Very bad quality of service whenever I’ve used Argos. In particular today, under staffed poorly trained staff! Waited 30 minutes to be served, then 15 minutes to get item, no sense of order, countless people served after me received their goods before me. Seriously think twice about using Argos in the future!

Please DO NOT TRUST ARGOS to offer any proper customer service.
Their website promises same day 4pm pick up from local store yet my item never arrived at the store and it was something we urgently needed.
The Sainsbury's store manager eventually found out the item had been lost somewhere in transit to their store from the Argos hub. Yet Argos never actually notified me. The Sainsbury's store manager told me this happens 'all the time'.
Now I have to wait for 10 days to get a refund and in the meantime spend another £80 to buy another.
Customer services could have rectified the situation by promising to deliver a replacement for the next day. Instead they told me to complain in writing to head office. I asked for an email address. They don't have one! This company is in the stone age. No wonder they are having to close stores.

I had an absolutely terrifying experience with the customer service. Extremely rude, unhelpful and ignoring customer service. Especially the member called Debbie will do everything to not to solve your problem. They have zero training or whatsoever. Hung up the phone on my face and ignored me in person at the store. DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING!

Argos has a poor choice of stuff now Sainsbury own it. No branded stuff all Sainsbury stuff which I could buy from a Sainsbury supermarket. PLEASE SAINSBURY find a catalogue from 7 years ago and compare it to the crap you sell now!

I purchased a new mattress in a local store and waited for delivery on set date. Received regular SMS also regarding delivery. Then when the mattress was delivered it was all damaged on the corners due to poor handling and insufficient packaging. I took pictures and emailed the CEO as customer helpline told me I would need to wait more than a week for replacement which I was not happy after having waited over 10 days. A few hours later I received a call from a lovely lady called Jackie from the Director's office who offered a much better upgraded mattress free of charge without any hesitation as she knew I was upset and angry. She then arranged delivery of new replacement within 3/4 days! She kept me informed throughout and gave me truly exceptional customer care/service. Jackie restored all my faith in Argos and provided an amazing efficient service which is second to none. A very happy customer - thank you Argos!!

I ordered a patio set for £120. This was due to arrive Saturday between 7-10. Money taken. Email received. Text received. Been unwell all week but waited up. Nothing. No txt no email. Contacted live chat today as the live chat closes before the deliveries finish to be told it failed dispatch. Offered to rebook for me today. Nope item cancelled. Money will take five days to go back to my account. So the only day off work and I can’t afford to buy another this weekend. Ben the lad on live chat nice not his fault but in this day and age wait five days for money back. When Argos didn’t even have the decency to let me know my patio set wasn’t coming. I used to rate Argos same day delivery. Not anymore. Communication shocking

BEWARE HEALTH HAZARD. Bought an electric razor instore, but returned it as faulty, so a new one was delivered to my home next day. The new one was UNSEALED, and had SOMEONE ELSE'S SHAVINGS IN IT. DISGUSTING. it had clearly been used a number of times. This is a disgusting health hazard. I called for yet another replacement & to make a complaint. Was told I wont hear anything back about what I consider to be a major complaint about a personal hygiene item. They would just consider it for the future. Consider this....DON'T SELL USED RAZORS & ACT LIKE ITS NOTHING !!!

Advertise popular items at rock bottom prices but once in basket they don't have them in stock anywhere, dispite no stock issues.
Lego Porsche advertised for £65 but available no where at Argos.
Must be an active choice by Argos to mislead.
Poor respect for customers and dubious advertising legality.

Argos is rubbish. Ordered and paid for washing machine, given two weeks wait for delivery and installation. Loads of emails saying drivers would notify me of time, waited in. Then another email saying "could not deliver, please ring us". Ten minutes on phone, only to be told washer was broken and could not be loaded. No apology, no new date offered, no mention of refund. One hour later on phone given one week longer before delivery. Checked day before only to see date put forward for further week. Tried to ring for 30 minutes, just music on awful answer machine. They took £250 for absolutely nothing plus phone charges. Scam firm, useless and pathetic. Awful contact staff, terrible phone service. Avoid.

I wish I could leave zero stars! The entire experience with them was a nightmare.
I wanted to buy their corner Atlas wardrobe but firstly the description was inaccurate stating different heights, different door handle placements and whether they came with or without feet, meaning part 1 and part 2 of the corner wardrobes would not match. To clarify, I called the customer support team, who also couldn't make head nor tail of the conflicting information. Eventually, they confirmed it was indeed a matching set and the description was inaccurate. I was then charged £18 for that phone call! This was simply to get information which should have been available in the description.
When the wardrobes arrived, the delivery staff were rude and hostile. At first, they were just going to leave all 8 wardrobes on the pavement but eventually they agreed to take them inside. However, they refused to take them upstairs (even though they are clearly wardrobes and that's where they belong). They told me if they do 40 of these a day, it's too much. As a woman on my own, I asked how I would manage to get 8 wardrobes up the stairs and they told me to take it all out the box and take it up bit by bit! They were not respectful of my home and dragged the boxes against the walls when bringing them in. I was left very upset.
Putting the wardrobes together showed how flimsy and cheap the wardrobes are. They look and feel like a puff of wind will blow them away. Before removal from the box, you can see the MDF is dented, scuffed and damaged.
We managed to put the first section of the corner wardrobe together in around 4 hours (thanks to the rubbish instructions).
On reaching page 20 of the instructions, we see that to put the corner wardrobes together, you actually have to have a void of 10cm, which is not explained in the description or anywhere else in the instructions. We measured the space they advised the wardrobes would take up and did not have an additional 10cm for a void they did not mention until the last page of the manual! I was furious.
On contacting customer service. Again. They said I would need to dismantle the entire thing for a refund. I told them the "corner" section isn't ant different from a 2 door wardrobe, so just send a door to swap it for a blank panel. They would not. Eventually, after speaking to several managers, they agreed to swap the door for the redundant blank panel. It would take 4 weeks. That was back in May. I had no notifications it wasn't coming. Yet another call to customer service saw them eventually sending a whole new wardrobe just so I could swap the door.
Absolute shambles. No apologies. No refund of my phone call money, which I had to pay 3 times.

I am fuming is an understatement I was collecting a bed frame large item and heavy clearly stated to be carried by 2 people when I asked 4 staff members if I could get a hand to carry the box to the car I was told no even though I was in the car park in Erne side there was only a handful of customers in store at the time and most of the staff was just chatting away to each other now Iv bought items in other’s argos stores and Iv always been offered if I want a hand to lift or a trolly as argos dose have the flat ones for these items I am fuming and disappointed with enniskillen argos and will not be shopping here again and will also pass on my experience to others!! my arms are bruised and cut my back is very sore and all the embarrassment from struggling to move the box trough the shopping center in front of everyone
Not to mention my own health issues shouldn’t have had me to carry such a large box on my own but this item wasn’t aloud to be home delivered and I’m a single mum with no one else to collect and assuming argos would assist and already payed I had to manage
This issue needs to be sorted!! you can’t expect such large items to be carried we don’t all have a man with us either sort you staff or get trolleys

On arrival 2 men delivery team..one saying "Can i use your Toilet..i did not like this..reason..there are plenty of toilets in Supermarkets and on the road..Oblivious to common courtesy..ie.."Hello we have your order where do you want us to put it" said nothing..except for the Toilet..this may sound trivial..but the elderly and orthers would not like this...Argos should instruct their operatives accordingly.. where Toilet issues are an item...when these people are out delivering...S Skeer...

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Truly awful, when I asked to complain about the call centre agent who was being rude the team leader came on and was just as rude. I'm genuinely shocked Argos would let these standards of customer service be acceptable.

Never buy a Hoover from Argos. I am now on my 3rd Hoover this year. Just tried to return my 3rd Hoover after using on only a few occasions spending £198 black & deck cordless Hoover. This was purchased this year. Argos have just informed me that after 30 days I need to contact the manufacturer whether my Hoover is broken or faulty in some way! Cannot get intouch with black & decker. I am now left feeling angry and let down. I will never use Argos again!

Tried to reserve an item online from my local store - their website stated I couldn't reserve an item without paying for it - so I did (nearly £80) but then they failed to acknowledge my order...
In store they knew nothing about it..
When I emailed them they said their inbox wasn't monitored..
When I rang them they hung up on me before I had chance to say anything..
So now I'm £80 out of pocket and no doubt Lord Sainsbury is having a ball somewhere with my money - what a joke! I won't be going near the place again..

If they continue this very poor service, they can close their doors, like Woolworths and BHS.
Clearance items do not exist online. They mess up everything.
I am fuming as they lost my parcel in transit. Thats what they say anyway.
After waiting 2 days, no updates was sent, I needed to contact them to find out what was going on.
The 'lost parcel' scenario happens quite a lot with Argos.
So either the items are not exist at time of the purchase, or somebody steal it.

This company is going downhill and needs to be shut down my order was supposed to be delivered three days ago they cancelled it due to a delivery driver felt ill now today they have change my delivery times at least six times and my order still has not come I have now requested a full refund and will be taking this to head office to escalate this as this is twice Argos has let me down customer services was so unprofessional and rude I have screenshot it all of the conversations and the times what have been changed seven times throughout the day as I will be writing to head office to escalate this and take matters further as they made me take the day off of work which is my financially lost for the day I am very angry with Argos and will never use them again I sure will be exposing this to Twitter

Bought a game one day to find out it was 20% off the next day.
Came to the store with my recpiet and the staff was very rude and told me I bought it for the price I saw it for, seemed not even legal to me
Infact I argued the claim that this has happened to me before with a birthday present for my daughter, the item was unused and it was returned before 14 days as it went on sale right after I bought it and I got back £20 cash back no questions asked,
Very disappointed in the way I was treated as a customer its more about principle with me, and I guarantee them this will cost you a lot more than the 8 pound you refused to refund me.

I ordered The Milano sofa and 2 armchairs in Chocolate leather, and after waiting nearly a month for delivery they arrived today 2 really nice chaps carried them in and put them roughly where we wanted them all still package up in plastic and bubble wrap and instructed us that the feet for them all would be in the bases . Well we unwrapped the sofa first no problem apart from the amount of sellotape on the plastic, then sorted out the first chair similar problem with sellotape, it was when we started to peel the sellotape from the second chair I notice one label said chocolate but another said charcoal so we peeled back some of the plastic to see that the second chair was not the Chocolate leather that was ordered but a Charcoal material, I tried to ring customer service and got the message they were having problems and to try online, this I did and went to live chat, after waiting for about 10 minutes a very helpful person came online and I explained what had happened with my order they spent some time but eventually sorted out that they will replace and take the other one away, the problem is they can't do it until next week, which leaves one person here either sitting on the floor or a garden chair, not very happy about this as my guest's will not be impressed.
