't fault them. I bought some boots that were too big (I have very small feet) and the customer service reps could not do enough to help me. My boots now fit great...all ready for my riding holiday! Thank you!

I have bought Ariat boots for over two decades, because the quality of the shoes and their customer service was brilliant. However, having bought a new pair of shoes, they quickly developed an inward bulge in the heel, making it impossible to wear. Infuriatingly, Ariat UK not only REPEATEDLY replied to my emails with auto emails, getting me nowhere, but when I FINALLY managed to get through to the Manager on the phone, she basically said that without a receipt she couldn't exchange the shoes, although she could clearly see from the photos that they were Ariats and the bulge on the heel.
I had expected a high calibre retailer like Ariat to do the right thing and exchange the shoes for me, instead of which she used the Get Out Clause that inferior retailers use (no receipt, no exchange). I don't keep receipts for everything I buy, do you?
She did offer 20% off my next purchase, but that won't replace my shoes, so her offer is completely wasted on me.
From having held Ariat in high esteem for decades, I now see them as a bottom end retailer and I shan't buy from them again. There are plenty of retailers about, who also offer good products with equally good customer service.
Terrible communication and terrible customer service.
