I am disgusted with Apple, when the computer did an automatic update my partners late Mothers voice recordings which they put on itunes have been lost.
I have been on to Apple and was transferred to Joseph Moore in America case ID 100910199580,he has not bothered to come back to me. I have phoned Apple Support twice and been cut off after waiting for some time.
I pay for itunes and have icloud which appears to complicate the problem.
I have been advised by others this is a usual occurance when they update their system and to change to Samsung where my Mothers recordings would have been safe.
I intend to report this problem to a governing body hopefully an ombudsman because this is breaking my partners heart.

The last two days with Apple support have been absolutely terrible. The epitome of bad customer service. In fact it would make a great case study for training in how not to do customer service.
The iPad Pro I bought in May was faulty. I contacted apple support to try and resolve the issue. Agent tried to solve it over chat, but not successful so set up an appointment with Apple Genius in Leicester.
I went to appointment (had to wait quite a long time) and agent at the store tested the iPad. He confirmed that the usb c port was too big, hence to iPad not charging. Rather than give me a new sealed box, he gave me what he said was a new iPad and lead, as he said charger was fine.
I went home reasonably satisfied, despite a three hour round trip and paying £3.50 for parking.
When I got home I tried to set up the ‘new’ iPad.
It failed to set up. I was pretty annoyed, but contacted support via chat again and spent ages going through stuff which didn’t work. Very annoyed by the end. Agent set up an appointment for someone to call me next morning.
Rachel called me at 8.15 am and spent best part of an hour going through resetting. It still didn’t work. I said I wanted a new iPad, and she said that I’d need to go back to Leicester to see if they could get it working, and if not they would give me a new iPad or refund me whichever I preferred. She said she’d send me an email to confirm this.
So I did the 3 hour round trip with £3.50 parking again, this time with my husband to support me.
Agent Tom said the replacement iPad I was given the previous day was NOT new, but a used spare. He also said he couldn’t give me a new iPad. I told him Rachel said I would be given a new iPad or a refund, and Tom said he couldn’t do that. I checked my email and saw that her email didn’t say I would be given a new iPad or refund. So she had lied to me.
I quoted the Consumer Protection Act to Tom and he said the manufacturer wasn’t responsible it was the retailer. He said he couldn’t give me a new iPad, only another used one. So i asked for my original iPad back (which had only been replaced the day before) so we could go to PC World, as Apple had confirmed it was faulty. Tom said it wasn’t in the store any more. We suspect some other poor sap has been given it as a replacement and is probably now going through the same terrible experience as me.
Fortunately I had the email confirming my original iPad was faulty and had been replaced, so we drove for an hour plus to PC World in Grantham where I had purchased the original iPad. The chap at PC World was great and refunded us. I can only deduce that the reason I wasn’t signposted to the retailer straight away is that Apple know that they would have to refund / replace, and by stringing me along with shoddy seconds they may be able to avoid the cost.
If I had been told from the start that Apple wouldn’t be able to replace the iPad with a new one, I’d have gone to PC World straight away - it’s only 20 mins away from home and free parking after all. Instead I was strung along, told I’d been given a brand new iPad by two people then told it wasn’t new by Tom, told I would be given a replacement brand new iPad or refund by Rachel, then told by Tom I wouldn’t...
As a long time Apple user and keen proponent of the Apple ecosystem, I am truly appalled by this experience. I have a MacBook Pro and iPhone, but when they are due for replacement am now considering Linux / Ubuntu. The Apple ‘support’ staff have clearly been trained well in dodging difficult questions and absolving Apple of responsibility.
There was no attempt to offer recompense for the 8 plus hours I have wasted and fuel and parking costs I’ve accumulated trying to resolve the issues. It has been the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and at 53 years old I’ve suffered some pretty awful service. I have chosen to pay a significant premium for Apple products, yet the after sales service is worse than cheap scam companies.
It’s such a shame, as Apple’s products are generally great; this is the first issue I’ve had in 10 plus years (other than accidents that have been my fault) and boy has it left a sour taste about the brand.
Definitely Bramley not Braeburn.

I bought some beatsx and they quit working within a year and they replaced those with a refurbished pair, then within 90 days the refurbished pair quit working, they were within the 90 day refurbished warranty period so they were replaced with another refurbished pair. So a few months later the exact same problem happened again to THE THIRD PAIR! This time out of warranty so nothing can be done, even though this is definitely something that should be a recall or something

I’m going to make this as short as I possibly can.
So! I had an iPhone 7, which was part of a batch of phones that had a factory defect where the phone would read “no service” and wouldn’t work. Apple said I could bring it into a store and get it fixed for free! How nice of them right?...
I go to the Apple store at the Arrowhead mall, where they wiped my phone and sent it to a different facility to have it repaired. They said it would be ready within 10-14 days, and gave me a loan phone (iPhone 6) to use in the mean time, and they said they would call me when my phone was fixed.
2 weeks go by, no call, I let another week go by and I call the Apple Arrowhead store myself and ask them where my phone is. They told me they called me and sent an email, saying it was ready, but I never got back to them, and I checked my call record, I had NOT ONE MISSED CALL FROM THEM. And I checked my email and NOPE, no email either. I’m pretty tech savvy, but searching for an email really isn’t that hard.
They said, since I didn’t get back to them soon enough, they “abandoned” my phone. I asked what that meant and they said, and I quote “it was either recycled for parts or re-sold as a refurbished phone.” That’s right you heard me. I’m currently near the end of a 2 year contact with Verizon still paying on this phone, $25 a month, I paid $500, and I had $150 more to pay. I was upset and they told me to call Apple Support.
I call Apple Support and talked to many people who’s names I have all documented and what department they were in, and they assured me I would get my phone back. Blah blah blah.
After talking to the store again, they said quote “well we did everything right on OUR end you never got back to us, so there is no way of retrieving your phone. You can buy a new phone.”
Yes they recycled my phone that I was paying on and told me I needed to buy a new phone.
So come to find out, they had the wrong number for me this entire time, which they never claimed was their fault. They also tired to accused me of lying about the email they apparently sent. I told them I was more than happy to come down there and they could check my email themselves to see there is no email from them. After talking to multiple people from the Apple support and the Apple store, I gave up, super upset, and remember I have names...they started to treat me with utter disrespect, they told me to “listen, like I said” and “No you can’t” and “no I’m not giving you a new phone.” And “Like I told you BEFORE” I was so defeated and felt like they couldn’t care less about me, after all what was I going to do? So I have lost all respect for Apple. A multi-billion dollar company, took one of their paying clients, product, that I purchased (and was still paying on) BACK and RESOLD it, simply because, I “didn’t call them back soon enough.” And then their employees treated me like crap, said they all followed their procedures and proceeded to blame all this, on me. I have never been treated so bad by any company before in my entire life! What company takes their clients paid for product and resells it, will you tell me?
I would LOVE to know if this has ever happened to anyone else, because this was wrong, on so many levels.

Horrible experience after horrible experience. My MacBook Pro has not worked since I purchased it over 8 months ago. Apple has sent it off for repair three times. Each time it has been returned and been non-functional with same issues they were supposed to repair. On to round four now. I’m astounded that a company would be okay leaving a customer who paid $2500 for a product without any remorse, repair, replacement or compensation for 8 months! It’s not like they don’t have the money. This happened 5 years ago with another Mac I purchased and it was never repaired. I call it my $3500 paperweight as the issue was never resolved and my apple care warranty expired before the computer repair was fixed. Apple May promote their customer service, but they are just another heartless, greedy corporation who is only concerned with appeasing their stockholders, not their actual customers.

Unfortunately, I could not give zero stars but I am going to give a shocking review so brace yourselves and hopefully my honest review with evidence to back it up will help you with any security issues you may be having with your iPhone.
I made countless calls to Apple in regards as to why my phone was taking screenshots is what it looked like at first. Then, my passwords for all my accounts kept changing and at this point in time I was looking for another job so it was becoming extremely difficult to get a job and bills do not get paid unless you work. Then it got much much worse.... wait for it...
I start learning the IT Security settings for my gmail app which was obviously a third party app so not Apple’s fault as they told me in one of my numerous calls that I was to use only Apple apps and get rid of the others since it had become an exhausting situation. So I did.
It did not stop as my emails in my iCloud account were being read, deleted, moved and even some emails were sent that I didn’t write. One of the emails was to a job recruiting agency that was absolutely horrible, no wonder I couldn’t find a job! Then it gets even more twisted....
I notice something scary in my gmail Security settings. As I started educating myself on everything in regards to internet, cellphone and computer security I came across my location history on my gmail account. I hadn’t left the house in four days or showered in 3 days as I was adamant on finding out who would hack me as I was unemployed then I saw it...someone was connected to my gmail account and had been driving around the vicinity of my neighborhood for I believe around 12 hours or so and had made a trip during that time somewhere that was about 20-30 minutes away and then returned to my neighborhood and surrounding streets. I began to get scared as human trafficking is a thing and I was in the process of hiring a lawyer due to being attacked at a cellphone store by an angry, racist employee. I had not left the home in 4 days which is why I knew something was very wrong. Back again for hours with Apple support, and my IT Security which was Mcafee.....they again told me that they were not responsible. So I started learning IT Security, Coding, Programming, Developer information on more of an analysis level as I found it to be strange that my address was at a POBox because Spark Mobile Wireless had refused to give me the names of the employees that attacked me because I was white which to me is actually comical in a sense as I am half African and lived in the top three most dangerous projects in the nation for a year being the only white looking person there.... the same hood T.I. came from.
So here’s the kicker... months go by and I collect thousands of pictures of hard evidence. I move for the sixth time after I heard and saw someone outside the home I was in with some sort of tracking device that beeped louder and faster the closer it got to my bedroom window which guess what was in the bedroom with me... my iPhone of course. As I am halfway unpacking my things into my next place of residence that I have full-time live in Security now that does not have any tracking devices, I also live with a few others as well that are all experienced in protection of people. Back to Apple...
I finally catch it and it was hard as hard gets for evidence... Spyzie and Spyfone start showing up in my analytics reports and I tested it out by signing up for a spyzie account but never paid to track anyone. So after I sign up a few weeks go by and I am getting fed up with the phone hacking as it was happening to every phone I used not just the one iPhone. I pull up spyzie and it automatically logs me in. I see that there are two devices being monitored in my spyzie account so I screenshot it. As I’m navigating my way around it trying to figure out the app it seems to be going back and forth to different screens and when it was on my real account screen it showed zero devices connected. Then I get the real hard evidence when I see conversations between my ex boyfriend and I from almost 3 yrs prior..... wow I have been getting stalked that long!!! So I call Apple furious because at this point I decided to use the little money I had to start my own business and a 501(c)(3) in order to help people with these kinds of situations which I will not disclose the other facts involved. Naturally I’m upset because I couldn’t get a job due to this issue and then I start a business and cannot get clients when some psycho is reading/deleting email, stalking me and my online reputation is destroyed and my IP Address is reported as being a Hacker. I spend over an hour talking to Apple and the call was lost when the tech put me on hold to get a senior IT Technician when I showed him all the evidence. I called Apple back a few days later and I made a video of the conversation that lasted over an hour. I show him countless photos and complaint case numbers for all the accounts I had that were being hacked due to the Spyzie and all other tracking sites I had in my analytics report from Apple. In the video which I told him about the hour I spoke to the technician on Monday about that ironically had no case number and nobody called me back from Apple when we were disconnected so I was trying to follow up. At the end of the call I was referred to legal and given an address to mail a complaint or subpoena to as well as the info for FTC which was helpful but I clearly told the Apple Rep that I felt like my life was in danger so being told to send a letter was in my opinion just pointless.
Since then, my phone is still being tracked but I did manage to get back into my Twitter account that I had no access to for months as the verification code was never being sent to my phone.... that was after I filed an ic3.gov complaint when I had a person in my backyard in the middle of the night less than 20ft from my backdoor when there are a few acres of land... the first time I was home all alone. They ran when I turned on a light. In fact I had a feeling something was going to happen bad so I intentionally kept the house completely dark and a shotgun near me.
I have experience in law as I worked in it for quite sometime and even have asked to speak with legal counsel myself but I have never been given the opportunity to speak with their counsel.
After 7.5 months of educating myself on IT Security breach analysis and joining multiple computer science internet governance nonprofit organizations, some of it has gotten better. However, last night as I keep noticing my screen still doing things or being frozen at times when the hacker is peeking, I looked at my analytics reports again as I have gained a ton more knowledge since I had analyzed a few months prior.... I see it. There is a 16g iPhone and my iPhone which is 32g listed. The report clearly shows where it says CPU:2. For those of you unaware of what a CPU is, Central Processing Unit. I read a few weeks ago that Apple has been dealing with a breach but it has managed to stay under the radar.
If you don’t know anything about computers science, I suggest everyone at least visit the IAPP website and read up on how to protect yourself from being a victim of a real life crime that started with your cellphone being tracked by a criminal. For those of you that have a job at a corporation, it is completely legal for your bosses to track your phone. For you Facebook and YouTube people, go to the FTC and see which companies are working with the FTC. I just saw that today and thought hmmmm... I reported an antitrust violation to the FTC regarding the billions of views my YouTube video got but never raised in number on the YouTube site and never received a dime from ViralHog.... so what was the actual point of filing the complaint?
As for Apple, I do prefer iPhone over Android so I will stick with it and it helps also knowing how to analyze a hacking event. I think I want to go live somewhere without any devices because quite frankly they have tortured me now for a year.

My daughter purchased my EarPods in October. 2018. When apple scanned the bar code they said they were purchased in July 2018.
One of my EarPods had stopped working. Apple said it would cost me £65 to replace faulty EarPod, they took my faulty EarPod to send off and be reconditioned. Nobody actually asked if they could keep my old EarPod or made it clear that this was in fact part of the deal.
I had under a year of use from my EarPods before they failed, this is not daily use, maybe 3 times a week.
Apple did make it clear that I could try and claim a replacement using consumer law, unfortunately with the EarPods being purchased through Amazon making this quite difficult.
I would have thought the guarantee would commence when purchased by the consumer (my daughter).
Very disappointed with the product and the support.
In my opinion it’s a win win situation for apple,

Terrible experience with trying to get a warranty repair for my beats by dre headphones... bought these pieces of junk like 6 months ago. I charge them one day and then they no longer function. Called apple support to send them back for warranty repair and they filed my claim and said a box would be sent so I can return them... 2 weeks passes and never recieved the box. Called again and they had no record of my claim. Ok no big deal... I filed a new claim and they said box would be there 3 to 5 business days... 10 days later still no box. Called apple support once again and they told me theres no record of purchase so I'd have to send a receipt for proof of purchase date!.. That's weird because both the other apple support people said they could see it's still under warranty.... so now I have a broken pair of beats by dre headphones that I used for 6 months and are now useless. Thanks apple!

A week ago i contacted apple support after talking to the local apple repair workshop as it seems i bought 4 years ago one of their lemons- an mac book pro with retrina display. Showed that precicely the mid 2014 model as a production error with their screens that ends with staingate. The first time the dude in the support line was nice and very helpful. During our conversation we came to the agreement that he will send the case to the authoriced repair place and if it is staingate apple will cover the costs for exchanging the display...
today i went to the shop and got to know that apple just sended an explanaition of what the dude and i talked about, but he forgot to mention our agreement about coverage of the costs as i blought my laptop in august 2015 and that was 2 month after the 4 years garantee...
so i had to take my laptop again with me and called apple support to solve the misunderstanding, which ended up with being told its my own fault and i just have to pay myselv, even though, this wasnt the agreement... and when i asked how a ordinary person who isnt a geek should have known there was a chance of garantee if apple is quite about it and wont inform about that issie might appear i got to know that this is apparently natural, as a bigcompany wont announce in public that there was a production mistake and they would have to cover all the costs...
well, i believe in costomer care and in openess. If i messed
up, i have to fix it as well...
This lovely phonecall ends up with me being upset about apples costumer care, the friendlyness of apple support and that fixing my macbook will cost me 5000kr, because i didnt had the informations on hand...

I foolishly did the latest 13.1.2 update on my iphone on Monday and since then my phone has been crashing, not accepting or making calls. I have not been able to view my text messages or use any of my apps, I have contacted Apple 3 times chatted with 3 agents and 3 senior agents and still my phone useless. You have avoided solving my query and reading my notes properly, i was on hold for 90 mins earlier today before finally getting through to someone who said can we can arrange to call you back, i explained that my phone was accepting calls hence me calling you and we told to leave feedback at apple.
Eventually I have been given a in-store appointment which could have provided at the 1st point of contact. I have been left out of pocket as I have not able to make calls or answer email or view my text and not once have apple offered to compensate for the shoddy service.
All I want is to be able to use my phone as normal is this to much to ask from APPLE maybe someone will like to get back to me. this is one of my incident numbers 100919821289. Please do not try to call me.

It recently came to my attention that for 55 months I have been double charged for my Spotify account. Back in 2015 when Spotify and Apple split, I transitioned my Spotify Prime billing over to Spotify because it cost me $10.91 whereas Apple charges $14.19. At this point in time, my Apple Spotify account was downgraded to a free “trial” account and I was no longer being charged the inflated premium. I’m only now realizing, 55 months down the road, that once that trial period ended, Apple began charging me for my account that had previously been canceled with them. They chalk this up to a “user agreement that states that once a trial subscription has ended, you will automatically be charged for the premium account”. I have never once received an email regarding these charges. The total charges for these 55 months amounts to $780.45. After 4 hours on chats and on the phone with Apple employees and supervisors, I was told I would be credited $28.38. This is pure fraud and theft. I was never notified of these charges. After reading multiple forums and threads from others experiencing this same issue, I have reached out to a class action lawyer. He will be investigating this issue further. I plan to update this thread as we look into suing Apple. Stay tuned and share this thread if you know of others who have been taken advantage of in a similar way
