I have the phone for a year and a half, no Waranty no apple care face recognition not working, at the apple store I was told " in fortunately it happened " I was ask to pay almost $600 for the repair. Not recommended Iphone. I pay for the phone $1400 at the beginning not willing to ad nor money in this company.

My ipad developed a fault in May, booked an appt with nearest store to be informed battery was faulty and I would need to pay £70 to get a replacement ipad. Why, did i have to pay, not my fault the battery was faulty. Turns out there is no arguing with customer service. They have a script and they stick to it, robots. Obviously my fault for buying an ipad with a faulty battery.
Anyway 3 months on my replacement ipad develops a cracked screen, not been dropped, and in a heavy duty shockproof case. So booked another appt to be accused of damaging the ipad myself and then informed £190 to replace screen. Are you kidding me.
Asked to speak to a manager, complete waste of time. He repeated almost word for word what the supposed 'technician' said.
Apple do not care once they have sold you a product.
Will never buy Apple again.
There are just as good, if not better, brands out there.

Formal Complaint Apple Store, Intu Centre Watford, Jason Duty Manager.
The above reference number relates to a complaint I logged by phone whilst standing in the Apple Store and standing next to the store duty Manager Jason commencing circa 4 pm this afternoon on Tuesday 27 August.
Jason would not give me his surname or any further Apple ID. He accused me of being rude to him.
I certainly was direct' in my approach, but did not raise my voice or use any bad language.
Apple's whole ethos revolves around customer service. The service I received today, was recorded and was the worst I have ever received in a retail environment. It was arrogant, unfocused, unhelpful and incredulously poor.
I purchased an Apple iphone XR, blue for £799 in person at Apple Store, Intu, Watford on 25 April 2019. Strangely the service I received that day, was impeccable. A technician on hand' to download and change over my data from my old iphone 6.
I have been having experiences' of my new iphone getting hot when it is processing, and on a visit to Devon at the weekend using google maps', it got so hot that I could not hold it. It worried me as it would anyone.
My first opportunity to return the product to store was today. Tuesday after the Bank holiday Monday.
Jason the store manager' / most senior staff member, apparently, took my enquiry. This is how it unfolded:
1) We don't have any technicians here today (3.30pm) to have a look at your phone.
2) You can come in to a walk in tomorrow, with luck there may' be someone to look at your phone.
3) Alternatively we could arrange a fixed appointment, but the earliest possible is Saturday.
4) I was extremely annoyed. Said I'd not paid £800 to get no service. Said my business relied on the product. The product is under warranty. Expressed anger and annoyance; asked to see a more senior person.
5) Was told a more senior person existed' but was not in' or available'
6) In the meantime another customer standing close by had come in and had clearly had a simple diagnostic check on their device, clearly without appointment. Several technicians were happily available when sales' took place. None could be found for me it seemed.
7) My round trip from home/business is 25 miles. My afternoon had now been wasted. When the phone was sold to me I was told to return in store at any time' with any problems and they'll be sorted out immediately'. The Apple warranty is written similarly.
8) In utter disbelief', I asked the same manager, as he stood in front of me for the apple help line number: 08000480408. I spent 1 hour and 14 minutes on that support line phone number in The Watford Store with this Store Manager Jason standing in close vicinity, watching this charade unfold.
The two very helpful operatives at apple support centre/overseas, showed complete dismay at the way I was being treated. They raised a formal complaint as numbered above. They suggested this was all they could do in the circumstances. When I handed the phone to the store Manager, (three times), your call centre managers were similarly unable to get any common sense out of Jason.
9) The Manager' Jason made no effort to help or intervene. He even had the audacity to say to his colleagues over the phone that the store was now closing'. I'd arrived one hour and forty five minutes earlier. The Apple support members apologised continuously and profusely for their colleague's behaviour. (Please listen to the recorded call). In addition your call centre colleagues even suggested I could, with their instruction do a diagnostic check with instructions over the phone myself. It didn't work out , but, Jason standing by didn't even offer his help.
10) Finally, I left the store having secured an appointment on Monday. As I left, Jason had the audacity to suggest to me that if my problem' was so urgent', I should take my chances and call in tomorrow morning, on the possibility a technician may' be available. As I'm a pilot with a schedule I said no it won't be possible.
In the interests of safety, if the phone heats again, I will pop my sim card in my old Nokia analogue phone.
Thanks Apple, you've demonstrated a complete and utter lack of product back up.
The staff in my business are almost certainly going to be changed over to other phones. Apple is expensive, because it is supposed to be well supported and guaranteed. This experience has been appalling.
11) Apple: I need my phone tested for safety reasons. I've noticed it is not processing as fast as it did when I bought it AND it's overheating. I also need to be compensated for a wasted afternoon, and the repeat trip which will be a further morning, I also need product repair/replacement if faulty.
I also need to understand why you employ staff like Jason He has completely let the whole Apple Team down. He is a disgrace and should be disciplined. He'd have no place in my organisation, I would sack him without hesitation

I was locked out, charged for an app that I thought I had canceled, and had a few other issues, and Ms. Tianna took that monster bull by the horns and wrestled it to the ground with full, and deliberate speed. She did that with the most pleasant attitude, and the most patient demeanor that I have encountered in many years, either in person or over the phone. Apple, I hop you realize what a true GEM you have in her, not just personality, but in her knowledge base as well. She should be in a position where she can hire, and, or train in her own image, in every regard. Apple, you have a WINNER!!!!!

You have so little control and are losing more and more every year.
Like boiling frogs.
They trick you into doing something like adding 2FA to your account which locks your account to your cell number. Give up that number and you lose access to your account.
And then they make it impossible to go back.
I could go on and on... They are scum.

My iPad is 2 1/2 years old it has been giving me problems since the beginning of the year
The battery is not holding charge although is says 100% charge. I have taken it to apple genius each time I get a different diagnosis depending on who looks at it. I keep telling them it is the battery because if I keep it plugged in it will work but soon as it is unplugged it shuts of. The apple staff only will direct me to get a new iPad the warranty is expired so I only got a few months after the warranty. Apple needs to do better I am very disappointed I am a senior I like to use my iPad they should be able to do something.

Good morning, I was never a fan of Apple, I always liked Samsung until I saw the Apple 11 pro Max and decided to buy, I bought 2 Iphone11 pro max, 1 iPhone 8 and 2 Apple watch series 5 on September 14 still on pre sale because I wanted to have the appliances before. And I took the change from Sprint because I was so dissatisfied. But I already regretted that I didn't receive my phones on September 20th, as reported by the seller. 9/21 I was in the store and was informed that because of Apple not having sent my devices I did not receive them and need to wait until 27, and did not buy at Apple. I will be activating my rights, but could not help but inform the frustration. Today Monday 23/09 and no position. Order Number Order Number: xx.

I've only ever used friends' Apple products and I've never owned one myself because honestly, I can't stand their operating systems. I find them to be counterintuitive and their products are generally very overpriced. However, I will agree that Apple Music is one of the better music streaming services, especially because they receive a lot of exclusive content.

The iPhone XS Max crams a 6.5-inch screen and all of the same great features of the iPhone XS into a Plus-size body -- but it's not as huge a leap up as you might think.
Pros:The iPhone XS Max has a big, brilliant display and a little more battery life than the XS. It benefits from the improvements that the XS also has: faster speeds, some durability and water resistance improvements, better camera and dual-SIM support.
Cons:It's so, so, so expensive.

I bought the iPad mini 4 fourth years ago and still is working perfectly. I'm looking forward to buy the new one. I really recomend this brand in general.

It recently came to my attention that for 55 months I have been double charged for my Spotify account. Back in 2015 when Spotify and Apple split, I transitioned my Spotify Prime billing over to Spotify because it cost me $10.91 whereas Apple charges $14.19. At this point in time, my Apple Spotify account was downgraded to a free "trial" account and I was no longer being charged the inflated premium. I'm only now realizing, 55 months down the road, that once that trial period ended, Apple began charging me for my account that had previously been canceled with them. They chalk this up to a "user agreement that states that once a trial subscription has ended, you will automatically be charged for the premium account". I have never once received an email regarding these charges. The total charges for these 55 months amounts to $780.45. After 4 hours on chats and on the phone with Apple employees and supervisors, I was told I would be credited $28.38. This is pure fraud and theft. I was never notified of these charges. After reading multiple forums and threads from others experiencing this same issue, I have reached out to a class action lawyer. He will be investigating this issue further. I plan to update this thread as we look into suing Apple. Stay tuned and share this thread if you know of others who have been taken advantage of in a similar way
